We used Bella Rose Photography for our engagement and wedding photos. Our experience had both pros and cons. PROS: -Excellent pricing with unlimited wedding day coverage. -They were flexible with our timeline and helped structure our day. -Our engagement photos turned out great, and Sheila traveled to the cities at no charge to take them at a specific location -Jesse, Jessica, and Lucas are efficient photographers and had many creative ideas. They had no trouble taking charge with our large families, and they encouraged us to come up with ideas as well. -Everyone we spoke to was kind and professional. -We were able to pay off our balance in full before the end of the calendar year for a discount. CONS: -We originally had some issues with communication and color on some of the photos. However, Jessica responded politely and helped us resolve the issues for our online website with our photos. I requested a disc with these adjusted photos back in October. I still have not received this disc, despite numerous follow-up attempts via phone call and email. In addition, I was told I would receive a wall print for referring a client, which I have not yet received. Follow-up emails/calls were made on 11/8/15, 1/11/16 (they responded on this date and asked for more information, which I supplied), 2/9/16, and 3/22/16. read more

Writing this review on behalf of my sister who used this company for her wedding this summer. I was the maid of honor and this company was a disaster. They showed up late and missed any pictures of the party getting ready. They then proceeded to take 5000 photos of the wedding dress. We had to ask them several times to leave so that the bride could put on her dress. This left us feeling rushed taking group shots. They got confused about where we were supposed to park for location shots so the entire party was forced to walk a half mile in 90 degree weather and heels. Their pictures are unoriginal and poorly shot. There were hardly any photos taken of family, notably there were no photos taken of the grooms mothers long term partner. Pictures are poorly touched up. The one great thing to take away from the experience is that I know not to hire them for my wedding. read more

I would not recommend using Bella Rose for your wedding photographer. Everything was great until I paid in full. They are only in the office 2 days per week and may take a week or more to return a call. Jessica (the owner) said it would be no problem to email a pic I wanted to use for thank you cards early. 4 weeks later I still didn't have a picture. I should have listened to my gut in the first place. For the next 4 weeks I called and emailed, and called with no answer from anyone in the office. I never did get that picture emailed. I finally pick up my CD and there is only 190 pics when I was told they shoot about 70 an hour. That doesn't even come close. The worst part is the CD only had half of the day. Everything from after the social hour (about 4pm to 8pm) is missing. I wish I would have been smarter about reviewing before I signed their contract. Their customer service is non-existent. EDIT: I did receive all of my photos. Jessica stated the photographer used 2 cameras and they did not upload correctly. However the end product is not the only important service when you hire someone. They seem give lots of excuses and "we're sorry" when things don't go right. Jessica asked me to take this post down. I'm not taking it down because I was not happy with her service. MAKE SURE YOU RESEARCH before making a decision for your photos whether it is with Bella rose or someone else. I knew before I even got engaged that I was going to be using Bella Rose for our pictures and I'm so glad that I did!!! Jessica and Jesse treated us like we've been friends for years and made us feel so comfortable! Anytime a hiccup would occur they were sure to contact us right away! They had a personal issue come up the week before our wedding, Jesse called me right away to explain what was going on and that they were hand picking the photographers that would be at the wedding. We couldn't have been happier with our engagement and wedding pictures! We'll for sure be using Bella Rose for any future picture needs! read more

Bella Rose is so unbelievably unprofessional. I sincerely regret paying them for my wedding photography. The whole process was bad from the start. My husband had a bad gut feeling (like Deja M.) but unfortunately he didn't speak up to me about it. I only chose them because the price was cheap. I would recommend spending extra money on a PROFESSIONAL photographer-not these chumps. They sent out inexperienced photographers for the wedding, who had no sense of time. We just now got our photo disc and our wedding was July 11th of this year. We were promised the photo disc by September 11th. We were told they would send a free print because of the complaints from us, and of course they did not deliver. Jessica is rude and unprofessional. If I could, I would give Bella Rose Photography zero stars. Do not use this business for your wedding photos! To put it simply - they are disorganized (our photos were promised to us at different times, in different mediums by multiple people out of the office, we had to confirm several times when our engagement photos would be taken), the pictures they took were poorly edited and poorly taken (Resolution is terrible, edits I could make on my cell phone, photographers didn't know what they were doing), and when I told them I no longer needed their services, they badgered me, made me explain multiple times why I was no longer interested and told me I was wrong. They made me make a special trip to St Cloud so I could sign a "waiver" but it was just a piece of paper, my name spelt wrong, no dates, etc. After they made such a stink I would think the waiver would have been some sort of legal document. I have heard multiple people having the same problems.....watch out! read more

