I've been here twice but the third time my daughter found a hair in our shared salad . My daughter was apologizing to the server that she found a hair in her salad.. instead of the server apologizing to her she responds with that never happens. Once my daughter got her entrée which was lasagna she found a piece of straw baked into her lasagna, it was not on top. My daughter was embarrassed and didn't want to tell the server what she found so she ate at the other end of the lasagna. my mother showed the waiter what her granddaughter had found.baked into her lasagna . The waiter did not apologize she blamed my daughter for her bad vibes. That is unacceptable. Saturday the 30 my family went around 4pm. The waitress and the Hispanic gentleman filling the waters was so sweet and polite and amazing. The hostess with dark hair is so rude she dosent smile dosent greet you, my grandma asked if she could get another of something and she looked at my grandma, and just took the item form her and got her another one and said NOTHING. She never asked if our meal was good, when she gave the receipt she just plopped it on the table and left! Like your a hostess how dare you be rude to my grandma! She's a frequent person too and felt so out of place and was asking if she did something to her. How dare you make an elderly lady feel that way. We'll take our money elsewhere. If you're having a bad day don't show up with that attitude. If it was my business that girl would get demoted fast. read more

Drove out here on Saturday for a girls lunch. We came at opening and the busser told us their waitress did not show up so he was waiting on further directions. After about 10min, he came out and and "well, I don't know where our waitress is so I am going to help you. I am just a busser so I do not know much". Poor guy. The waitress eventually came in though! SERVICE - Our waitress seemed very frazzled which was expected as she came late. There was another girl helping her fill waters and she was sweet. FOOD Caesar Salad - I feel like you cannot mess up a Caesar. This was solid. Bacon Mac & Cheese - The flavor was on point. It was just a tad watery instead of creamy but it was fine. Chicken Alfredo - We got two of these. The chicken was nicely cooked. The sauce was pretty salty though. Pepperoni pizza - Great flavor but the crust was very soggy. The toppings and cheese just slid off. It did not stick to the dough at all. Lava Cake - We wanted vanilla ice cream. Waitress came out 10min after we ordered it and said they did not have vanilla so we had a choice of espresso or chocolate. Another 10min passed and she finally came out and said "sorry, we are also out of espresso so here is the chocolate". We did not really have a choice but to eat the chocolate. The lava cake was so dry! And there was no lava. Creme Brûlée - The overall custard portion was good. The sugared top was very thick and hard. My friend took her spoon and tried to crack it but it actually took more force than a usual tap. Overall, the whole experience was a bit bizarre. The food was just okay. My boyfriend and I came for a nice NYE dinner and to play some pool as we watched the ball drop. I love that there's this authentic tasting Italian spot so close to where he lives. I had asked for a wine recommendation since I was getting the fish and the Raeburn Chardonnay was absolutely scrumptious. The flavors for all the dishes were on point and the steak was cooked beautifully. I heard the server at another table mention that the creme brûlée was sold out for the sampler and let them choose a replacement, but they hadn't given us the same option which I wish they had :/ otherwise, the service was quick and they were always on top of keeping our glasses full. Make sure to bring some cash if you plan on playing pool/games. There's an ATM nearby if you need it though. Parking is super easy as the restaurant is located within a plaza with its own parking lot. read more

Always trying to go to new places... We landed in Mediterráneo after driving 22 minutes each way. Food was average, nothing really that stands out. But this is okay depending on what you are going for. Ambiance: we sat outside and it was comfortable. Again, nothing special just average. Service was okay. I don't think the place was that busy but the service was less than average for what I have experienced in other places. I am glad we went there and try it out. Will I be back? Not really. Remember, the entire experience for us was just okay but when we go out to dine we are looking for amazing. If you are in the area, please try them out. Happy meals! read more

