I understand that things happen unexpectedly, especially at a medical facility. I also species the fact that it's a walk in clinic so not everything will go as expected. She told me to sign in at the kiosk and told me that I had to stay there. Then I received a text link to finish my sign in! I tried to buy was having difficulty so I stopped and just figured I'd wait till they called us. A different receptionist looked up from her computer and asked me if I was filling out the questions. I explained that I'm grandma and that the patients parents had his insurance card and only had pictures of it in my phone. She explained that I needed to upload the pictures or I would be held liable for the bill. After several attempts to fill out their forms and getting frustrated that if been there an hour and she told me that if have to start again! Seriously! Go to the end of the line because they expect the customers to enter information into their system! I thought that was their job! At least they used to. So I told her that I would just pay for the visit and she continued to tell me that I still need to complete the information before they could proceed! I became frustrated and irritated with her. This is 3 days later. I asked about my high blood pressure. She held up 1 finger and said she only treats 1 illness a visit. I would have to come back pay another $50.00 to have my BP treated. I know a doctor would never let a patient walk out of the office with high blood pressure untreated. I would never recommend Hometown Urgent Care for any kind of treatment. I lost my money and got no treatment whatsoever. Don't waste your money going to this place. I recommend the ER.

I just said I'm picking up a machine... I never wanted to take a psych patient home.... The lady who gave me the sleep study was very kind though. Even though it's really bad and horribly mismanaged, I do have to say they are the kindest doctors I've met. I'm calling in the morning about my dead sleep study though... supposed to be returned tomorrow but I don't even get to do the test it's absolutely ridiculous. This review is for a few years ago when I had Mono and strep throat at the same time. My schools…read morehealth clinic only did a rapid strep ~ 2 weeks before I had to go to urgent care. My throat was so swollen, full of exudate, my tonsils were almost touching, couldn't eat or drink much, eyelids and face were so swollen I looked so unrecognizable for 2 weeks. I went to urgent care after feeling weak and because I still had a fever and was only able to take OTC (which I could barely swallow with my throat being so gross) ANYWAY I arrived, was seen very quickly, virals and assessment, given IV hydration which helped my fever and just made me feel a million times better, got a strep culture instead of just a rapid, and received a personal phone call from the PA the same night that it was positive for strep and she sent antibiotics to my local pharmacy. I felt SO much better the next morning and literally cried from joy because I felt so horrible for what felt like forever and missed so many undergrad classes. Most of the reviews on here that are bad are very unreasonable and from frustrated individuals who don't understand what an urgent care is for. Many times you DO need to make an appointment with yourself PCP or got to the ER. There are certain symptoms that really require them to refer u to the ER etc. it's not because people are lazy and don't don't want to work it's because they care, worried something else is going on, or are not comfortable trying to diagnose/treat something.

His assessment was minimal at best--he barely glanced at my spouse before asking, "What are we doing today?" and waited for a response without offering any guidance. When I suggested, "Maybe some X-rays?" he replied sarcastically, "Well, aren't you the lawyer?" His tone and demeanor made it clear he had little interest in helping. I would never return to him, nor would I recommend him to anyone. Frankly, I believe his medical license should be reviewed, if not permanently revoked.
