We wanted everyone dancing and having a great time. Mark arrived at the reception hall a few hours before the guests were going to arrive. He wanted to make sure that he was all set up and ready to go before the guests started to arrive. I really appreciated that as a bride because, to me, it just seem tacky to still be setting up while the guests are mingling. Another thing I loved about Mark was that he was dressed up in a tux! A TUX people! Not ripped jeans or a polo shirt. People are dressed up to be at a wedding and it was great that Mark was too. Relaxing music was played while everyone ate dinner. Once dinner was over and the party was ready to start, Mark REALLY stepped up his game. We started out with the normal first dances but once he was about 4-5 songs in, he had EVERYONE up and dancing. Even my Grandma who was in a wheelchair! He took suggestions from guests at the wedding but for the most part, he chose all the songs. Mark has a knack for knowing when to play a slow song and when to play a dance song. I don't think there was ever a time during our reception that there weren't people dancing. The one piece of advice Mark gave my husband and me was, "Please don't give me a list of songs you want to hear. Let me do what I do best and read the crowd. I promise, you guys will have a great time!" He definitely held up his end of the bargain. I have recommended Butler Productions to every person that I know is getting married. He has even DJ'd my brother's wedding and my sister-in-law's wedding! He then proceeded to tell me he went ahead and just hired a different dj (without asking me if id prefer a refund or suggestions of other djs) with the $800 i had paid in full to him months before. He hired a dj service that i had never heard of before, and it was an all around huge headache to deal with. I found out later he has done this before. And i also found out that the dj he hired in place of him, only charges $525, and not $800 like he told me they charged amd he said he had to really "snaggle them down on thoer price." We are out $275 because of him. I will NEVER recommend king entertainment to anyone. Very shady, and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I have heard now of others who have experienced this same type of issue.
