We had a moment of confusion concerning my gender, but the Medical Staff was only unfamiliar with my paperwork dilemma. ("Is this an Insurance form or a Medical Form?" is the sort of question a Non-Binary person has to ask when there is only a binary checkbox and it is almost never labeled with the correct terminology. Obvs, nobodies fault stuff like that happens all the time. :) The Medical Assistants were all quick, efficient and genuinely pleased to be of service! They got me in early for my appointment too. I won't say my Doctor's name, but they were openly and respectfully curious as to how they might be of service to a Transgender Person, when so often the past told a different story. :( My Doctor addressed my every concern and meeting with them was very pleasant. The fish tank next to the check-out desk has an _Actual_Literal_Sea_Urchin_! They are very black, except for their orange rude part, and about nine inches across. The Staff Person at the check-out desk was friendly and enthusiastic! They walked me through every step of the check-out process with a smile! The Medical Assistant thanked me for coming in today! I am totally 100% assured that they will follow up with me at every opportunity and that our relationship will continue to be successful and pleasant.

Wrong prescription was sent to pharmacy…read more Was on hold for a total of two and a half hours, to be told a nurse would call me back. She never did, went there the next day in person and spoke to a nurse practitioner (Beth)who changed the prescription. Her attitude was horrible, told me I was rude for asking to speak with someone in person. She said that my situation was not an urgency, and that it was rude to show up in person to ask for the correction to be made. Then she went on to claim that the reason behind their ineptness was lack of employees. Let me be frank, she is an awful person with a passive aggressive attitude who should not be allowed to speak with patients. Please avoid this place

She is friendly, really listens to her patients, goes out of her way to avoid prescribing medication when any physical, herbal, or other solution is available. Many of my friends, colleagues, and various people I have met are patients of Dr. Spalding's and they all have rave reviews too! I have heard tons of horror stories (not all were actually HORROR stories but you know what I mean, bad/rude/annoying experiences) from people about their doctors, never have I heard one about her; and since I am already a patient I don't have to worry about trying to get on her new patient list- I've heard she's booked solid! But if you are looking for a new family doc for yourself or your family, trust me that she is definitely worth giving a call- and if need be, a wait! Dr. Eaton, another doctor in that office, is also fabulous- if Dr. Spalding's patient roster is indeed full, you would be just as smart to try and get on Dr. Eaton (also a female).

The simple fact that she has a form-letter for something like this should tell you all you need to know about Dr Yoon and her medical practice. Avoid.

Dr. Yoon dropped my husband and I after over ten years and her reason was " communication…read moreproblems"...that is ironic considering the fact that she failed to communicate that I had been diabetic for over five years without her communicating that fact to me along with my A1C going as high as 8. She has made some snide remarks about me personally that had nothing to do with medical visit. I had asked her if she would check my ears since I was having dizziness like positional vertigo in which she didn't check them. I also had foot pain in which her advice for me was to lose weight. I am diabetic and I feel it is important to not ignore foot pain. After sending her a message on MySparrow she finally referred me to a Podiatrist but then dropped me as a patient. So if you want a Doctor that listens to your health issues since you know your body better then any Doctor does then you don't want her. Dr. Yoon also broke Doctor patient confidentiality when she told me about my sibling being diabetic and my sibling doesn't have Dr. Yoon as her Doctor she has Dr. Marinas...Dr. Yoons associate Doctor so Dr. Yoon had no business telling me about my siblings medical issues.

This Doctor kills patients. He should be in prison. During a 2 year period, he watched my kidney…read morefunction drop from 100% to 58% and didn't tell me. He kept me on the drug that was causing the serious damage. During that same period he told me I was so healthy I didn't need an annual physical any more. When I got curious and asked for the results of the blood tests he did do, he refused to give them to me and when I asked his receptionist she likewise refused. I didn't persist or know that I could get them directly from the lab.
