Do not use MedExpress!!! Their basic visit charge for any visit(any length of time) is $240!!! My insurance only covered about $138.

My wife returned the same day 10min before her appointment and was told by a man at the front desk that no appointment had been created and that she needed to wait 2 hours in the waiting room to be seen. The nurse practitioner I saw was a little less than friendly and didn't really seem to care what I had to say. I was diagnosed with a ruptured eardrum in one ear and an infection in the other. I tried to advise her of my previous ear problems as a kid as well as a similar situation that occurred last year. No pun intended but, it literally went in one ear and out the other with her. I just hope her diagnosis is accurate and I haven't been on the wrong meds for the last week. Luckily I will be following up with an ENT.

Thank You Thank You…read more Thank You to the Drs. and Nurses and the Entire Staff here that saved our son Michael Alexanders life this past month. The action that Michaels team took on the 18th of April with emergency surgery definitely saved his life. Quick thinking and skilled expertise is the Main reason he is still among the living. The Nurses in ICU when we would call for updates were so professional, always telling us the hard truth and reassuring us they were doing everything possible to get Michael up and out of the hospital Alive. Not easy getting the news from 3k miles away in San Diego however we knew that other than praying we could do very little to help our son if we were there in person. Drs., Nurses and Staff were the Miracle workers . Pancreatitis and Pneumonia aren't easy to overcome even with the Amazing Medical Teams here combined with our sons incredible will to live we got a Happy Ending. We can Never Thank You and you entire Team enough.!! I hope anyone that reads this will put their complete confidence into the folks that work here on a daily basis. Went to the Emergency Room last night for diarrhea and vomiting. Was there for about 3 1/2 hours…read more Of that time about 25 minutes was actually spent with a nurse or doctor. The other 3 hours were spent waiting in a small exam room. I was running back and forth to the bathroom. They didn't hook me up to an I.V. Of saline solution for about 2 hour. The said I was lucky to get that because there was a shortage. I realize that there might have been sicker people than myself, but the experience was unacceptable. Over the years I have used UPMC Passavant ER a few times and the experience is always the same. From here on out I will use AHN Wexford & I suggest that you do too.

I am extremely disappointed in my experience at this Quest location. Typically I go to the Robinson…read morelocation and the staff does such a wonderful job, but I went to the McKnight location since it's near my boyfriends house. The phlebotomist that did my blood draw was personable, but definitely not nearly as experienced as the folks in Robinson. She hit a nerve while doing the blood draw and I have had this awful shooting pain down my forearm, wrapping around my wrist, and onto my hand for a week now. It has restricted me from exercising, doing certain things at my job, & using my right arm for just about anything. This is the first time I have ever had to experience something like this and I wish that there was more I could do. I believe this was entirely avoidable and caused by negligence on behalf of this staff member. To make the situation worse, there is no way to speak to a representative or even get in contact with a phlebotomist. The phone number provided by Quest is extremely limited to its abilities and was useless to me. I wish that there was something else that I could do to better this situation, or even prevent this from happening to another person.

I walked in (no appointment needed) and signed in on the sign-up sheet. A woman that worked there told me to "just sit down and they'll call you". I started to sit and before I got onto the chair they called me in. It was maybe 3 minutes from top to bottom! The person drawing the blood (wish I remembered her name...) literally had a needle in my vein immediately and got the blood she needed. The whole visit took about 10 minutes max! I can't say enough about how efficient it all was. Granted, they could be much busier at other times and it might take longer but I was impressed. A+

The nurses and doctors where fine the receptionists where fine as well. My problem is that they call it a hospital when it really is just a big urgent care facility. After blood work and testing the doctor said that they where not capable of diagnosing my sons problems as they do not have any specialty doctors on staff. What the heck no specialty doctors why even call yourself a hospital???????. The doctors said they where going to transfer him to Wexford Hospital. I do not get it they do thousands and thousands of dollars in tests only to say they can't do anything to help. Then to boot some one is paying for an ambulance to transfer him to the other hospital. If I was you I would avoid this so called hospital like the plague. I will be sure to never go here again. This is not a hospital so do not be fooled into thinking it is. If you have basic problems I am sure they can help, But anything remotely serous there is no way for them to help you. I must say again please do not go here unless you have no serious problems. With that said It was our fault for going here. I would normally give one star but the nurses and even the doctors where very nice even if they could not help. Normally for this level of care I would probably give 3-4 stars. Overall I will give 2 stars which is very generous.

Not to worry, it was on COVID, but what I had I always get around that time of the year. The dreaded Pennsylvanian sinus infection, you know they one you get because it hits the 70s in mid March and you think that jacket isn't needed. Well, when my head felt like it was in a vice grip I decided it was time to suck it up and make a stop here. In the time of COVID, you need to call ahead and be screened. You can either do this on your way here or in your car from the parking lot. Here is my big complaint about this place. During your time of need they attempt to hit you when you're down. Before allowing me to enter they basically demanded a credit card. Why? Because they want to ensure they get paid. Doesn't matter that you have insurance, doesn't matter that this isn't how other facilities do it, doesn't matter that you already know your symptoms. First of all, I'm not giving you my credit card information, period. Second, especially not over the phone. Third, that's not how business works. You send me a bill in the mail, not hit my credit card/bank account out of nowhere because you want your money. After telling them I am not giving them that information and some back and forth, they allow me to be treated. Is that how a medical facility is now run? Do they think they can do it that way because demand for medical care has gone up? Honestly, if I would have known I was going to get that much hassle, I would have gone to the clinic up the road that was exactly like this, or to the hospital a block over. When I was allowed in they told me they would allow me in for just this time, but in the future anytime I come into one of their locations I would have to provide my card information. Nope, still not going to happen. Anyway. After being left inside and go through the check-in process, you still have to sit in the waiting room. So it's like a ride at an amusement park, you wait in a line outside, the inside. Finally get back to be seen by the doctor and I was asked what's wrong. Told him it was a sinus infection and after checking me over really quickly he agreed. Not sure what I was going to be paying for, the customer service? Because I was seen for a total of less than five minutes, but hey, they wanted those credit card digits so they could charge me for what I already knew I had, and to write the prescription. The only good thing about this is they can send your prescriptions over to the CVS that's 24 hours and you can get your meds and go home. It's funny, when I first started this review I started at four stars and then after putting it into words of how much of a hassle it was on me while I wasn't feeling my best and realizing they were trying to take advantage of me; I had to knock it down to two stars.
