Tony is the absolute Gold Standard when it comes to contractors. Where do I start? First of all…read morehe is the nicest person. His work is impeccable! He does not use subcontractors. He is completely on top of every detail of the project. We have never had a more responsive contractor. I can text him anytime and he immediately gets back to me. He sends photos of everything. For instance, he did our roof and it turned out the plywood under the shingles were not the right thickness and incredibly damaged. So, instead of having to take his word for it, as is the case with most contractors, he sent videos of what was up there so that I could decide what to do accordingly. There is no scope of work that he can't take on. For us, he renovated our family room, redid a bathroom, renovated a basement room, tiled our entry way, completely renovated a sunroom that had major water damage and mold, and gave us an new roof. And, he did all of that in 4 weeks, which is crazy fast! Tony can do anything! And I trust him completely because he is so conscientious, honest, and always does things the right way (absolutely no cutting corners). I can't speak highly enough of him. We are so happy to have met him! I already have many future projects in mind for him.

If they can't show up for an estimate, what's going to happen if and when they start the work. I've gotten estimates that were absolutely ridiculous. People are either unreliable or way too expensive. I have these large wall mirror over 20 feet wide and 16 feet high in my on-suite. That was always a concern with any contractor who came to give an estimate. I was blessed by meeting up with Eyal Abramov of Highlander Rennovations. He came for the estimate when he said he would come. He later came back with a written estimate which were setup to be paid in installments for each type of work that was completed and only that portion of the cost was required. He came everyday early in the morning and did a full day of work. I had an issue in my on-suite where I couldn't get the exact size windows. And then when I ordered the windows, I ordered them the wrong size. I asked him what about a large single sliding window. I was amazed that he was able to frame the window perfectly so that it looked like that's the way it was originally. I trust Highland Renovation, they have good prices, provide great service, are on time and you pay only when that portion of the job which is well defined in advance, is completed. Also he's very clean and organized, the demolition was done in one day for 2 bathrooms and the clean-up was great. There was absolutely no stress and this was just a pleasure. The workmanship was above par. I highly recommend this company for renovations and home repair.
