Since she's been here, I don't mind dodging through Medford's traffic to come to this office. I do have to be honest with you, if I was a new patient and reading the newest reviews here, I would be quite anxious about coming here for the first time. However, the good news is, I've never had any of the negative experiences as described by others. On my most recent visit, it was due to a medical scare. Not life or death scare, but serious enough for me to see the doc. My call was answered right away and she was able to squeeze me in to see Dr. T. the very next morning since she was off that day. I was given a choice to see a different doctor that very day, but since I wasn't dying I opted to wait for the morning. The office normally opens at 9:00 AM that day, they squeezed me in at 8:15 AM. It meant a lot to me that they were willing to go the extra mile for a sick patient. Most of the tests can be done in the office. Blood works are done around the corner of the building at Winchester Hospital Drawing Station. Tests they cannot do in the office will be done within the Winchester Hospital Organization. Dr. Tahmassian is an absolute angel, so is Ann Marie (her RMA), and the administrative ladies. They are all very professional and considerate to what you need, and what you are going through. In my opinion, communication is what makes or breaks a doctor's visit. Whether it is a call-back, a refill, rescheduling an appointment, patient portal messaging, or simply one-on-one conversations with empathy. I am extremely satisfied with the level of communication here. Plenty of parking in front of the office. However, it is not free. You need to go to one of the two machines and put in your license plate number. It's 25 cents for every 15 minutes, cash or card. By the way, the machine closest to their door is always broken.

In 2025, Margaret moved away and I had to choose another therapist. Everyone there is great but, I choose Kate Mulligan because of her scheduled hours, and I feel like I won the lottery. She is such a Zen person. She has a positive energy, and her messages are so relaxing that I have fallen asleep during a massage. When she finds a tight spot, she works it out until it is loose. When I leave my body and spirit is in a deep state of relaxation. Kate is the best. Shirley A.

I'm very happy to share a review of Bodyography! I've been dying to get a massage - literally told…read moremy masseuse, Michelle, that I was in DIRE NEED of a massage. I sit all day for work and my back has been all sorts of messed up. I had actually never heard of Bodyography until my mom got me a gift card for Christmas, she found the center on Yelp. Booking was simple on their website, you just choose your service and it shows you by day which times are available. Enter your info and voila! I chose a 90 minute massage which might sound excessive but I'm so glad I went with the 90 minute and not 30 or 60. Michelle did an amazing job on a full body massage, with extra attention to my aching back. She was very good about checking in with me to make sure that the pressure was ok. And she gave a fantastic food massage with peppermint lemon lotion too! They use coconut oil which is great for the skin. I came out of the room on cloud nine, and it was very hard to go back to work for the afternoon! I highly recommend Bodyography and am so glad that I gave them a try!

The facial was no more than light massaging around the cheeks and chin. Not sure what made it toning and it is most definitely not worth the $125 price tag they typically throw on it. My technician, Rachael, was great! I wear medical devices that's can't be taken off and she was very accommodating around them which I very much appreciated. The massage felt good but for the price fell short for me. You enter into a bay that is divided with a curtain from the customers next to you. While you're paying for your $175+ massage you can hear the conversations going on around you. Upon finishing you're lead right to their "wellness room" where they show you all of their products and supplements they have for sale and then led to the front desk to sell you on packages immediately. I think the experience would have been more worth it if I hadn't seen my money being thrown in their "upscale" tactics like solid black toilet paper, custom towels that you can see until you're getting re-dressed in dim lighting, and everything they own being labeled with their logo. I would have preferred a cheaper massage for what we're all there for - lympathic drainage.

He was able to deconstruct my standing and walking posture and the way I sat at my desk and figure out it was a case of sciatica, not a calf pull. The pressure I was putting on the sciatic nerve through the low back down to the calf due to incorrect posture was the root cause. No one had made these connections before and long story short, I am able to run five miles now without pain. In addition he's accessible by text if I have a question as I don't live in Marblehead. I had been dealing with fertility issues for the last year, and was experiencing unbearable stress and anxiety. After just one visit with Kuan I felt the tightness in my chest going away and my anxiety disappearing. After just five visits I was pregnant. :) I continue to see Kuan every week. The experience is always very calming, and restful, and balancing. The office is always impeccably clean and welcoming. They have a huge selection of books in the waiting room that you can borrow on a weekly basis. They have bottled water. They have soothing relaxation music in all the rooms. The treatment beds are clean, comfortable, and heated. Kuan himself could not be any nicer or more accommodating. He starts each visit discussing your current state and makes adjustments to your treatment as necessary. Each acupuncture session also includes an acupressure massage (which is wonderful.) You don't have to be "into" every principle of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Qi, energy meridians, etc in order to feel the effectiveness of acupuncture. In fact, I started my visits as a pretty big skeptic. But whatever Kuan does, works! He helped relieve my stress and made me feel more balanced. And most importantly: he helped me get pregnant! I'm continuing to see him once a week and I look forward to every visit. My best friend has also started going to Tai Chi Acupuncture & Wellness Center and she also loves it. I look forward to trying some of their other services soon, like massage and reiki
