Heads up, this guy is now threatening my wife with "theft of service, attempt to defraud, and…read moreslander" because we're disputing the charge with our CC company. Story below, buyer beware. Josiah made us start our wedding 17 minutes late because he couldn't find the section of the venue we were in (and didn't try to contact anyone within the venue or alternate contacts provided), then after getting to the section and setting up, we had to continue to wait because he had to update his computer. Three songs total were supposed to be played (and I need to emphasize this point - three TOTAL songs were to be played by Josiah. There was supposed to be seating music, but since we were anxiously waiting for Josiah to get set up, we told him to skip to the ceremony music!). The first song, the most important one, was never played. The second one, during the bride and bridesmaid's walk, was restarted for some reason, then after the second play of the song the music just sort of... stuttered off? Kind of like a techno remix of the song? Though I do have to admit - the third song during our kiss was perfectly on cue! We paid 700 bucks for three songs. Dude came late, didn't play one of those songs, and did a poor job with one other. You're probably thinking to yourself "man, that sucks, I'm sure DJ Sound Productions offered an apology, at least!" Luke at DJ Sound productions, when confronted, called my wife "petty", said that our "wedding wasn't disturbed" because of Josiah being tardy, and proceeded to blame her for miscommunication. During the call, he revealed that Josiah had been on mute in the background THE WHOLE TIME, and then Josiah and Luke tag-teamed yelling at my wife, not letting her speak, and putting words in her mouth. At this point, I know what you're thinking. We probably screwed up an email somewhere, wires were crossed, Josiah's a good guy he probably had a bad day, maybe we're just overreacting, etc. In fact, I'll bet dollars to donuts that very soon there will be a response to this review from DJ Sound Productions saying some of these exact things, and maybe even accusing me of "slander", as he did when he spoke to my wife. Here's the thing... I have videography to back up my claims, and documentation from DJ Sound Production's own systems (which they've now locked me out for some reason.... Funny considering I had access earlier today. It's okay though, I've taken screenshots of everything and exported all documents!) If you are searching for a DJ for your event, I implore you to reconsider purchasing services from DJ Sound Productions. If you have another DJ in mind, pick them. If you have a friend or family member that could do it, choose them instead. If you have a bluetooth speaker and Spotify, you'll probably fare better than hiring DJ Sound Productions.

PROS: -Excellent pricing with unlimited wedding day coverage. -They were flexible with our timeline and helped structure our day. -Our engagement photos turned out great, and Sheila traveled to the cities at no charge to take them at a specific location -Jesse, Jessica, and Lucas are efficient photographers and had many creative ideas. They had no trouble taking charge with our large families, and they encouraged us to come up with ideas as well. -Everyone we spoke to was kind and professional. -We were able to pay off our balance in full before the end of the calendar year for a discount. CONS: -We originally had some issues with communication and color on some of the photos. However, Jessica responded politely and helped us resolve the issues for our online website with our photos. I requested a disc with these adjusted photos back in October. I still have not received this disc, despite numerous follow-up attempts via phone call and email. In addition, I was told I would receive a wall print for referring a client, which I have not yet received. Follow-up emails/calls were made on 11/8/15, 1/11/16 (they responded on this date and asked for more information, which I supplied), 2/9/16, and 3/22/16.

They showed up late and missed any pictures of the party getting ready. They then proceeded to take 5000 photos of the wedding dress. We had to ask them several times to leave so that the bride could put on her dress. This left us feeling rushed taking group shots. They got confused about where we were supposed to park for location shots so the entire party was forced to walk a half mile in 90 degree weather and heels. Their pictures are unoriginal and poorly shot. There were hardly any photos taken of family, notably there were no photos taken of the grooms mothers long term partner. Pictures are poorly touched up. The one great thing to take away from the experience is that I know not to hire them for my wedding.
