However, in the months leading up to our big day, I became super unimpressed with them and even to the morning of our wedding, their communication was extremely unprofessional and lacking. Justin was super unresponsive the month leading up to our wedding and blamed "his email being funky all summer" which is a wild excuse as a wedding vendor. I had to reach out a couple times to get confirmation about everything and once he finally got back to us, I asked him to help us put together an estimate and he grossly overestimated how much to buy. We only went through a quarter of what we purchased per his recommendation *on the low end*. He emailed me the day before the wedding and asked to confirm that the venue had a bar and they didn't need to bring one, and I could not believe he waited until 24 hours before go-time to confirm that. Lastly, the bartenders showed up late, to the point where we were formulating a backup plan on how to get soda and planned on having two guests tend bar. Justin ignored all of our attempts to reach out and confirm they were on their way. Once the actual bartenders got there, they did a great job and the night went great, but the entire communication between when we booked to the day before was an absolute disaster. If you want a stress free day, I genuinely would not recommend working with FreePour.

The bartenders opened every single bottle of hard liquor, so now we have bottles of liquor that either weren't used at all or were only used for one drink, and we don't drink every kind that's opened but we can't return them. I'd guess this cost us over $100.

One thing that really blew us away was how flexible and accommodating LiquidMotion was in allowing us to customize the beverage experience to fit our overall vision for the wedding. First of all, they allowed us to source alcohol from multiple sources. We sourced most of our alcohol through their partnership with Mac's Liquor (highly recommended), but we also sourced a lot of our wine from Costco, and even some additional liquor from Surdyk's. LiquidMotion didn't bat an eye at this, and all we had to do was put our self-sourced alcohol behind the bar at our venue. When we told them that we wanted to serve champagne via a champagne wall, and also have signature 'His and Hers' cocktails served through a custom ice sculpture, they said 'no problem'! Brian, Corey, and the rest of the business team at LiquidMotion did a tremendous job in making the beverage service at our wedding a huge success! And on the day-of, we couldn't have been happier with our two bartenders Ryan and Maxim. They were super professional, entertaining, and made lots of friendly conversation with our wedding guests.
