He gave good treatment and I responded with good results. His treatments worked and made my life much more.....enjoyable and less painful. My health insurance was in his network and that is how I came to him. His receptionist, Lisa is a sweetie and a gem. She made it a bit less anxious and painful to go there. Really! That's how pleasant and nice she is. Appointments are easy to make and to schedule. I was in and out in under 30 minutes which was appreciated. I would def go back again to him if I was in pain. They're all very nice but "nice" only gets you so far. When I go to a chiropractor, I'm going for 2 reasons; 1. Relief; and 2. To get a LOT of questions answered; That's just how I am. When I go to any doctor, I want to know... 1. If the doctor can comprehend precisely what I'm going through; 2. How it got that way based on the info I gave him/her; and 3. What can be done about it; and 4. If it's truly rehab'-able, or if it's a forever maintenance kind of thing. I want someone who not only can answer my questions with an air of expertise, but who also WANTS to answer my questions and WANTS me to REALLY understand what s/he understands the path of healing/restoration that is available to me. Dr. Michael Pendolino is GUILTY of all of the above. First, his reception Lisa is, how do I put this?, kind of like a big sister/young mother. She's very sharp, great with details and sorta thinks to remind you of everything you need to know in case you forget it. Which is good because I can lose my socks on my way from the bedroom to the kitchen. Dr Pendolino has a very sharp, engaging mind. You can tell, without a doubt, that he's extremely knowledgeable and exceptionally passionate about his work. To-date, I have only done spinal decompression here. If you don't know what it is, Google it, but it's a fairly recent, proven therapy that helps restore healthy disk function. So, if you have collapsed and/or bulging disks, or pinched nerves, etc, a few pulls on this Star-Trek looking thing and you start to notice some "interesting" relief. My head just wasn't ready to believe I felt better so quickly from a collapsed disk I'd had in my lower cervical. Spinal decompression is not covered by insurance and it can be a bit pricey but they have a financing company available and, even with a couple of credit blips, I was able to get credit instantly. Believe me, if your back/neck is hurting because of disk problems, this is totally worth it! I can't yet speak for his regular chiro mojo but, if you are suffering from back/neck problems, I strongly suggest you contact Dr. Pendolino and set up an appointment for a consultation with him. He'll answer all your questions to your complete satisfaction. There is also a phyiscal therapist and acupuncturist in the office, and a massage therapist coming soon.

They are commited to your overall success through weightlifting, cardio, and nutrition. They are excellent at troubleshooting aches and pains or possible past injuries. One week I was worried as I had a sore hip and I thought it may be the end of my workouts. The trainer was able to work around my hip allowing it to rest and repair, while maintaining a work out for the rest of me! My times at the gym are at 6am. I find that if I work out first thing in the morning I approach the rest of my day with a healthy and happy attitude. I also need this time slot as my family is still asleep. Like most mom's once the kids are awake, my time is no longer mine and a minute is hard to find. GISFW in Woburn has made a significant impact upon my life and my family's life. Not only have I lost weight, but I have become stronger, stand up straighter, have a clearer mind, and feel so much better about myself and life. The owner, Christine, and the two fitness trainers, Laura and Denise, are dedicated to each and every woman who walks through the door. You are greeted by name every time. Christine, Laura and Denise get to know you as a person - your physical strengths and weaknesses - they keep track of who has a bothersome left shoulder, a sore right ankle, a rehabilitating knee, they know when it is time to move you up on weights, and that the woman next to you should be using a slightly lower weight. Their keen eye will have you adjusting a grip, or moving a little more one way or the other to insure you are getting the best workout. The same goes for those days when you feel as if you can barely walk in the door, they greet you warmly and guide you through your 30 minute strength exercises for what is right for you on that day. This is not just exercise. There is constant checking up on nutrition, what did you have today, could you have changed it to make it better, what are you planning to buy at the grocery. Christine offers 'after hour get togethers' that have included - cooking demonstrations, let's just talk about how to break that plateau, working out with pain - chiropractors and other practitioners speaking on these topics, and even a make-up session with a professional make up artist. The group even has done annual service projects - collecting and sending goods to US service men and women, and running in Woburn Boys and Girls Club annual run. The GISFW franchise stresses accountability. Each session is limited to four women, so you have a specific reserved time. It is possible to change 'your' time but it is best to stick to a regular schedule. And the dreaded 'weigh in' - necessary, and always handled in confidentiality. I highly recommend trying the studio with one of the specials offered throughout the year. You may consider it to be pricey, but I have found that the quality and my own personal results are beyond the annual fee. Try it out. All you have to lose are a few pounds and some sweat!

I'm 36 and have been dealing with hormonal acne that has worsened over the past few months, particularly around my menstrual cycle. I went to my PCP and was falsely diagnosed with a staph infection on my face. I was provided ointment which my face then had an allergic reaction to. I was referred to dermatology, but in the meantime reached out to Kim and she talked me off the ledge. She correctly diagnosed me with rosacea and perioral dermatitis and assured that she could help. Girl was she right! I was enrolled in the Face Reality program and it started to help IMMEDIATELY. Karina has been extremely thorough in finding exactly the right products for my face, and it has calmed down miraculously in just 6 weeks.
