I've ordered work lunch from here several times and the food is amazing! I love the falafel wrap, it's quite large so I always ask for it cut in half and it makes for 2 solid meals. It is interesting that they use tortillas instead of pita or lavash but I think it actually works quite well. Today I tried the hummus wrap instead of my usual falafel- the flavor was fantastic however the filling was like 80% liquid so it was extremely messy. It probably should have had more hummus and tabbouleh and less tahini to make it more suitable for wrap format. Glad I tried but I'll probably stick to the falafel wrap for now. Mediterranean Wraps is a personal favorite of mine in the area because it offers large portion sizes with delicious well balanced dishes. Our go-to items are the chicken shawarma plate and the chicken shawarma wrap. The plate comes with chicken shawarma on top of chicken stock rice, a side salad with a pickle, hummus, and pita. The chicken is always soooooo flavorful and is not overly salty. The rice is probably my favorite part because it's so luscious and packed with flavor. Every bite warms my tummy. The chicken shawarma wrap has the same yummy on it but with lettuce. Pro tip is to ask them to wrap it in a pita instead of wrapping it in the tortilla. The tortilla is very mid and the first time we had it was disappointed but we had the idea to ask them to wrap it in a pita and it HITS!!! Another pro tip is to ask for extra tzatziki and tahini and they will give it to you on the side. The falafel is also delish if you're in the mood for that. Also they do have inside and outside seating. Sitting inside is not the most enjoyable experience since it's a little stuffy and small but we always take it Togo to eat outside or at Stanford. It travels well! Parking can be difficult but cal ave does have free public lots that you can usually find parking in even during busy times. But regardless you will need to do a short walk to get the the restaurant since the main st is blocked off from cars. Mediterranean wraps is one of my ultimate favorites in the bay. Walked in for lunch with a few coworkers and was welcomed by a delicious smell of lamb cooking up. We ordered the beef wrap wihich came with the beef,lettuce, tomato, and a sauce they have. The service was incredible! You get to sit down and they bring you the food out. We got to try their Falafel on the house which was also delicious and will come back for those. Food was a 8/10 for me as it had a slight gamey flavor but nothing that would make me regret getting it. Nonetheless, delicious! I stopped by while I was in the area recently and not only does the shawarma hold up to this day but the kufta kebabs are out of this world! Falafels still as good as I remembered. This is a cute little shop located close to Stanford with a great owner and mouthwatering options for lunch or dinner. I got the Falafel Plate and the falafels were genuinely some of the best I've ever had. They were crispy and went so well with the hummus, which was also delicious. Mediterranean Weaps is my favorite among the dozens of middle eastern restaurants I have eaten at. The falafel is perfect - crispy on the outside, nicely cooked on the inside and just the right spice. The chicken schwarma is always cooked deliciously. The sandwiches wrapped in a tortilla like flatbread that is grilled with a tiny hint of burn that gives the sandwich an additional flavor that is completely welcome. For two bucks more add potato and eggplant. The service is quick and efficient. Sometimes they will give you a little something extra - a falafel ball or small cup of sweet tea. The restaurant is clean and nice enough for a place that was probably opened a couple of decades ago. If you're anywhere near Palo Also, check out this place! read more

The wrap tasted soft and fresh, the chicken was well-flavored, it was smothered it in a nice lightly creamy dressing, and had just enough lettuce and tomatoes to add a good combination of textures. We also had the Veggie Combo plate which was a nice way to try a little bit of everything. The hummus, falafel, dolmas, baba ghanoush and pita were all perfect! I was craving a good shawarma lamb wrap. What I got seemed to be more of a lamb burrito with limited flavor and produce. I was disappointed by the lack of flavor and texture. When I think of a Mediterranean wrap I think of a pita or flat bread, this wrap was a tortilla. Not a fan at all. The lamb was juicy so and left the bottom of the tortilla wrap wet and greasy.
