Booked on the website and paid on the website in advance of our trip. Our driver was on the airport on time. It was pouring rain when we arrived, after meeting the driver, we all ran to the car. For my first trip to Mexico, this was a bit of a frightening experience. After dropping us off, our driver seemed busy and I handed him a tip and said thank you. 10 minutes later he is calling my husband repeatedly saying we didn't pay, when my husband told him we had a confirmation and paid on the website in advance. As we were waiting to check in and sitting with our guest services rep, the driver found us in the lobby and I told him we paid for this already and luckily had printed out my confirmation. He took a picture and sent it to his boss. This experience made me worried that they were not going to show up to drop us at the airport since we had booked round trip transportation. Unlike when we were arriving to Cancun, when we received confirmations about our upcoming transfer for departure we didn't receive one. I reached out the day before to make sure they would show and that they knew which lobby to get us from. The day of, the driver told us he was going to be 20 minutes late, 20 minutes turned into 40 minutes and I had asked my husband to reach out because at this point we were sitting in anxiety that we were going to miss our flight but the driver called to ask which lobby ( information we provided the day before). It was the last flight of the day. Our driver was also coughing quite a bit, and I regretted not putting on my mask like I should have because after we got out I felt sick the rest of the weekend. We love the ease and and the organization of Meet Playa's service. This time, because we were rolling sixteen people deep, I set up all of our airport transfers via This company. We were not disappointed. In addition to this service we also arranged a private tour that included round trip service from our hotel to Chichen Itza, a Cenote swim with a lunch buffet included, a visit to to the historical town Valladolid and the freedom to spend as long or as little time at each spot as we deemed necessary. Our driver Luis arrived on time, looked professional and welcomed us with hot morning coffee, fresh pan dulces, ice cold juices, waters and beers. Amazing choice for your transportation in Cancun. I booked online, received confirmation emails for both pick ups and also received an almost instant reply on a question I sent. I used Meet Playa to go from the Cancun airport to a resort in Costa Mujeres. After clearing customs and exiting the airport they were super easy to find as they were holding up a sign with my name on it. After a short verification that it was me, we were walked over to our private van that was air-conditioned and had cold water provided. Both ways the drivers were on time and super friendly. If you're airline crew they provide a 15% discount when booking. In the notes section just type in airline crew and your total will be adjusted at the time of service. So I'm in the site to book transfer from CUN to the hotel and they don't accept AMEX so I exited out of the site, simple enough right?.... No, these vultures email me multiple times with my pickup times and confirmation. Always on time and very professional. I had Daniel as my driver picking me up from the airport to take me to Tulum. I feel so bad I cant remember the other drivers name - I think it was David who took us back to the airport. Both drivers were early or on time and very professional. They were very good drivers and brought the cold beverages i requested. If I were to come back, I'd definitely use them again. I would recommend them to any of my friends and family. GREAT experience! We booked them for our airport transfer to our Hotel in the Playa Del Carmen area. They were already waiting for us when we finally got out of the airport building (for first timers: They will NOT meet you inside the airport building. You have to grab your luggage, walk past all the Taxi and timeshare sales people and the second you step out of the building you will see the Meet Playa guys). The ride to Playa Del Carmen takes about 1hr and our family of 3 was very comfortable in their air conditioned van with plenty of room to spare. Upon arrival at the hotel, I was able to pay just half of the total fee (the other half was due upon return to the airport, something other airport transfer companies will NOT (!) do as they insist you pay everything upfront and then, if they don't pick you up from the hotel to take you back to the airport, well, tough luck... Our return to the airport was just as smooth: We checked out of the hotel and the Meet Playa guy was already waiting for us. All in all, this was a clear "10/10 experience", and did I already mention that these guys were $20 cheaper than all the other airport transportation companies? read more

Deciding to have a driver scheduled to pick us up at the Cancun airport and take us to Tulum, was the first step of a reliable, relaxed, and professional experience with MeetPlaya. MeetPlaya communicated well via email both pre and post our trip. Our driver, Juan was waiting with a sign as soon as we stepped out of the terminal. Both our drivers were friendly, communicative and very helpful. We enjoyed the trip with both of them. We paid for the round trip and it was totally worth it. Terrible experience - do NOT use this company. For 3 trips within 1 week, they were late for 2, including not arriving at airport to pick us up for 29 minutes, which was stressful, Driver did NOT arrive to drive us from hotel to airport after 1 hour so we had to take a taxi. Hotel staff contacted Meetplaya who lied to them, saying driver was at gate of hotel - he was not, as hotel staff checked and then lied to say he was fixing flat tire outside hotel. My family (five of us) and I used meet playa the entire time of our stay (May 13-18) while in Cancun. From airport to and from the hotel..to various excursions and exploring other nearby beaches..and all I can say is WOW! Excellent Transportation Service! My family and I used MeetPlaya Transfers this June to pick us up from the airport and to our destination. I have been to Cancun over a handful of times and must say that MeetPlaya Transfers is the best transportation service around in Cancun. I reached out to the company to coordinate transportation for my group of 30. Leo responded promptly and was able to accommodate my large group with three vans. As soon as we walked out of the airport, the drivers were waiting for us. All of the drivers were extremely friendly, polite, and made us feel welcomed. The drive from the airport to our resort was over an hour long but it didn't feel long at all because the driver in my car, Oscar, chatted with us the entire time and gave us suggestions and tips during our stay. Our flight back home was delayed so I reached out to Leo to have him change the pickup time. He responded promptly and changed the pickup time as requested. I'm going to keep this very short but I had a major problem with this company in the beginning from the first driver who picked me up from the airport but Leo (the owner) made it soooo much better for me . I spoke with him on the phone on the way back and he promised that he would handle the issue and I just felt so much better about everything. I've used their service six times this year not only for airport transfers but also for tours in the Mayan Riviera. Their drivers are great and very personable, they will track the flight to make sure they're there when you arrive and they will greet you with cold drinks. They are also better priced than any of the vans you can get at the airport and also better and safer than the taxis you can get in town if you are traveling with a large group or a ton of luggage. They were right on time on arrival, although they had to wait a bit for us since we kept getting stop from sellers lol. But the ride to Playa del Carmen was very fast! We used MeetPlaya to go from the Cancun airport to our resort by Tulum to a ferry port and then from the ferry to the airport. Instead of working with our hotel, chose to use Meet Playa for our airport to hotel and back transfers while staying in Playa del Carmen. What a great idea. Compared the pricing with the hotel service -- Meet Playa was a much better deal. Used a hotel service for a daily excursion later in our stay and wished that we would have used Meet Playa for that too. Pricing was ridiculous through the hotel. Meet Playa were very organized, sent follow up confirmation and informational emails. Met us on time, picked us up the morning of our return on time. Great drivers, very informative, safe and a very clean vehicle. Will use them again when we go to Cancun later in the summer. read more