We had a terrible experience with Bella Rose - they do not even deserve a star. My brother and sister-in-law were married over a year ago and just received their wedding video this week. The quality was terrible and not at all what they had expected. What's worse, was the communication leading up to this point. Not only was Bella Rose rude in dealing with my family, but they threatened to sue all of us over negative reviews. They made promise after promise about receiving the video, only to be left with excuse after excuse as to why they couldn't deliver the goods they had promised. It's so sad to see how they are treating other customers and reading their google reviews proves that our family isn't the only victim. Read the reviews and draw the conclusions for yourself! I wish I could give Bella Rose a zero star review. I regret paying them for photos that we didn't think were professional quality. We were promised certain photographers that didn't show up to our wedding. I understand that emergencies happen, but we weren't notified of the photographer change at all. I went over a whole day preview with one of the owners and apparently none of that information got relayed to the photographers that showed up to my wedding. They walked in and asked around who the bride was. They had no idea what was going on. They had no idea who they were supposed to photograph. It was very stressful and disorganized. In fact my grandparents got completely missed because they had no idea who to photograph and I was so busy and distracted. They were shy and mousy and didn't really do any directing. My husband and I posed each other for our couple shots just off the top of our heads. We got back our DVD of shots and NONE were edited. I wonder what took two months? I actually had my friend photoshop them on his computer because some were so bad. In our opinion they were not professional looking at all. My husband even called to complain and they said they would do something extra to compensate for us not having the photographer we were promised, but we got nothing. I wouldn't waste my money on this company. There's a lot of wedding photographers out there and I would advise taking your time looking. They say photos are the most important part of the wedding and I broke down and cried after seeing the DVD that was supposed to represent my special day. Keep looking brides. read more

Bad customer service and follow up. We were married this summer (2015) the pictures are only ok but the service is VERY disappointing! The owners did our wedding....they showed up late so that didn't leave any time for before pics of my dress(as discussed in our meeting), did not scope out the place where we were getting married (as stated they would) for outside pictures, left early so have NO pictures of us walking down the isle of husband and wife, no pictures at our head table(which I discussed with them after they finally arrived), I could go ON AND ON... No one called us about our pictures being ready, so I emailed to find out and was told they are ready to be picked up, I went in the next day to pick them up and the CD wasn't there. I was told our link would be emailed to us that day and they would put CD in the mail to us that afternoon...NOTHING! I called back the next day asking about the link, finally that was emailed to us, after I've made continued attempts AND 4 months after our wedding, voicemail's left and emails from me ...still NO CD of our pictures. I've asked for Jessica (the owner) who did our wedding to call me and have not heard from her. The last time I called, to follow up AGAIN, I was told (AGAIN) the CD would be in the mail with a tracking # provided and a email conformation would be sent...well that was in Sept...it's now October...and yep still NOTHING! We were disappointed with the pictures, a lot of them are cropped. I was expecting more attention to detail, we don't need all of the woods showing when you can't even see our faces, pictures of our reception with the caterers set-up dishes in the background. They gave us a lot of the same pics with a semi- close shot, then same pic just a wide shot and then same pic narrow shot. I don't take the time to write reviews but I needed to on this because weddings are a big deal and having a company tell you what they will do then follow through on 10% is not acceptable. Scammer alert!! Stay away from this place! I give it a zero if I could. Very unprofessional. We hired them to do our videography for our wedding and we are still waiting for our video. Our wedding was in 07/25/15 and we were supposed to get our video in 6 months, we are going on 10 months now and nothing so far but a bunch of excuses. I read some negative reviews about them and they always respond that that's not how they do business, but apparently it is exactly how they do business. They take your money, in our case $3800 and you don't get anything from them but lip service.. Please save yourself the aggravation and pain and hire some professionals not these jokers. We have been more than gracious and waited this long but