I missed my second appointment because they don't send you a text or email with a link to join-- after calling the office, I confirmed you use the original link from your first appointment-- except I don't remember being told that and every other doctor I've been to sends you a link for each telemedicine appointment. The admin assistant was furthermore rude when I explained my confusion with this system. There also is no way to you directly call or message your doctor - you need to leave a message with the front desk. For these two latter reasons (especially the rude staff), I would recommend going elsewhere.

Why we were late. $200 for 12 mins ($20 co-pay) and my child had to answer for MY shortcomings / inability to arrive on time??? The class was small - 5 kids, and the instructor Jess was able to give each of them individual and group attention. My daughter came home everyday telling me about the fun she had - art, reading, singing, playing - you name it! One week was rainbow themed and the other under the sea themed. We're probably going to have to buy the book "Clark the Shark" since she loved it so much. My favorite thing about Puzzle Pieces is you can tell the staff care about the kids and are not forcing them to comply - instead following the kids leads. That's huge in the Autism services world and honestly this is the first place I have found that attitude at. They definitely live "connection not compliance" and meet the kids where they are. I've heard from parents of the other kids in this group that OT, PT, and Speech at Puzzle Pieces is great too. So so so happy we found this gem and will share the word with other parents of Autistic kids. I'm neurodivergent too & proud. So many centers are awful treating kids like less than, not letting them stim, and other awful. I will never put my kid through that - despite whatever pressure insurance/society puts on us.

I do question her intelligence and competency, however, and ability to fully adhere to ethical behavior. I mean I walked in one day one and told her exactly who I was, a man who had not only graduated as valedictorian of my college class Suma cum laude, but who had also passed a competency based State exam and had work as a licensed counselor in a DPH funded healthcare facility. Yet she didn't realize that I would not only recognize substandard care, but that I knew how to address it!!! What does that say about her? She even laughed when I described some of the abuse I had experienced! While I have the capacity to forgive, I feel a responsibility to warn others about her character.

So it's basically like a first come first serve but not really because even though I did my intake when there was therapist and wasn't my fault they weren't in that day I lost my spot. They refuse to let you make an appt than waste day when no one there and unless you just have days to waste and show up hoping someone there your probably going to wait a long time to see someone. If they were like most places and let you actually make appointments probably wouldn't be a issue. And they said it takes over a month of seeing a therapist before you can get medication even if your already on medication. Snail mail. Today I called because I canceled my appointment twice via their automated email to confirm or cancel. The last time I had to cancel 3 times and they said they didn't get it. Soi called to ensure it was canceled and to reschedule. She did that tgen proceeded to tell me I had an outstanding balance of $40. I told her this was the 6th time I had this conversation. And said again, you send me the bill I will pay it! She said we sent you the bill and you never pay! So I said this is bullshit and tried to continue, but she shut me off and I'm canceling your appointment and hung up. I have been told on 3 different occasions that they sent me the bill. And guess what a week later I get in the mail. Pay it right away as I have payed all my bills for the past 50 plus years. She basically called me a liar. And then became offended because I said bullshit. If the care wasn't so good I woul drop them like a hot potato. I gave outstanding credit because all my bills are paid before they are due. I am on my second counselor. The first one helped me a great deal. Becket taught me a great deal about integrating past lessons by creating a ritual to commemorate my healing from cancer. Beckett was a wonderful counselor who protected me from myself. Kiley is helping me learn many techniques to ground myself, and has always taken excellent care of my needs. Whenever I reported a ln issue to her she took care of it immediately! I do so appreciate the attention. I feel somehow safe, that even though I can't yet see a possible way out of my current mental condition I have some trust that my work with Kiley will bring me some measure of clarity about what has been going on with me and what I need to do to become more stable.
