Since day one my mother and others I've seen for these years are treated so lovingly with dignity, care and much respect. The point of this review is to share why it's such a wonderful facility. Its because of all the employees that work there. I want to take the time to mention all of these beautiful workers. Each of them are focused and have personal high integrity. It's not just a job to them. For instance a CNA name Joanna once told me, "I work from my heart," and she truly does The other CNA's that deserve high mention are: LuzGraciela, CruzKatayna, Maria, April, Tatiana Shevchenko, Steven Legho in the dining room, Jackie (RNA) . Not to forget to mention Mike Adams Kitchen Dietary Supervisor, and everyone who works hard in the kitchen. Caroline (RNA) too! I want to mention Reggie Tamon Activities Director and Myrna Anderson who truly keep smiles on all the residences faces. Denise LVN too, (I don't want to leave anyone out!). Michelle Staggs - Social Services Director. She really brings a quiet calm to things. Chris - Dir. of Rehab and Bob -Sppech Pathologist. Dan Rojas - Infection Prevention. And in Laundery: Amada,Janet and Michelle. Armando - House Keeping Supervisor and Alejandro and Fernanda. Gretchen Ortizo - Head Nurse. Gilda - Treatment Nurse. Receptionists: Kate and Maria. And last but never the least Mike Falco - Administrator. The reason I put the spotlight on all of these employees is to emphasis that all of them bring calm, peace and amazing love and care. For my first birth Lauren really stepped up to help me meditate through the contractions when I started to panic. During my recent second birth, she helped me stretch and move around to reposition my baby and help him move down. She also can take photos/videos of the birth if you want and took the most beautiful photos for both of my children! Overall she's super knowledgeable, wants to advocate for you at whatever level you're comfortable with, and just generally helps everything go more smoothly. What a wonderful resource to have a professional facility and a caring staffing available 24…read morehours/7 days a week, to serve our community's pets and their family members. VMSG located in San Juan Capistrano really understands how traumatic these unfortunate visits could be and they take everything into consideration. We had to bring our Cavalier King Charles in for 24 hour emergency visit around 1 am. We called ahead as they recommend, they answered, and upon arrival the staff was waiting for us, ready to take her right into treatment. The doctors and especially the front desk staff member, Lynne, kept us updated with the treatment process and prognosis and explained all of our options with caring and compassion. Lynne was very good at answering all of our questions and concerns allowing us to make the right decisions at the right time. We're very grateful that we were able to take our little loved one home afterwards to recover. This is a complete facility with all Diagnostics being performed on site including the CVCA Cardiology clinic next door. They provide clean restroom, beverages and even snacks in their waiting area for the family members.

I was preparing for the worst. 4 days in the ICU, a plasma transfusion, around the clock fluids, pressors to keep his BP up, and a whole pharmacy of meds later... he is HOME and recovering great. They told me his kidney levels were dangerously high on intake and by discharge they were completely normal. I still can't believe it. Special shoutout to Dr. Seo who was working the day Leo was at his worst. He called me Monday afternoon to tell me to come in because Leo was deteriorating. I will never forget that conversation. He fought for my dog when I genuinely thought we were saying goodbye. And to Dr. O'Donnell who oversaw his recovery and gave me incredibly clear, honest updates the entire time, even when the news was hard to hear. They were transparent every step of the way, gave me itemized estimates before each new day. If your pet is having an emergency and you're in OC, go here. They have a board certified critical care specialist on staff (not every ER does) and it makes all the difference for cases like Leo's. Forever grateful to this team. They gave me my boy back.

I will say this, so far, it's going extremely well. The staff at my house is helpful and caring. They really go out of their way to make the people here feel comfortable & that in itself is truly appreciated, Esp bc I had serious fear and doubt about coming here at all. I've been pleasantly surprised at the level of care by the house staff. In particular.. April, Ivan, Tammy & Sutter have been a huge source of help in my treatment. I can talk to them about anything ( & I have had multiple meltdowns) & always receive a supporting conversation leaving me feeling very positive about the experience regardless of how uncomfortable I may be, feeling my feelings. Theo whom is my case manager is exceptional at his job. He is kind and very resourceful in all the aspects I ask of him. Like helping me with SDI, Doctor appointments and special requests- great listener and easy to talk to which is highly appreciated Brian my therapist is incredible at what he does. He is so well balanced calm and smart! I'm learning great EDMR & DBT Skills which have been a life saving tool in this process. Not using cannabis as a crutch was very difficult at first, I've used this for anxiety for a decade - Brian has truly helped me regulate my intense emotions through great breath work and other tools , Like EDMR Therapy . The counselors are lovely friendly and attentive , I truly have no complaints , I'm extremely committed to my healing so knowing these professionals care is very nice. I can really only speak from the mental health program which has been fantastic for me.. I put in a request to extend my stay because of the positive impact this is having for me. I attribute that to the people who work here completely. This review is from my personal experience. It has been a breath of fresh air for me. If you are struggling I would recommend trying this .

