To gain Business , during every Pre Op Meeting : Dr.Marin keep making fake promises and false commitment about result and she is good candidate for this procedure.We made a mistake that we trusted on him blindly without doing our Due Diligence and we are regretting it. I've pretty much wanted my Breast Reduction and Liposuction since I was 16 years old.  When I finally saved the money and wanted to move forward with surgery I found Dr. Marin on Instagram and thought the results looked amazing. I liked his work and I thought it will be worth it going to someone that gets great results. It has been almost 8 months since my surgery and sadly I'm not in love with how the liposuction came out or my nipple on one of my breasts. It looks very uneven and there's a VERY noticeable line where you can see where the liposuction stops and starts.. and one nipple is just really uneven. This has made me feel insecure and helpless. I'm sad because my savings went to this surgery that I have always wanted. I paid too much to not be happy with the results. I can't even wear a bathing suit or any tight clothes. I thought he was a good doctor so I don't know what went wrong. I've brought it up with Dr. Marin but the conversation left me feeling uncomfortable and worse with how I was spoke to. Dr Marin is the Tits! (no pun intended) ;) Honestly though, I don't write a ton of reviews which is terrible since I absolutely read them when searching for just about anything... I had gone in for a consultation with Dr Marin a couple years back to see about fixing a previous breast augmentation. I really loved how he explained everything, talked to me like I wasn't an idiot, and was very realistic about his intentions. When I was 24 I got my first augmentation and while I probably wasn't the best post-op patient I now know there are some things that surgeon could have done differently or explained to me better. Water under the bridge at this point because this review is on how GOOD Marin is not how BAD she was. :) He had many difficulties to deal with when it came to me... Let me list them: Left side had a pocket that was too high and hadn't dropped properly Right side had a pocket that had bottomed out (the implant slipped out under the muscle) Right side had subsequent scar tissue almost up to my collar bone Right side had scaring at the incision site In general Im pretty thin which doesn't leave a lot of natural tissue to cover the implant. That being said, I couldn't be happier with how things turned out! I'm even, he fixed much of the scaring, both sides sit proportionally & most of all I don't feel like my back is tweaked from constantly trying to cover the side that had sunk too low. If you are on the fence about surgery TRUST me, don't go any further... And he and his wife are just a cool ass couple, Amber, his assistant I dealt most with is amazing, and going into the office was never a hassle, I never felt like I was getting sold, he's such a perfectionist with a laundry list of credentials. Only go here if you want to get botched breast augmentation. Do not let Dr. Marin convince you to do a nipple lift! I went to him to fix my breast rupture (he didn't do first procedure). I loved my implants and nipples before but unfortunately a deep tissue back massage ruptured one. He then convinced me I needed a nipple lift. My areolas are now double the size they were before and 2 completely different shapes. The scaring is very bad too but I could live with that. Dr. Marin told me to wait a year so I now write this review a year after surgery and they are just as bad. Then how he handled himself when I voiced my concern with the 2 different shaped areolas and size but that's a whole other story, I have just accepted my botched nipples for now. My experience with a breast lift and augmentation has been amazing. I knew when I met Dr. Marin at my consult, he was the doctor for me. The BEST... I work in the medical field & I was ready to have an explant of my 18 year old saline implants. I certainly did my due diligence after having multiple consultations with local plastic surgeons & I knew immediately that Dr.Marin was the best Board Certified Plastic Surgeon in Southern California to have my explant with for many reasons, but to name a few... 1.
