She wasn't demanding at all, but very friendly and kind and acted like she had known me for years! She made our photography very enjoyable. The pictures she took were not only abundant, but phenomenal in quality. She really captured our special day in the best light possible and I couldn't be more thankful. As my husband is in a wheelchair, she also works excellently with people with special needs and made our pictures reflect how beautiful our love for each other is. I would recommend her to ANYONE and I would rehire her in a heart beat.

One week before the event, they emailed me wanting to drop them off Friday since they said they're close on the weekends. I had too much on my plate, so I wasn't able to check my email that week. Friday came, and that's the only time someone tried to reach out to me saying their delivery guys were already at the venue. When I clarified it with their customer service, she blamed me for not checking my email they sent 1 WEEK PRIOR TO MY EVENT. They said they can deliver it to me on Sunday with additional inconvenience cost! HAD I KNOWN THIS INFORMATION, I WILL NOT BOOK WITH THEM SINCE I ONLY HAVE THE VENUE RENTED FOR THE DAY. After complaining and arguing to the very rude manager, he finally resigned and said it was a miscommunication, and they will be delivering it for free. However, given the stress they put on me, I didn't want to deal with them anymore as they seem to be not very reliable. I asked for a refund, but they said they're not doing refunds, and they only give credits/gift cash. I will only get married once, and given my bad experience, I don't think I'll ever attempt to use that gift card anymore. So, there goes my money down the drain since their contract isn't really flexible to their customer's needs, but ONLY THEIR OWN GREED. Giving poor customer service and not disclosing important information before the purchase like delivery time, then saying you can't refund if you cancel is just pure DAYLIGHT ROBBERY. Plus, the chairs were not even wiped ready for the next customers. They wanted to get free storage for the weekend and gaslighted me again and again saying other previous customers were okay with it. We ended up getting another supplier who rented the chairs for a cheaper price with better quality. Overall, it was very disappointing!

Office is stocked with many brochures and information about the shuttle to the hospital. Access to the room was easy. Parking very convenient. Upon entering the room it was another story. The room was dark. Inadequate lighting. Bathroom was way too dim. Area where the closet cabinet was had no apparent light switch or working light. Old ceiling tiles showed evidence of water leaks and the room smelled. To me it was musty, like a laundry basket full of sweaty clothes that sat too long. Not pleased about that. The bathroom was clean, bed seemed to be clean and fresh. Furniture is old with worn places on the edges. Carpet worn and frayed at bathroom doorway. So far this is where we are at for now. Just arrived. Worrying because we booked this room for a week. At least they have shuttle access to the Mayo Clinic. Good access to the main street. Not giving this hotel/motel a very high rating. There is even a question as to billing. Their paperwork states room rate about $45 per night. We booked for 5 days and the cost is over $320 so something isn't adding up. We will check on that.

KROC 106.9 plays music, with entertainment, weather, and news highlights scattered throughout the day. It's top 40 music. It's a cross between the relaxed tone of CHUM 104.5 and the music vibes of KISS 92.5 in Toronto. When I moved to Rochester years ago, I basically brought a suitcase of essentials and me on a plane. I then furnished my apartment by gradually getting items as I went along. One of the first items that I bought was a clock radio. I still have it to this day and it works. I find that whenever I am in a new city, I turn on the radio to listen to what's happening locally. I liked what I heard on KROC and it became my radio station for two years as a Rochester resident. I tuned into the morning show before I headed into work every weekday. Back then, the morning show consisted of Tracy McCray and James Rabe. Both have since left and have moved to another FM station in Rochester. Small world! KROC is located in downtown Rochester. The building is unassuming. It's beige with small KROC letters on it. It's not like some of the neon signs that we see in Toronto for radio stations screaming out their call letters. Rochester is significantly smaller in population than Toronto, but is still deemed a city. Hey, whatever works is good. It has been around since the 1960's. I liked the music. I got into Lifehouse, the band, thanks to this station, and more. I also learned what community activities were going on, which helped me figure things out as a resident. Luckily, streaming radio stations around the world can be easily done these days. I tend to tune in through a browser, but the station has an app that you can download, too. I'll occasionally check out what's happening on KROC, especially when I need my fix hearing a Minnesotan accent or two. (31)

This was my second time staying for a week or more, and the staff was good to me night and day. I very much enjoyed the full-size refrigerator, and the kitchenette with supplied cooking equipment and silverware. The non-carpeted floor in the entryway/kitchen/bathroom was clean, and the carpeted area seemed clean, too. I do wish they provided handheld shower, heads, but oh well... certain people can't be trusted with that kind of responsibility, right?
