I was at my lowest point in my life because of alcohol. After my treatment at Indah Recovery I'm a whole different person. The staff is absolutely amazing. They really care about you. Treatment was amazing. It's smaller then alot of other treatment facilities. So this gives them more time for closer, one on one treatment. The rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. This place has an extremely predatory practice to get you in their "luxury" accommodations. They tried to get a family member to fly out across country without knowing if FMLA, STD or any type of Leave of Absense claim would be approved. They prayed on a weak person that needs help and doesn't understand protected leave options. They told my family member they would apply for FMLA, and STD once in their care and if they don't qualify they'll apply for a leave of absence. Completely false and they don't understand leave laws. They had no clue that my family member had already exhausted FMLA and STD with their current employer within the past 12 months and they can't automatically say my family member will get a leave of absence, that's at the discretion of my family members employer if they're not eligible for protected leave. The facility also didn't understand that if my family member isn't working and they go on leave, they have to go on COBRA which my family member can't afford and the family isn't paying, which means they make no money, will have to fly my family member home. They just wasted everyone's time, energy, money, resources and more importantly, the hope my family member had because of their failure to do their due diligence prior to arrival with benefit approval and job protection from the addicts current employer! Seriously, you're telling me this place is going to fly a patient across the county and then fill out paperwork to find out they won't get a dime? Sounds like a scam and extremely misinformed business practice. The second I explained the situation they quickly canceled my family members admission, which is ultimately what we wanted. This practice seems very misguided and uninformed. Be careful. They don't understand protected leave and it should be fully vetted and approved with your FMLA/STD administrator before you enter this faciltiy or any facility to avoid undue hardship for an already struggling addict and family memebers. I was told they can't start that process until the patient is in their care which I've never heard. You get approval for leave first and applicable benefits, then you go to treatment. Be careful. I do contract work with this facility. Having worked in many rehab locations I can honestly say I am impressed with the staff and care I see here on a daily basis. Reviews are usually critical for this kind of business. Recovery is a very difficult process & many people go through some of their worst physical and emotional experiences while learning to live drug & alcohol free. The home and location are excellent but it is the positive vibe of the staff and clients that motivates me to keep working here. read more

Unethical upper management. Very small. You won't get the services because they are tiny. I ultimately went to a much larger facility and had nurses on staff, counselors on staff, upper management was available daily. There were so many people that when there was group, 4 times a day, you actually get a variety of input. I had a roommate that put items in the walkway for me the trip on. She put items in shower so that I could not shower. She played the television very loud when she was off detox and I was still on it and I was not able to sleep. Management did nothing. It was very poorly managed. I would never ask someone to pay $1000 A-day in a facility where rules were not enforced. It was pretty but when you can't take a shower or sleep or walk without fear of tripping, pretty doesn't go far. It was an atmosphere of bullying. And management did nothing. Even though the food was good I wouldn't go there for $20 A-day. read more

Terrible experience with the treatment center. There is no 24 hour nurse and it took them half a day to prescribe my detox meds when I was going into precipitated withdrawal. It got so bad I had to go to the ER twice due to their staffs lack of experience and personnel. The staff was incompetent and their supervisors weren't any different. my last post was deleted. My boyfriend and I were kicked out because I popped for meth. Meth was never my doc and I've never even tried it once in my life. I asked to be re tested they refused and made us pack our belongings fast as possible and dropped us off at a Starbucks with everything we had. We wanted so badly to stay sober so I asked if we could at least do a door to door transfer so we weren't tempted by getting a hotel room and potentially use. The staff said they "weren't doing all that" and that "we needed to leave asap" after being dropped off at the Starbucks we sat in the rain for 3 hrs until another facility picked us up. And guess what? I did NOT pop for meth there! Just after 3hrs! The chef was rude she kinda just hung out around the house all day and always had something to say about what you ate as if it were her kitchen. The nurse acted so disgusted by my doc (fent) and asked "why would you do that??" While shivering in disgust. I had to help her on the computer many times as she didn't know what she was doing. Not to mention my boyfriend going into precips twice and they couldn't get ahold of a dr for 9hrs. There's no groups. The staff aren't very kind. I don't go into these places with an attitude, I don't ask for anything and I treat staff nicely as I've worked in a rehab for years I know what it's like. apparently the google review I wrote was hidden. If you are considering this place for rehabilitation then I wouldn't recommend it. I was giving a ticket to fly out from Pensacola, Fl 2000 miles from home and lied to from the start. They promised to help me with legal stuff and they did nothing. I told them I didn't want pills and they put me on several different types, including blood pressure medication when I always showed normal. They refused to take them off my chart several times when I asked. Everyone but me caught covid and they did nothing at all to stop the spread. After a week there I was told my insurance wouldn't cover it. So Mackenzie Kahi (organizational management specialist) and Eric convinced me to lie to my insurance company to try and get me into there sister facility. Then when I was fed up with the place and asked for a grievance form I was met with aggression from Matt and dismissed saying I'm having problems every day and I'm just throwing " a temper tantrum " then when I chose to leave I was told "I'd never stay sober" and was told by Alex in admissions that I was dumb. It was leave or stay in a disrespectful place that I didn't feel safe at and blatantly violated my rights. If you want emotional and mental damage or to be stranded in California or manipulated into staying away from your family this could be the place. read more
