She told my wife and I that she would be taking care of a hotel block of rooms. We stressed how important it was to us to have the majority of guests stay in the hotel because 90% were traveling from out of town. She smiled and said that was no problem. We gave her a check for a deposit that night. A few months later we found out the hotel is booked for our wedding date. At this time we already had all of our vendors lined up and the date was not flexible anymore. They blocked off enough rooms for the wedding party and 2 more rooms. I began to talk with the general manager "Charlie" and he just blatantly lied to us telling us that Vannessa escorted us to the hotel front desk and we discussed room reservations with that person. This never happened. When I questioned him that this ever happened he emailed me a contract that was wrote up between the hotel and my wife and I. The problem was that he had the wrong date on the contract. We meet with Vannessa in the evening of 21st and Charlie provided us with a contract that was dated the 22nd. After I questioned him about this he said he didn't need to answer any more of my questions because he answered them all already. I think the real reason he stopped talking to me was because I informed him we were switching venues. DO NOT BOOK A VENUE HERE, THEY WILL LIE DIRECTLY TO YOUR FACE. FOR BEING A CATERING AND EVENT PLANNING COMPANY THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING.
