I wish i could give this less stars. I will never be coming here again EVER. Go to any other med…read moreexpress but not this one if you want to actually taken of. I scheduled an appointment at 9:16am for an online visit explained my issue and my reason for my visit very clearly was told to join my appointment at 10:10am joined at 10am, then i got a call to confirm my name, birthday, height, weight, etc.. I then proceeded to wait OVER an hour waiting in the wait room in severe pain. I next called the office as it's been over an hour to make sure that they were still joining. I was next connected to the office and explained I am still in the waiting room waiting to be seen. They then explained how I cannot be seen because THEY tried to connect and were unable to. They said them attempted to call me but I received no calls other than the call to confirm my birthday, height, weight, etc. They then go on to say that I am not aloud to be seen because they can not treat me nor see me at all only a hospital can after scheduling my appointment knowing my issue and reason for visit CLEARLY STATED before even scheduling the appointment. I have now missed my day at school waiting on an appointment that I never got and it will now be used against me because of a lack of their communication and have no resolution to my problem because they told me to go to the ER after they failed to either 1. inform me to do so in the beginning and say they can't treat me 2. see me for my appointment period because of their trouble joining the appointment.

I visited MedExpress for potential cardiac side effects from my cancer medication. The wait was…read moreshort and the nurses were attentive, thorough, and friendly. What was not great was trying to contact MedExpress afterward to request an EKG be faxed to my cardiologist (per his request). Repeated calls were disconnected by the automated system, and when I finally spoke to someone, they said they would contact a third party to send the records. Two weeks later, my cardiologist called to let me know they had not received anything from MedExpress. I called again and faced the same automated hang-ups. I was eventually transferred to billing, but the representative couldn't find my information and refused to transfer me or provide the correct contact number. After several attempts, I gave up and asked my cardiologist to fax the request directly, as I cannot send faxes. Even the hospital confirmed that getting medical records from MedExpress can be unreliable and difficult. This lack of responsiveness and transparency are serious problems for patients and doctors who need timely access to medical records.

Convenient care when I can't get to my doctor. The registration was strange, they confirmed my…read moreappointment on the screen, but there was no follow-up email or text. I get more feedback when I order a chicken sandwich. The waiting room is spacious and the music is okay. But when I make an appointment, I don't like sitting around. They could text me to say there's a delay. Or they could try not overbooking.

This place is a complete joke. I came in for a minor injury and didn't want to wait for hours in…read morethe ER. Should have just gone to the ER because I spent almost 3.5 hours there. I don't have insurance so I called and asked what I could expect cost wise...she told me $140 at the most. When all was said and done, they charged me $240 for an X-ray and a knee brace. The doctor seemed like he was in a huge hurry and basically rushed me out, prescribed me some sort of pain Medicine and didn't even tell me what it was, I had to find out from my pharmacist...it was 800 mg ibuprophen...which I had already been taking every six hours for the last two weeks. They did not help me at all and way overcharged. Plus, it was not pristine and clean like you would expect a medical office to be. The only reason I give it even two stars is because the nurse was very sweet.

I met with Dr. Akindele at the North Park Urgent Care on Monday Sept 1st for an ankle injury from a…read moreweek prior that was not getting better. My husband took me to have it examined because it was a holiday and we couldn't see our family doctor and I was I a lot of pain. When Dr. Akindele entered the exam room, where an EXAM should took place he only looked at my ankle, asked where it hurt and suggested an X-ray. He did not physically examine me. When he returned from reading the X-ray he said that there was no break or fracture that he could see but that a radiologist would have the final say. He said he did not know why my ankle is hurting and that we should keep it wrapped, take anti inflammatories (which we had knew we had been doing for the past week) and to see our family doc or a podiatrist. When my husband repeated back to him he was advising us to do when we left, he became very confrontational saying that he could "read between the lines" of what my husband was saying and that my husband was insulting him. When my husband reassured him that that was not his intention he only shook his head no and said "Yes you are and I've been in this game for 35 years". When my husband said no one is questioning your experience he stated "yes you are and you it's insulting". The doctor was the one who argumentatively threw out how many years of experience he had. My husband again said he just wanted to be clear and repeated the Dr's advice - wait for X-ray results, stay off of the ankle and see someone else, at which point the Dr agreed. He agreed to the same thing my husband said earlier that OFFENDED HIM SO MUCH in the beginning. So we basically paid for an X-ray, an "I don't know what is wrong with your ankle", see another provider and continue doing what we had already been doing for the past 6 days. I left with no idea when I would get the X-ray results, no attempt at a diagnosis, no treatment and a whole lot of UNPROFESSIONALISM! I had to ask the receptionist for an ace bandage as I was hobbling out. OH and if I wanted 2 bandages that will be an additional $4. Since when does it take 35 years of medical experience to suggest an x-ray and send you to another physician?
