From watching those being called sent through for exam, it didn't seem to matter whether or not you had an appointment or walk in. All seem to be put in a que for examination. It has taken over 2 hours to be seen, x-rayed and a consultation of the results. Up side the Staff is personable, down side what is with the online scheduling if it doesn't matter if you walk-in or show up at the scheduled appointment time?

I've been back and forth with my sons insurance carrier for a card (we have NEVER received one) The receptionist this morning was miserable, told me she couldn't find any information on him (when the time that passed was barely 2 minutes) then when I asked about paying out of pocket she said "well it's like $199" so I'm like okay, I'll do that, to which she replied, but if you want us to submit it to your insurance it's actually $240. Well at that I just left. Not that I couldn't afford it, but I felt that she just couldn't be bothered any longer. So we left and went to the ED at Washington hospital, was in and out and they found his insurance information in literally 3 minutes.

The vehicle ahead of me took some time, and they pulled away right as the clock turned 1:30. As I pulled up, the staff was already lowering the metal screen and made eye contact with me. Instead of assisting me, they continued to close the screen. I had to honk to get any acknowledgment. My car clock still showed 1:30. The lady at the window told me through the speaker, "I'm sorry, you'll have to come back. We close at 1:30." I explained that I had been in line before 1:30 and that she saw me pulling up, but she insisted she couldn't help me, despite the fact I was already there. There were even other cars behind me that had joined the line before 1:30. Heaven forbid you help the customers who are already in line before eating your sandwich! This experience was incredibly frustrating and showed a lack of consideration for customers who arrive on time. I hope CVS addresses this issue to prevent similar situations in the future.

This is a great option for care needing non-doctor related illnesses so you aren't in line behind broken bones or more critical needs. Go here if you have a sore throat, cough, stuffed nose, headache, need a vaccination, things like that. They can test for strep throat, COVID-19, flu, those kind of illnesses. When you need a prescription, boom! Not only do they write a script, but the counter is within steps to get it filled. Sooo worth it when you are feeling like crap. One stop shop right there. And staff is always pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable.
