New Year's Eve Day, I see a broken pipe in my pasture. A lake is there! I called Meeks plumbing, and Bryton Prevatt came out, and without batting an eye, fixed the leak, dug the pipe out, added a new shut off valve! He even filled the hole back in. STAY AWAY! MY elderly mom called for a vinyl floor estimate for water between the seams. He told her the entire floor of house had to be ripped up water was coming up from under house. The entire family was debating to just Tear down the house due to his extreme destruction he deemed necessaryvand find a place for her to live. Turns out THERE IS NO LEAK, NO NEED FOR ANYTHING HE RECOMMENDED. I pray this person who lied about a leak and the destruction of the house necessary to remedy it gets more of this type of service when he needs it, or better yet WHEN HIS MOM NEEDS IT! I'm honestly at a loss with Meeks Plumbing. Their customer service is incredibly inconsistent. A technician came to my home today and left without finishing the job because the information on the service ticket was written incorrectly. He actually walked out the door without completing the job and did not care with such an attitude. And he had no idea what the previous technician had done at my home about three weeks ago. Unfortunately, the technician from that earlier visit didn't complete the job properly--and actually created a new issue--then told me everything was done. I didn't have time to check everything myself because I was in a rush to get back to work. Lesson learned: ALWAYS double-check any work before a technician leaves your home. In today's world with all the available technology, it's hard to understand why these service technicians arrive without having any knowledge of what was previously done. There should be a customer profile or job history attached to each address so technicians don't arrive clueless. Who is training these people? If this happened on my team, the associates would be written up first and then if it happened again, fired! Not only that, but they don't clean up after themselves and barge in like "bulls in a china shop" without introducing themselves. When I called the company to express my concerns, I spoke to a manager /dispatcher who was incredibly rude, disrespectful, lacked customer service skills, was unprofessional professional and even dishonest. I'm trying to figure out who actually owns this company. I originally spoke to someone named Mary who was very nice, and I was told Scott might be the boss, but he had already left for the day. When I tried calling back to speak with Mary again, the same rude manager /dispatcher kept intercepting my calls and was rude again to me. The whole situation is just ridiculous. read more

I've used Meeks for 18 years and I've never regretted calling them. They always treat me with respect and kindness and treat my home as if it belongs to one of their family members. They come in , assess the situation and give me options. These employees know that plumbing problems aren't always in the budget. After they do the job that we've agreed on the area is cleaned up and they do a quality check with me in case I have any concerns. In a world in which I'm hesitant to have any type of worker in my home I absolutely trust Meeks. Our home is about 45 yrs old and things are starting to break. We've recently had Taylor come in to repair and replace three things over the past few months and he has done a wonderful job. read more

We just have moved to our house in Belleview and discovered the refrigerator ice maker was not connected to a water source. The water line was connected to the refrigerator but could not find were it connected to a water source at first; finally found it on top of water heater. Called Meeks and they came next day and had it all fix very quickly and professionally. read more

Really poor service, luckily it wasn't an emergency. Meeks didn't have the part for a Koehler Shower, waited over 2 weeks to get a part. When the plumber finally arrived (I was to be the first customer to be serviced,.. but wasn't). The part ordered was the wrong part, the plumber then went to a Meeks parts department at another location and obtained a correct part. Total cost seemed high $100 for the part + $100 for labor. Hopefully it's fixed and will stay fixed. read more

We had a problem with a leaky toilet tank. The plumber arrived on time and was polite and knowlegeable. He had the correct part with him and it was a quick fix. The service charge was very reasonable. We are new to the area and were glad to find a reliable plumbing service. Thank you. read more

Had Meeks Plumbing in Belleview, Florida replace outside faucet -- Charge $90 + parts (for about 1/2 labor). Few days later had them replace faucet on other side of house and washer in bathroom sink. Charge $180 + parts for less than an hour's labor. Had been told bathroom washer would be about $10 but never mentioned $90 for labor. When I called was told it was $90 per job and only gave senior discount of 10% on first $90 charge. Excessive charge and rude when questioned about charge!!!! read more

Giving this company a 1 star review is giving them to much. Called to get a quote on a clogged drain. The person that answered the phone stated even though the website states 24 hour service the business opens at 7:30. Someone would be calling me to set up an appointment. I called back hours later to see why no one had called me yet and the person that answered the phone made excuses why nobody had called, and was rude. Meeks did my bathroom remodel. Very disappointed with the quality of workmanship. The plumber sawed through the bathroom wall multiple times and hired a third party to patch and paint the damage- and they also did a poor job! Very unhappy with the work done and for the price I paid... it should look fantastic! read more

Needed a new garbage disposal and called Meeks Plumbing in Belleview. The disposal had meet a horrible death, and we had had a terrible smell coming from the area and tried everything to dispel the smell. Andy & Jason arrived with a new disposal in hand and they also discovered that whomever installed the old disposal for the previous owner of the home, had plumbed the water lines incorrectly, thus causing water to be retained in the disposal and the horrible smell. Cudos to Andy and Jason, they were very professional and respectful and explained what steps needed to be done to correct the problem and they took the time to correct it right then. Meeks plumbing unsuccessfully repaired a leak. After leaving, it was still leaking in the walls and Meeks refused to come out to make things right immediately, stating it would be another week before they could return. Upon asking for reducing the $500 bill for their shoddy workmanship, Meeks representative got extremely belligerent. Will never do business with them again. read more
