I had been was told on a previous visit that Mondays and Tuesdays during the day are very crowded but the two times I was there in the middle of the night there was no wait time at all. And of course the lack of traffic makes a difference when you're in pain. I was seen 10/28 by Dr. Salin and he was extremely competent, clear, calm, and friendly, a real mensch. The nurse, Jared, was also great. We are lucky to have this facility right here in Okemos!

I have called Red Surgery Center every Friday since October and have been repeatedly not responded to, lied to, and misled by the staff. specifically, the check is in the mail, we will overnight the check, it's not us it's the corporate office in Texas......it is now January 2025 and I have not received my refund last week when I called I was told I would have the check this week....its Sunday and no refund. When I told them that I was going to file a complaint with the state licensing agency I was told if I do that I would not get my refund at all. So bottom line if you have pay any portion of your procedure I would not recommend going here.

First, the staff is pleasant. They greet you when you walk in and the place looks like home rather than a cold sterile Doctors Office. I was greeted twice and taken into a room right on time. I think they are careful not to overscheduled people which I really appreciate. The MA was kind and cheerful and very personable. She took my vitals and did the preliminary questions. Next came the PA, who sat and listened to my story, asked questions and took her time. That was extraordinary. She was thorough and easy to talk to. I've been back several times and each has been a great experience. Staff always is at the ready and completely professional to deal with. Everyone here is friendly, professional and speedy. The nurse who started my IV did it in the hand which is a difficult and usually painful place to put it. I hardly felt it all, which is amazing! What a pro! The next day I could hardly see where it had been located. The nurse anesthetist came to see me as well as the other nurse in the procedure room and the doctor as well. My husband and I have been in several surgery centers and it usually takes forever (I'm talking hours) for the physician to see you after the procedure and discharge you. Not here! They are so busy they have to be efficient to stay on time. My procedure was at 8:30 and I was discharged at 9:35. Unbelievable! We will be back.