enough is enough. We have given them plenty of time to make this right and they have ignored us for the last time. We are currently pursuing legal action against these scammers! Worst decision we ever made. They will ignore you until you sue them, so be it. Again, my husband and I have been TRYING for months to make contact and rectify this transaction. This is just another example of excuses. We have a chain of emails showing their lack of interest in completing this transaction. They refused to provide us any information what so ever. We're happy to update this at any time with their efforts. When Bella rose can take the time to write these lengthy responses to reviews but they can't send us more than a one sentence email over the course of two months it is extremely frustrating. Avoid at all costs! She is honestly the worst/most unprofessional photographer ever. She ruined my brother's wedding. First of all, she show up late and starts barking orders. I understand the need for organization during a busy wedding day but this woman was out of bounds in the way she was speaking to the bridal party and made two of the flower girls cry. We were on beautiful golf course but had to take pictures in the parking lot and not on the course because she was "hot" and she even said "I'm not gonna move so you better get over it." I couldn't believe my ears! Everyone remarked on how rude and terse she was. Her "second professional photographer" turned about to be her daughter's teenage boyfriend and they left immediately after they ate their cater meal. To top it all of she never edited the photos as promised and was late to deliver the photos. When we called to ask why, she cussed out and hung up on the bride's dad! I recently used Bella Rose photography for my wedding day, I was more then satisfied with the all the services they provided. Everything went very smooth and the people were very friendly and helpful all the way up to my wedding day. I particularly loved that fact that they stayed in contact with me the weeks leading up to my wedding, it showed that they cared and showed real professionalism. The photos were amazing and I couldn't be happier! Short summary: Unprofessional, unorganized, and unreliable. We would recommend Bella Rose Photography and Film if you want to manage your vendor and constantly follow-up and hold them accountable to do their job. A few suggestions if you do decide to work with Bella Rose Photography: 1) Pay by credit card, not by check or cash, 2) Agree (in writing) that they will communicate with you by a specific point before the wedding to discuss photos and that they will take responsibility to follow up on payment schedules, 3) If they intend to substitute other photographers for your event, agree upon a deadline for them to communicate this to you and also ensure you have a pre-meeting with the photographers you will be working with, 4) Ensure meeting notes and follow-up items are sent via email for your records and theirs. If any of this does not happen they are in breach and you should have a clause for any of your payments to be returned within 30 days. Details: Our initial meeting with Jessica and Jesse (the owners) seemed to go well although we agreed we were a little apprehensive based on their unprofessional office setup. We found them to be quite nice and thought they would be easy to work with, so we made the decision to hire them for our wedding. In hindsight we should have read some more online reviews and gone with our gut feeling. During the initial meeting they had mentioned that they had done a wedding at our proposed reception venue and would send us some pictures of that. They had not been to the church before and said they would visit it prior to our wedding day. Weeks and then months passed and the example pictures were never sent. We were so busy with the planning of the other details of our wedding that we didn't realize this was missed until it was too late. About a month before the wedding, we realized we had heard absolutely nothing since our initial meeting four months earlier and decided to reach out to have our pre-wedding detail meeting. We expected a reply giving us some date options but received an email reply 48 hours later saying that yes we needed to meet up and that we should call their office and arrange a time. After multiple attempts to reach them during their office hours stated on their website, leaving multiple messages, and sending more emails, over a week later we finally set (via email, we NEVER received a phone call) a time to talk over the phone (due to work travel and the time it had taken to finally arrange a time, we were unable to meet face to face). Around two hours before the teleconference was scheduled, they canceled due to a family emergency. We decided to give them one more chance as we understand family emergencies happen and arranged another meeting for the next day. All of the emails exchanged appeared to come from Jessica, but when the call finally took place we were surprised to hear Jesse's voice. He started asking questions like our names, parents' names, address of venue and reception, etc. We asked why we were being asked all this when they already had this information from our initial meeting and the response was that he was calling from home and he left our file was in the office. At this point we decided to stop the call and told Jesse that we were not feeling confident in their ability to perform as promised. With just over two weeks before our wedding we had a