Russald Medical for Gastric Sleeve
Emily B.

MedicalMex did a great job coordinating the pick up and drop off from San Diego. Our driver, Jorge, picked us up at the San Diego rental car facility. He loaded our luggage and helped us in his nice, clean car. He was very nice and showed us some things of interest on our way to the clinic. The whole ride in, the streets were clean. When we arrived at the Tijuana Grand Hotel, he parked right out front while we waited for our surgery coordinator, Andrea. She literally welcomed us with open arms. Her intoxicating personality shined. She took us into the medical building , straight to the clinic and to my room. Later, she would escort my spouse to the hotel, which is the second tower, and get him situated with a room while I was having my surgery. Almost everyone spoke English in the clinic. Dr. Pablo Fok Russel is awesome and has a great bed side manner. He and his whole staff took amazingly good care of me and my husband, who was by my side for moral support. I had the gastric sleeve done. I'm 5 weeks post op, and the only discomfort I ever had was the gas, which is not unbearable at all. The all-inclusive charge includes 2 nights in the clinic and 1 night at the hotel. All my liquid meals and medications were included. When I was discharged from their care, they provided a month's worth of post-op medications. We were picked up right at the hotel doors by Carlos who took us safely back to the San Diego airport. We were able to get back over the boarder in the "express" lane. I can't say enough how safe we felt and what great medical care I received. I know they don't only do bariatric surgery. Check them all out for your surgical needs. FYI, I had the gastric sleeve and my gall bladder removed. Zero pain, zero issues.

This is where my arm has stayed that blue/brown pigmant. Where that site injection is, is still numb.

Dr Eves, you said you had no idea what happened during my surgery. Maybe this helps?…read more The posterior cord of the brachial plexus primarily innervates the muscles of the posterior arm and forearm, which can be affected by the motor dysfunction seen in Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS). Key muscles include the deltoid and teres minor (axillary nerve), and the triceps brachii, anconeus, supinator, and extensors of the forearm/hand (radial nerve). Key Muscles Innervated by Posterior Cord Branches: Axillary Nerve (C5-C6): Deltoid (shoulder abduction) and Teres minor (external rotation). Radial Nerve (C5-T1): Triceps brachii and Anconeus (arm extension), and posterior forearm muscles (wrist/finger extension). Upper Subscapular Nerve (C5-C6): Subscapularis muscle. Lower Subscapular Nerve (C5-C6): Subscapularis and Teres major muscles. Thoracodorsal Nerve (C6-C8): Latissimus dorsi muscle. While CRPS is generally a syndrome of autonomic and sensory dysfunction, it often results in muscle weakness or motor impairment (dystonia or tremors) in the affected limb. If CRPS arises from a direct injury to the posterior cord, the muscles listed above may exhibit significant weakness or atrophy. My Emg/ssep studies showed abnormalities of the axillary and radial nerves...hmm, posterior cord? IDK, just sayin...add CRPS...Does that help you remember now?

I've been to a few Chiropractors in my time & a few were ok & some I thought were good but after finding Dr.B & going to him the last year I realized that he was great & the others were just ok. He actually listens to you & focuses on the issues you have. From headaches, back & bone pains & Carpal Tunnel, he's great for all of it & you can tell he cares. And him & his staff don't try to hustle you or sell you a crazy package. He'll advise you when to see him again with no pressure, it's up to you when you can come in & if your getting better & don't need to go for awhile he'll be honest & let you know. His whole staff has been great every time I've gone, their quick & friendly. They accept many insurances too. I've actually bumped into a few friends here & they all love coming here. He's also real good with the neck cracking, so don't be scared. Come get a crack & adjustment then treat yourself & go a couple doors down & get a raspado from the little Mexican shop. Thanks Dr.B & keep up the great work!

I wish they would have told me this when I made the appointment. I saw a PA, Medical assistant and someone that was shadowing. They were unable to answer any of my questions but said there was nothing they could help me with and that the doctor is very conservative. I will need surgery on my buldging disks in my lower back at some point but for now, I will continue living in horrific pain. Oh, by the way, He can't address the spot on my brain but....... he is a brain surgeon???? They offered very limited information, gave me no guidance or support and gave no direction as to what to do next.
