This is me post op i had them different sizes one had 330 cc the other 460cc . I got over the muscle saline i love them they look so natural. The only complaint i have is that when i got the IV they hit a nerve so when i move my hand a certain way or press the area that got poked i get a shock on 3 of my fingers, its really annoying since i have to be careful (i never got an answer for that just a its fine) Other than that i love them. I suggest you have your consultantion in the del mar office i went to both and prefer del mar, they make you feel great! They support the choice you make and reassure you. Coronado made me second guess myself since the lady kept asking me if i was sure thats what i wanted and to let them know if i change my mind. I did have a 5 star and the reason why i changed it to 4 is because i went in on a monday to have some stitches pulled out since they were coming out and they said it was fixed.But i had to pull some more out on wednesday because i still saw some poking out. There was also a remark that was said, the doctor touched my stomach and said all you need is lipo and your good. I understand you wanna promoto but that is not the way to me its rude, i did laugh it off cuz i didnt know what to say. Also i was given the ok to put maderma on my scars, i decided to ask again to be 200% sure, they said not to put it on my opening where the stitch was poking out because it can make it worse. This is the hardest review I've had to do! I had a tummy tuck in October of last year and unfortunately I noticed immediately after my procedure I had necrosis. As a person in the aesthetics industry I can recognize necrosis immediately! Dr Kouli was nonchalant and tried to pull the wool over over my eyes telling me it was "ischemia and that it would just slough off and be fine" it was necrosis and I knew it was he took a seat and started to take me seriously! I ended up with a 2 inch tunnel wound in my abdomen that needed debridement and that I had to pack every other day as a result of his negligence. he's basically made no effort to check on me or to see how I am doing in my recovery process. after many months I decided to call him and let him know that I wanted the scar revised and he agreed to do so thinking there was enough laxity there but unfortunately with the scar tissue buildup the indentations and the fact that I look like I was given a tummy tuck by a chainsaw. I don't think that is possible at this point also I've spoken to a rep in our industry and his surgical nurse is currently on medical leave for the same type of issue and I wonder if he did the procedure on her. I called the office last week to cancel my appointment and was expecting a call on Monday I never received that which is par for the course so now I am currently seeking legal representation and I am going to seek a second opinion on revising my scar. Let's start off by saying this office is Front desk receptionist is so sweet. From the first appointment until my post op appointment, I've had nothing but a 5/5 star experience. The staff is so caring and loving. I felt so safe in their hands. Dr. Kouli performed rhinoplasty on me on Oct 25,2018. When I came in to get more information on the surgeries he performs, he was so confident that he could the problems I was feeling I had with my nose. His nurse was present because I had to be nude for the follow up, she said nothing and did nothing. I was shocked and didn't know what to do; I regret not calling the police. I searched for about 2 years for the right doctor to complete my liposuction. I had been to different consultations in different cities etc, but when I had my consultation here I knew immediately this is where I wanted to have my surgery done! Am not happy with procedure AT ALL. After surgery I got second opinions from many surgeons. all said he there are too many issues my face. When I asked what should be done to fix it they told me the same thing and when I asked dr khouli what he can do to fix the problem he did he said the opposite of what all surgeons said. This is proof for me that he doesn't know what he is doing and he doesn't have skills and He doesn't customize surgery. He does the same thing for everyone and does not work for the framework of the individual. I spoke also to other patients of him who got same procedures and they all have the same issue as me and said they they had the same technique done as me and even though we are different scenarios. - DO NOT RECOMMEND. Had my first consultation here and he seemed to be alright besides him making a sexual comment about my lips. I won't go into further details about that. Besides that, I continued with my surgery with doctor Khouli. Before my surgery I had two different consultation with two different doctors that gave me a diagnosis of what was wrong with my nose (deviated septum and turbinates). I gave this information to Dr. khouli and he said don't worry I will take care of it, all of it. Before Going into surgery and every appointment after I asked him when will I be able to breathe again? He continued to say one year. One year later my nose is so screwed. I don't even remember how it feels to breath from my nose. I wake up every morning with my tongue feeling dry as a sponge and throat congested because I'm breathing from my mouth all night. I came in today to inform him that I was not happy with the results. He charged me 7500 and claimed that he would fix my deviated septum and all that was wrong functionally with my nose. When confronted about him not doing the medical aspect, he reacted by saying he should have charged me 9500 and I should be happy with what it looks like, But I'm not understanding cause he could have mentioned that in the beginning when he said 7500 was good for my septum and turbinates. He claimed that he took care of my turbinates, but they grew back in a year... yet the doctor before Khouli mentioned if i was to medically do my nose again it most likely would be in 10 years. I'm not sure exactly what he did inside of my nose. But now I have a new surgery date next month with a different doctor that mentioned my nose was better before going into surgery than it is now. Dr. Kouli damaged my wife, and she has been in chronic pain for the past 3 years as a result. I tried to get her to file a malpractice case, but as with many victims of malpractice by incompetent plastic surgery, she did not want to subject herself to the humiliation of having her intimate photos used in a court case to be viewed by attorneys, a judge and a jury. His work demonstrated that he was rushed and rough. The result left a clear need for a revision, something common in plastic surgery. This was a legitimate revision request. Dr. Kouli was not available for a very a long time. When we finally got an appointment, he was gruff, impatient, rushed and clearly put out. The smarmy charm was gone. In the outpatient revision he rushed, did not follow proper procedure and in the process he damaged a nerve. Potential clients need to understand that Dr. Kouly is not a board certified surgeon. And when he was called on to conduct a very legitimate revision, he could not be bothered. We were polite and respectful, and he was rude. Do NOT trust this man as your surgeon. Two months before my wedding, I decided to get some Liposculpture on my