tough decision to make: continue or cancel and find someone else. Luckily for us we had a fantastic wedding planner who found a replacement and we chose to terminate the agreement with Bella Rose. We sent an email stating the reasons and requested our deposit to be returned. This request was refused and accompanied by excuses. In the end we were made whole by our fantastic credit card company. Couldn't give 0 stars had to have at least 1 to post. Not at all impressed with this place! Terrible customer service, never available when call or go to office. Took forever to get my daughters senior pictures and almost missed the deadline for yearbook. Told us they have many other customers from our school and can submit the photo directly, only to be blamed when we confronted them as to why her picture was never sent and told it's our fault because we never gave them the schools contact info! Was told we could have unlimited poses and then when we received the jump (instead of the package as we finally had to settle on demanding a jump just to receive something in time) we see multiple photos the same just some were zoomed in and out which made it look like there were over 50 pictures but in reality was only half that as they were all the same just zoomed in or out. Quality of photos were no different than anything I could take with my cell phone! Spent months trying to get our order and ended up demanding to receive something and settling for a jump drive of photos we had to settle for even after paying for a package. Attempting to call them is a joke, no one ever answers and when they do manage to return your call it's from a cell phone not affiliated with the company (I don't answer calls I don't know the number for) and the man who returns the call was either drunk or unable to speak clearly and most of the conversation is unable to be understood. Frustrating company poor customer service poor quality! WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! They should be shut down! read more

Highly unprofessional and you never get your order! We had a photo session over a year ago and are still waiting on our prints that have been promised to us several times. Jessica blamed a previous employee for the delay and said that employee has since been fired. She also offered a free session and prints for the issue and told me that the photos for the prior years session had been sitting at the office and I could pick them up, but that they had to find them again first. The new session again went great-these two are wonderful at getting my 4 year old to feel comfortable and have fun during photo sessions. They picked a great location and everything again went very well and our little one had a blast! The issue is it's now been months yet again and I've still not received ANY of the prints from prior session and it took forever to receive the digitals from this 2nd session. I made numerous attempts to pick up the digital image cd and we'd even made appointments to do so. One of the times she did not respond with the address to meet and we went to the old location (in Midtown Square) to find out they were no longer there. The second appointment was cancelled very last minute, (within a few hours of appointment) which was upsetting since my husband took the day off to go with me to order photos for Christmas gifts and then it never happened due to cancellation. Also after numerous attempts to set up a time to pick up the digital cd again Jessica said she could just email them to me. I provided my email again and it took weeks to receive even an email with the digital images from the time I provided my email address to when she sent them via email. ALL IN ALL IT TOOK OVER 6 MONTHS TO RECEIVE OUR DIGITAL IMAGES AND WE STILL HAVE NEVER RECEIVED THE PHYSICAL PRINTS WE ORDERED OVER A YEAR AND A HALF AGO! With the delays the first time around I really expected the second time around to go smoothly, especially after Jessica telling us all those delays were all due to a previous employee. However, this time we worked directly with the owners (Jessica & Jesse) and we still had major delays, (6 months wait for digitals on the second session and still no physical photos from the first session 18+ months ago) so there is absolutely no excuse this time. After everything, it is my opinion that it was not some lazy employee that caused the delays and reason we never received prints, but instead that the owners are great at taking the photos, but horrible when it comes to delivery of the actual digital images or prints. If you want excuses, argument and to be blamed for delays, then you've found the jackpot and Bella Rose is where it's at! If you actually want your prints-I would highly recommend going somewhere else. It's a bummer since they seem like a great group of people and my daughter really took to them well during photo sessions, which she doesn't always do. Unfortunately it all comes down to this- none of that matters if you never received your order. read more

