Their promptness, patience, and attention to detail took a lot of the stress out of the planning phase, and we found that their services were a great value for the money. One thing that really blew us away was how flexible and accommodating LiquidMotion was in allowing us to customize the beverage experience to fit our overall vision for the wedding. First of all, they allowed us to source alcohol from multiple sources. We sourced most of our alcohol through their partnership with Mac's Liquor (highly recommended), but we also sourced a lot of our wine from Costco, and even some additional liquor from Surdyk's. LiquidMotion didn't bat an eye at this, and all we had to do was put our self-sourced alcohol behind the bar at our venue. When we told them that we wanted to serve champagne via a champagne wall, and also have signature 'His and Hers' cocktails served through a custom ice sculpture, they said 'no problem'! Brian, Corey, and the rest of the business team at LiquidMotion did a tremendous job in making the beverage service at our wedding a huge success! And on the day-of, we couldn't have been happier with our two bartenders Ryan and Maxim. They were super professional, entertaining, and made lots of friendly conversation with our wedding guests. These are the extra fee's they will charge you: Port fee - $1.50 Service charge on food service - $4.40 Fuel Surcharge - $0.75 Minnesota food tax - $2.21 Fees - No explanation I would be embarrassed if I gave a gift to 2 people that cost them an extra $19.30 out of their pocket. First we had about an hour long consult where we planned the day's events and timeline. We discussed the types of drinks we like and specialty cocktails. My favorite drink she made sure to make right with my favorite brand of ginger beer. She guided us on the quantities of liquor, wine and beer to purchase and was smart about her use so we actually were able to return some liquor to the store after the wedding. We bought canned & bottled beer in addition to the kegs, but Jamie wisely used the keys first before dipping into the extra beer so there was as little waste as possible. The prices are extremely reasonable. They are mobile, but if you get married at the hidden barn and meadow they have an amazingly beautiful rustic bar built custom for that venue. It's gorgeous. She made 3 specialty non alcoholic cocktails in addition to the alcoholic drinks, plus for a small per person fee covered all mixers, soda, ice and water per person. After the event Jamie took our kegs back to the liquor store and went above and beyond by then mailing us our keg deposit! I mean who does that? Would recommend a million times over! Excellent!
