On the Negative side: Once I reached my goal, and actually surpassed it, they gave me a paper document that was supposed to by the base of the rest of the plan for the rest of my life, I guess. It was fairly generic and turned out to be essentially useless. I went back to KETO, added OMAD and IF and got back to the goal weight on my own. For follow-up visits, they were IMPOSSIBLE to CONTACT by phone or text once I was done with the initial program. I wanted to get one last weigh-in with their scale system to get a print out of my sustained weight and that just never materialized, then quarantine hit. I was completely forgotten and noticed that they moved people around their locations around metro Boston. Conclusions: Yes, they will get you to your goal weight if you stick to their program. It's basically calorie/portion control with some detox and weight loss supplements. If you follow the program, it's almost impossible to fail, BUT once you are done, their "lifetime" membership seems to evaporate as they become nearly impossible to deal with or connect with. I had to at times literally drive down there and walk in just to get a follow up weigh in. Once you are there, they are very friendly, though. I want just one last visit, as I said above, and I don't really need their help anymore as I have figured things out for myself. If you need help and are stuck at a plateau for 6 months or more, then go right ahead and use these folks, if they come back online with their new name. BUT, don't expect any long-term help from them as they are currently constituted. IF they come up with a genetically customized diet for you, then give that a try. I initially was very happy with their results until they handed me that last sheet, and then I realized I was on my own again, and the "Lifetime" membership was just a way of making the very high base fee sound justified. If I hadn't plateaued, I would never have needed them, though. (also: expect no lasting connections here; people are always being shifted around and their hours are not the best)

I…read moreate ~600-700 calories a day, only two meals a day for 60 days, which made going back to eating normally a very tricky and impossible task to continue with the weight loss. That being said, I am not against NEFL. If someone needs to lose weight QUICK, then it may be a good move. They advertise 25-40 lbs lost in 60 days and I was exactly 25lbs lighter after the 60 days. Unfortunately the weight couldn't stay off once I went back to eating 1,500-2,000 calories a day. My only BIG issue with the program is the cost...over 2 grand for the program. I recognize that they say it is "comparable" with other diet plans like it, but they never say what diet plans they are comparing against. Most importantly, I don't think that justifies over-charging people for it. It would be a huge differentiator if they could be less expensive than other programs. I think more people would try it if it were more affordable for the average person. In the program, you will get three bottles that will help you feel less hungry (suppress 'starvation mode' in your brain). You get a booklet to track your food (they limit the food to 300-400 calories per meal), pink Himalayan salt you have to eat every morning and a number you have to text once a day with your weight. That's basically the day-in-the-life of this over $2,000 program. I can't imagine the profit margin they must make.

WW works but virtual users must know…read more.. I joined the on-line version of WW Freestyle in January of 2019. I met with my doctor and set a goal. Doctor Monica was very happy with my choice to join WW. I obtained my goal and even lost a bit more within about 6 months. I was overjoyed and looking forward to being a "Lifetime" member with WW and receiving that new charm ! Well that all came to a sudden, screeching halt when finding, after searching relentlessly for answers, there's quite a catch to it. What unraveled was unfair and unjust to all virtual users to which I found when inquiring on Connect. Once I hit my goal I inquired how to become a "Lifetime" member with pride and excitement. What is "Lifetime" you ask - well long story short - that is when you hit your goal and stay within 2 lbs. Should you do so you become a "Lifetime" member and gain the perk of paying ZERO for the membership because you've earned it... as long as you stay 2 lbs within your goal weight and weigh in once a month in a classroom setting. Nice right? Well the catch, I found, is that you must join a class setting (actually did and enjoyed it) to weigh in monthly to confirm your weight. That would be easy enough and not a problem until I found, AFTER calling to confirm what my actions/process would need to be when speaking to a WW rep, that I had to actually LOOSE THE LAST 5 LBS. IN A CLASSROOM SETTING!! I explained what I had confirmed with the first WW rep over the phone (with date of call) and that if I lost 5 more lbs it wouldn't be healthy for me. The "rules" were the consistent response. I also explained that I had just gone to my doctor for my physical and she said no more weight loss and I even had a note from my doctor, per the direction of the first WW rep - who was so kind and had me on hold for a bit while she confirmed with her supervisor - and they both said I shouldn't gain the 5 lb back because that's not the WW way and they and WW want me to celebrate my accomplishment. Albeit said, the others told me she AND her supervisor were wrong and they would be re-educated. I was pretty upset and questioned my options - asking if I should gain the 5 to loose in the class setting to obtain "Lifetime" and was told they didn't "advise" that and after weeks of back and forth I was offered 3 months free but no Lifetime - to which I worked very hard to earn. I declined the offer and against my doctor's request I'm going to have to go with my only true option - to gain the weight back (instead of loosing an additional 5 to which is totally against my doctor's orders) in order to loose it WITHIN Weight Watcher's unknown rules/guidelines to virtual users. Now know that the last supervisor/rep that I spoke with said that they (WW) acknowledges and has received numerous outreaches from virtual users about "Lifetime" they (WW) are "working on it for our virtual users." Where that will lead I'm unsure and what that does for those of us that are already a part of the virtual WW family... well, sadly... nowhere. So please be forewarned and otherwise good luck and enjoy this amazing journey to a healthier new you - you're worth it!

I even called, and customer service said they couldn't do anything. On top of that, every message I sent through chat took about two days to get a reply, which made the process even more difficult. I'm not using the program, yet I'm stuck paying. The policy feels unfair and not customer-friendly. Overall, not supportive and hard to get out of once you sign up.
