I joined here a few months ago. I didn't lose the weight I wanted however I believe it's difficult to do that with this type of service for several reasons. Nobody you meet with each week is on the same page. I was always on a different phase and was told different ways of eating each week. Even on my last week I was told I should've been on a maintenance phase 4 weeks prior. I just feel it's unorganized and a waste of money. I followed the plan the best I could with being pushed in a different direction each week. I say try a different location or another company. read more

This place has some of the most ignorant people working at the front desk. I called to make a follow up appointment and this person at the front desk was so rude and blatantly bigoted. Mind you, i have been going there (on and off) since 2019. I have never given them a reason to show their bigotry until yesterday. I called to make an appointment and this lady with her co-workers started laughing at me and asked me to put someone that speaks "American" on the phone because she couldn't understand my accent. Really! Yes, I do have an accent and I did lose my voice while on vacation with my 11 nephews and nieces. However, this is the first time that have been told to look for someone else to speak for me. Been with this program for a month and have lost 18 lbs after trying to lose weight for three years. To be completely honest the first two weeks are difficult, the diet is made to reset your metabolism with a combination of low fat type Keto diet which at first scared me. But this is only to jump start your body and honestly I'm a month in and I already feel better. I have issues with my stomach and that's pretty much gone away, no bloating or water weight, no pressure to work out as I work in a very active environment. The program can be a difficult and expensive transition but I went into this as this is my last chance before taking drastic steps and was all in. I go to the appointments, I do what I'm suppose to do and spend the money on the proper food and I'm 18 lbs down as of today following the program and losing more daily. I would carefully consider doing this program. You do lose weight. However, they did not explain the risks. I lost a lot of hair. I went to a specialist who told me that losing a lot of weight fast will contribute to hair loss. This was never explained. There was not enough support with food ideas, shopping, prep, cooking, etc. I did not feel the artificial sweeteners (except stevia) and prepared snack and other foods were healthy or helpful. I have tried every weight loss program under the sun! In a 5 year span I gained 30-40lbs. I was disgusted seeing my sizes going higher and higher. I signed up for Medi. I've followed the program to a T for 14 weeks now and I've lost -37lbs!! I'm just amazed at the results and how quickly it's happened!! I UNFORTUNATELY didn't get the big weightloss (10 lbs the first week) that most see because I have not been eating things like sugar, carbs (pizza, fries, bread etc)--Start weight 190 for my 5'2 frame-I am considered 60 pounds over weight (so there is weight to be lost!!) for myself I regret spending the money because I know I could have lost the weight on my own like I did a few years ago. I was really hoping this was different and that the injections and supplements would help. I am holding myself accountable because of the money I already spent on medi weightloss (and there is no refund for the weeks if I stop) and the weigh ins help. I should have just read my book again (MIRACLE METABOLISM)--REDUCED MY FAT INTAKE--JOINED weight watchers and I would have lost the same amount----and I could have used the money towards something else (like lipo!!!)--- wellness phase happens when you reach you goal weight --my goal weight--which will not happen in 12 weeks--so they will probably try to get me to join for more weeks. Currently I have to stay 75%protein, 5% carb, 20% fat.--I would guess at wellness phase it would turn to 60%protein 20% carb 20% fat to maintain. We all know that any quick weight loss may turn out to more weight gain later on. Slow and steady is the way to do it. For me though I don't want to pay $1,000 and slow and steady are my results when I can do slow and steady on my own. If you are the type of person that can't do it on your own then this is probably worth the money. ---also if you bruise you may want to skip the injections. B6/B1 go into the buttocks and B12 in your arms. I am writing this review because CONSUMERS should have this information given to them before they start the program and I feel that a lot of the reviews are positive for medi-weightloss because it is a great program for someone who needs the medical supervision---even then I would only go by what your own doctor recommends---I have only met nurse practitioners and not a doctor. I believe in low carb for weight loss and better health & new research shows its importance. read more
