I asked ChatGPT for the best company suited to my particular problem and Johnson Bros was the…read morerecommendation. My criteria was honest, competent, and fair prices. I feared a complicated drainage diagnosis and possibly a very expensive repair. I had already worked myself into believing this might involve cameras, locating equipment, drainage plans, excavation, and who knows what else. Jeremy took one look at the situation and said, essentially, "Nope." The problem was simple, and so was the solution. He explained that the pop-up drain was doing what it was designed to do, but the excess water had found an easier path underground, which also explained a soft depression nearby (this was causing a lot of soil erosion on my neighbor's property). He then spent a great deal of time walking me through the remedy: where to dig, how deep and wide to make the area, how to use gravel and plants, and how to install deeper edging so the water would disperse properly instead of gushing toward my neighbor's property. I asked a lot of questions. Jeremy answered every one patiently, then went over the plan a second and third time because I wanted to make sure I understood. He physically mapped everything out so I could clearly understand what needed to be done. There was no attempt to sell me camera diagnostics, unnecessary cleaning, excavation, or an expensive drainage system. He charged only the $79 trip fee and nothing more. That kind of honesty is increasingly rare. Jeremy could have turned my anxiety into a padded invoice, but instead gave me a practical, inexpensive solution and made certain I understood it before he left. This is exactly the kind of company people hope they are calling. I felt so relieved that I was prompted to reciprocate his honesty by writing this review.

Apparently AO Smith assembler does not know what torque wrenches are for or he was being ugly and decided to make a few peoples lives miserable. Even though the problem is an AOSmith problem they say I might have to pay a small sum to get the exchange water heater. So I have to pay for delivery of the old unit back to Lowes, delivery of replacement to my home, and then pay for installation.....How's that for a 6 year warranty?

Pat the plumber and his team of con artist are nothing but crooks. His slogan is my plumbers smell…read moregood and are on time, but he leaves out the fact that they are also liars and con men. I have worked in many areas of construction and even owned my own contracting company, so my knowledge of plumbing is far more advanced then this clown that came to my house knew. I had granite counter tops installed in my kitchen and since I recently had lower back surgery I needed a plumber to reinstall and connect my plumbing. We called Pat the Plumber and instantly upon arrival to my home he began making statements about how nice and expensive things in my home were including my wife's jewelry and wedding ring. He wreaked of cigarettes to the point that my young children even noticed and he used unprofessional language. After he made me sign a form stating that I will be charged an $89.00 fee just for his estimate he looked under the sink and started making comments like "WOW" and "Oh Man", those comments confirmed my suspicion that he was going to try and gouge us. After a couple of minutes of "working the numbers up" he gave me an $864.00+Tax estimate and told us that it was alot of work and he would "try to get it all done today". His estimate included a new disposal that he claimed was a must for us and that ours would not last more than a few weeks to a month tops, and some how he knew this just by looking at it. I told him that his estimate is ridiculous and we will not have him doing any work, he said "OK, how will you be paying for the $89 estimate." The next day I went and bought $16.00 in PVC parts, called my friend over (to help with the crawling on the ground part), told him how to do it and in just over 45 min. had my plumbing re installed and almost two years later am still using the same disposal (Yes, it took me 2 years to get around to writing this.) If Yelp offered a rating lower than one star then certainly I would use it because these guys do not even deserve one star. You can spot Pat the Plumber trucks easily, they have a huge picture of his head smiling ear to ear and shamrocks on the side. Certainly I would be smiling ear to ear if I had the cash he does from taking advantage of people and selling them parts and services to which they do not need. Pat the Plumber and his clowns are lower than the crap they clean from pipes, stay away from these people.
