I went to Blokker on a mission to find two things: Tupperware, or more specifically a Lock n Lock container. I found one, but it's very cheap quality and won't last long unfortunately. I'm already having trouble closing it again. And secondly I was looking for a folding table as an extension to the table on our garden patio. No luck there, they had no folding tables whatsoever :/ Oh well.

They will take care of repairs, in or out of warranty, as well, and they will deliver and install your equipment. They even give you a loaner if your TV needs repairs, now that's service! Back in the day Van Amerongen also used to be the best record store in town with a lot imported/specialty CDs, but with the demise of CDs, that selection has unfortunately gone. Nevertheless, I highly recommend Van Amerongen if you want quality for your money.

You need to bring €10 with you for each load. €7 for the washer (you get a token via a machine) and €3 for the dryer. The soap and softener are included. We met many friendly Americans there and swapped travel stories while we waited. We grabbed a delicious burger from Oh My Bun a few doors up while we waited. We don't stray far while we waited but there was a great feeling of camaraderie with many ppl from different countries. We looked out for each other. We were very happy with our clean clothes!!