DO NOT do business with these people. Dealing with them was the worst experience and ruined our wedding day. The owners were the ones who we had all our meetings with and went through our plans with and were supposed tone the ones photographing us. Well the day of two women we had never met showed up and said they were our photographers. No one called me or my husband to notify us of this change, no voice mail, no email, nothing. We were upset as we had gone through so much detail with the people who committed to be at our wedding. We called them and they said something came up. Sounds like a trend from reading other reviews. Wtf. This was OUR day. They were very rude about it and then the two women had attitudes the whole time taking photos. They kept asking me what I wanted even though we had given the owners a thorough write up. They did pictures of the men with out their corsages. Ruined. All the pictures they said they would take during the ceremony are non existent. I'm looking away or blinking in every shot. They never adjusted my dress in the pictures so it is wrinkled and other details out of place. Posed group pictures even are terrible as everyone is just looking around, they didn't tell anyone when they were taking photos or to look or smile, say cheese, count to 3, anything. All our photos are horrible and look like a drunk person took them. Then waiting for them to actually give us the photos after the wedding? The date promised kept getting pushed and pushed and pushed until we were literally threatening legal action. We never even got our prints just a disc. They do not look edited at all! I have had to edit them. They rarely answered their phones and always had full voice mails. The woman owner smelled like rotting garbage. Bella Rose ruined priceless memories. Every time I look at our photos I am filled with anger. Cell phone pictures from our guests were better than these scammers. Don't give them your money. I hope Jessie and Jessica read this and realize they are ruining people's weddings. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Don't try to give some bullsh** excuse response either Jessica. If I could, I would give Bella Rose Photography zero stars. In short: unprofessional, unorganized, and undependable. I wouldn't recommend anyone to use this business for their wedding photos or videography. Please think twice if you're considering using them for your wedding photography services. We paid quite the price because photography and videography was something that was very important to us. We got a lot of great pictures, however, there are several that are missing that we will never be able to get back. They wouldn't allow us to give them a "shot list" - meaning, I was responsible for saying who needed to be in what photos. It was a stress placed on me that was absolutely unnecessary. We intentionally picked the package from Bella Rose to get a second photographer and to have the videographer from the same company. The second photographer told one of our groomsmen during the reception that "he was only there because he was the photographer's daughter's boyfriend." All of our pictures of our wedding party, bridesmaids, groomsmen, etc. were taken with an abundance of dead grass clumps in the picture. When the photographer was approached about this after the wedding, she immediately became defensive and was "upset" that I, as the bride, didn't say anything to her, when other family members had approached members of her photography/videography team. When we received our final pictures, yes, this dead grass was edited out, however, I feel I shouldn't have had to ask for that. I was hopeful the few photos we took in the church were going turn out as we didn't want a lot indoors. All of the photographs of us together & us lighting the unity candle are overexposed. The video of the church is such poor quality, the sound is very poor, and the videographer was coughing through the entire video. The video the church recorded from their AV booth for us for free is better quality than the video we paid for from Bella Rose. After the wedding, things have been awful when it comes to communicating. I was promised on the day of the wedding that I could get my thank you card pictures prior to the 60 day mark of my contract, when I attempted to communicate with Jessica, the owner/photographer several times I was told to contact the office to "set up a meeting" to get my thank you card pictures. I attempted to contact their "office" several times during their office hours stated on their website, left multiple messages, and received no return telephone calls. We received our online link to our proofs of our images at 11:57 PM on the 60th day. The pictures we did receive, though were edited, had so many missing, it took Jessica over 2 months to remedy this situation - by getting me all of the photos that were taken the day of the wedding. Jessica then stated she would edit the pictures "that I want." I didn't want to deal with the hassle of hearing further excuses from Jessica, so I've hired someone to edit my pictures for me. Throughout the entire process, Jessica came back to me with so many different excuses: they fired their office person, they fired our videographer, they've been too busy, they're on vacation, etc. I e-mailed, called, left voice mails, etc. time after time - with no response. The video is something that will never be remedied; again, I also didn't want to go through the process of attempting to communicate with Jessica. Because of the "hassle" that we had to deal with Jessica was going to compensate us 2 canvases - she promised them by Christmas, which was another failed promise, I had to constantly e-mail Jessica day after day to get a response of when I could pick them up. When I did go to pick them up, Jessica compensated us 4 canvases for "all of the hassle" we had gone through. Though that was a nice gesture, we would've been more pleased to bypass all of the stress we've had with Bella Rose since our wedding day. read more