waist, torso and arms. I was researching doctors in Mexico when I saw an ad for Esthetica in Coronado, so I gave them a call. They were miraculously able to get me a consultation on the same day. The staff were very nice and caring, and Dr. Kouli was charming and honest about what he thought I should or shouldn't do. They were also able to pull some strings and get me scheduled within two weeks. All my fears were alleviated on the day of the procedure and I was treated very well. Don't remember much except them waking me up and telling me it was time to go home lol. Now the next few days were no walk in the park let me tell you, but the doctor and his staff were always there to answer questions and see me if needed. I am now over three weeks post surgery and the results are getting better every day. All my bruising is gone and my waist is looking really small. I still have some swelling as expected, but I have a few more weeks to go before the wedding. I have already recommended Dr. Kouli and his staff to a few friends. When I went into the office for the first appointment for a breast augmentation, Megan the receptionist, was so sweet and nice and answered all my questions. I am very happy that I chose Dr. Kouli as my surgeon. I went to several other consultations prior to choosing Dr. Kouli, and even though he was the farthest away from me, I ultimately chose him because he made me feel very comfortable and his staff was very friendly and helpful. During my consultation with Dr. Kouli I expressed to him that I wanted breast augmentation but did not want to look extremely fake due to my profession. He was very helpful in helping me select a size that met my requirements. He was great at explaining the medical procedure and still made me feel like a person and not a patient number or a specimen for surgery like other surgeons did during consultations. His staff was very friendly and helpful in creating appointments and answering any other questions I couldn't think of previous when Dr. Kouli was in the room. During my pre-op I told Dr. Kouli I was really nervous (because of the twilight procedure, no GA) and he put me at ease telling me I would probably be asleep the whole time but I may be awake and joked about the funny things people say while in this state. I joked back with him I'd bring him some good stories! The day of my surgery, they were able to fit me in earlier and were great at calming my nerves. I don't even remember passing out after the IV, but I woke up to the nurse saying my boyfriend was already there to pick me up and I remember thinking "what? I just fell asleep!" They laughed at my confusion and said they were already done! I felt like I was only asleep for a few minutes! Very glad I chose this method and not GA. They were really great about helping me into the car since I was extremely groggy from the surgery. I experienced the normal amount of discomfort that comes with any surgery, but I had no complications and my scars looked great! And even now, almost 6 weeks later, they are almost gone. My breasts are dropping and fluffing every day and am very happy with my results. My experience with Dr. Kouli and his office were amazing - their fun, light-hearted atmosphere combined with experience made me feel very comfortable and I always look forward to an appointment. I have had a wonderful experience with dr. Kouli and Kim. I met with dr. Kouli 1 year ago and because of the cost decided that i would need to wait. I was looking for a bbl and a mini tummy tuck. I met with a few other surgeons back then as well but already made up my mind that if I can make it happen, he was the surgeon for me. So I got an email from the office about a lipo special they were running back in October, I called to come back in and met with Kim. She made me feel so comfortable and let me know that my guilt and anxiety about doing something so extreme for myself was normal, and that I deserve it. Granted she knew nothing about me or my situation, she made me think, and although I told her at that moment I couldn't spend that amount of money on myself. The next day my husband let me know that now was the time and we're going for it. So just that quick i put my deposit done and had the surgery done on 11/23/16. I needed up getting a bbl with 9 areas of lipo. Although I thought I would be scared to death and feel guilty for life, I went in there with my brave face on and dr kouli made me feel totally comfortable. I felt no pain during the procedure and when I woke up I didn't have any pain until day 3 after. I expected to be bed ridden and miserable, that was not the case at all. I was up and walking around, I even got to help cook thanksgiving dinner for my family. The entire experience exceeded my expectations and so far I couldn't be happier that I went through with it, and that I went with dr. Kouli. He is an artist and from what I can see so far, he molded me the body that I was looking for after 4 children. I didn't end up getting the mini tummy tuck, dr kouli was confined to that I didn't need it and from the looks of it I think he was right. Dr. Kouli and his whole team were AMAZING in every way. Dr. Kouli is so attentive and really cares about his patients. From the moment I met him I felt very cared for and comfortable. That was a huge reason why I chose him. He spent over an hour with me during my consultation answering all my questions and making me feel very safe. He knows exactly what he is talking about and has a lot of experience in many different fields. Even when I called with any concerns or questions after our consultation he got right back to me and reassured me every time. Dr. Kouli's work is amazing and I am beyond happy with my results. after years of considering rhinoplasty i finally took the plunge and looked up different surgeons in san diego. i received a voicemail from kim and her warm and friendly personality is ultimately what made me decide to call back. i had never had any kind of surgery before so i was nervous to take the first step in even setting up a consultation, but she was so informative and outgoing, at the consultation her excitement made me even more excited and positive that i made the right choice. dr. kouli discussed what he planned to do to my nose, and the day of surgery went by as smoothly as it possibly could. jeff, the anesthesiologist was incredible. i was so nervous to be put to sleep as it was my first time, but he called me the evening before and explained step by step what would happen, and on the morning of surgery he was extremely kind and calm and continuously let me know that everything was going good. julie's presence before and after the procedure made me feel very secure and well taken care of. both the staff at the coronado and del mar office are super friendly and thrilled for you, which makes things less nerve wrecking and a lot more exciting. the results are beyond anything i could have imagined. dr. kouli really went above and beyond and made my nose look like something i didn't even know was possible. i'm so happy with the outcome, and i know in a years time the swelling will go down and the final result will be even more amazing. i couldn't be happier with my decision to get rhinoplasty at esthetica of san diego! thank you dr. kouli and staff for changing my life :) read more