We have been coming here for many years. We heard they were open again for brunch on Sundays so we thought we would give it a try. Big mistake. The menu is a basic breakfast menu, nothing special there. We had the bacon avocado omelette and eggs benedict. The omelette was dry, no flavor whatsoever with black spots on the avocado. The gal working the bar last night had run out of smiles and general friendliness. She was mostly deep into her phone and people had to wait until she was available before getting a drink or ordering food. Finally visited this establishment while we were in town. We were greeted by a friendly hostess on a very busy night. Waited about 10 minutes before we got to our table. We ordered the ahi appetizer, Tropicale salad, calamari friti and chicken fettuccine. All were excellent, especially the ahi. The presentation of this dish was so creative. Ordered food got the tab & handed the physical Venmo card to pay which fyi is a Visa card. A server name Georgia not only disregarded a minor but also made her feel as if she didn't have the money & somewhat of a thief. Claimed "if it declines once it'll decline everytime" I as her mother can confirm there was more than enough money. I called the restaurant itself and asked if they take it and the man on the phone confirmed they take it and sometimes they have system errors and to try again- which Georgia was clearly too busy to do. She was able to finally pay using tap Apple Pay which isn't that convenient- tap to pay vs a physical card. Advice to the server- next time instead of trying to intimidate and make a minor feel as if she is in the wrong or a criminal try and communicate the way you would if it was a grown adult in front of you. I am a blue cheese dressing snob and their blue cheese dressing was not good. It was just a cheap dressing and no real blue cheese in it. The pizza was ok nothing special to brag about. We were driving through and so happy that we found Mediterraneo. We came in around 4pm and we're able to be seated right away. The in side ambiance is so quaint and intimate. The staff working was SO NICE! Very cheery and I really loved seeing how well they worked together to help each other. And can't forget the food. So good! The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce was perfect. The Mac and cheese was very creamy and I liked that nothing was overly salty. Serving sizes were ample, we both had left overs in which they boxed for us. Topped off the evening with a shared pumpkin cheesecake. If we're ever back in the area I would def come back. read more

Customer service was okay.. could be better, the cooks are miserably unhappy, and the food was awful. The steak was over cooked, dry, tough, flavorless, and 50% fat. Top tier little Italian spot!! Love the location on top of a hill and the food was DELICIOUS!! I had the gnocchi, my wife had the filet mignon. I cannot stress this enough, it was delicious. The waitress (assuming the daughter of the owner based on our conversation) was extremely nice and helpful, recommending dishes and engaging in conversation. One dish that she recommended was the whole brussel sprouts in garlic. It was a little tangy but very flavorful and paired well with the bread. Only downside was they were out of the crème brûlée when we ordered dessert and the trio came out without it. Also, I believe 1 or 2 more servers would be a sufficient staff. We did go on a Saturday night however and it was busy. The owner came by and asked how everything was tasting as well. Will definitely visit again for special events. read more

Nice little place in Alpine. We ate there the other night. Since we're experiencing another Covid surge, we dined outside. Most everyone else did as well. First impression was the waitress who was very friendly. We got our menus pretty quickly. Since we had a hungry toddler we really wanted to give him something while we waited for food. We ordered right away, including an appetizer for him. The waitress must have had too many tables because it was difficult to locate her. She forgot utensils and napkins when we sat down. We still didn't have them when our apps came out. We asked again and again. Finally got them. All in all, The food was really amazing quality and taste. The wait staff is probably just overworked. Very clever to use their outdoor seating to stay within the good graces of the health lords while staying open. I'm happy this place is in my community. The food... We started with a bruschetta. The bread was ordinary and not involved with a nice garlic flavor. The diced tomatoes were fresh but lacked any salt, oil or other enhancement. A few shaved parm slices on the top and let's call it a day. For main, I went with the Gamberoni Alla Diavola. The shrimp was extremely over cooked and dry. The risotto was advertised as "saffron" but lacked any flavor from that most magnificent stigma. The dish had great hopes and potential but fell flat. This place has been here from quite some time and I wish them success. Unfortunately, I found their food to be a disapointment and will not be a return customer. read more