I wanted to take the time to leave a glowing review for Dr. Berschauer and his staff…read more We came into Healing Hearts around 8pm on 8/8 to unexpectedly say goodbye to our family dog, who had been with us for 13 years. I was devastated at the possibility that this was going to be the outcome, and Dr. Berschauer and his staff made the pain of losing a pet and all of the emotions that came with it feel just a tiny bit more bearable. Their bedside manner, the way they treated us, and especially the way they treated our dog meant so much to us. Moments like these are incredibly hard, and I'm just so thankful that this was the place we chose to go, even though there were other facilities much closer to us. We never felt rushed & Dr. Berschauer took the time to make sure we understood why he believed it was the right decision given our dog's physical state and the pain he was in. His kind words and the way the entire staff cared for us made it feel like such a peaceful transition for our dog. We left obviously heartbroken and incredibly emotional, but also at peace knowing that he was surrounded by us and was able to take his last breath peacefully. It never felt clinical or like we were just in a room waiting for something awful to happen. They gave us the time and space to say goodbye. Thank you so much to Dr. Berschauer and your entire staff. It meant more to us than you probably realize to have that time with him and to be there when he took his last breath. We will always be grateful for the kindness you showed our family during one of the hardest moments we've ever had.

There were just a few others there and all were equally upset. Our animal was is so much pain, and we didn't know why. We found them online through Maps and were a little hesitant due to the low reviews... I do understand now we will not be returning. We went to Animal Emergency of South Orange County. They were also busy but treated us with kindness, professionalism, and care. Their review is much different this evening. Compassion and care go a long way... Especially when a family member is hurt.

Michael, my therapist, was the first therapist I feel understood me and gave me many tools to move forward in my recovery. The other case manager and therapist Ligi and Nicole who ran groups were excellent! All of the techs on staff (Mo, Dominic, Dave, Bobbie, Greg, Elizabeth, Tim, Matthew and Jose) were knowledgeable, helpful and just great humans. Every single person was outstanding! I cannot say enough good things about the people there. My 4 stars is due to some issues I had in what I saw as a breakdown of communication overall. John, the director of operations, was understanding and attentive to my concerns. I know it's a work in progress but many times it didn't seem that the left hand knew what the right was doing. There were a few issues with me being included in outings, travel to outings as well as meetings, consistent groups during a few days of my stay, getting prescribed medication and grocery delivery. Overall, all things that should be easy to improve. Thank you to everyone that helped during my stay. I feel very confident I will be successful with my recovery!

This place has an extremely predatory practice to get you in their "luxury" accommodations. They…read moretried to get a family member to fly out across country without knowing if FMLA, STD or any type of Leave of Absense claim would be approved. They prayed on a weak person that needs help and doesn't understand protected leave options. They told my family member they would apply for FMLA, and STD once in their care and if they don't qualify they'll apply for a leave of absence. Completely false and they don't understand leave laws. They had no clue that my family member had already exhausted FMLA and STD with their current employer within the past 12 months and they can't automatically say my family member will get a leave of absence, that's at the discretion of my family members employer if they're not eligible for protected leave. The facility also didn't understand that if my family member isn't working and they go on leave, they have to go on COBRA which my family member can't afford and the family isn't paying, which means they make no money, will have to fly my family member home. They just wasted everyone's time, energy, money, resources and more importantly, the hope my family member had because of their failure to do their due diligence prior to arrival with benefit approval and job protection from the addicts current employer! Seriously, you're telling me this place is going to fly a patient across the county and then fill out paperwork to find out they won't get a dime? Sounds like a scam and extremely misinformed business practice. The second I explained the situation they quickly canceled my family members admission, which is ultimately what we wanted. This practice seems very misguided and uninformed. Be careful. They don't understand protected leave and it should be fully vetted and approved with your FMLA/STD administrator before you enter this faciltiy or any facility to avoid undue hardship for an already struggling addict and family memebers. I was told they can't start that process until the patient is in their care which I've never heard. You get approval for leave first and applicable benefits, then you go to treatment. Be careful. This place is fishy and something isn't right.

None of these options were able to meet his unique needs. The placement people we were working with were sensitive to this and suggested Silverado. We toured the facility, spoke with the staff, and observed resident/staff interactions. We knew we had found the perfect placement. Silverado staff from maintenance to administration are skilled in understanding the unique needs of memory care. They come from a place of "yes". Silverado provides a supportive, warm, caring, and very professional facility. Residency at Silverado would be a blessing to both the resident and the resident's family.
