Embassy Suites by Hilton Tucson East - Breakfast Area

Embassy Suites by Hilton Tucson East

Check in: quick, friendly, easy (which is notable because I checked in at midnight on a Thursday)…read moreRoom: spacious, clean, and cleaned thoroughly every day Amenities: breakfast was filling and tasty. Happy hour was fine. Pool was awesome. Parking: no problems Everything I could hope for with a hotel

Came here for 5 nights with my wife. We both agreed that the property is so beautiful to look at…read more We never been to a Embassy Suites witu a outside setup. So we were immediately happy. Check in was smooth and our requests for extra bedding and towels were met. In our room, at first sight, we loved it. However, there were issues. Our bedroom door never stayed open and we reported it on the 25th hoping it would be fixed on the 26th, but no one came. Our remote control did not fully work for the bedroom either and that was reported at that same time as the other issue and it was not ever fixed. Our balcony door did not lock as we found out. That's why they had a makeshift stick placed to hold the door close. Our bed was comforting and the shower water pressure was nice. On our 3rd day there, they ran out of body wash to fill the containers with, so they provided is with mini bottles of body wash. My nephew had to use the bathroom after spending time in the pool. Unfortunately, the bathroom located in the pool area was locked. We had to go to the restaurant area each time he needed to go. That was an issue. They also ran out of pool towels and we had to use bathroom towels when my niece and nephew came out of the pool. The restaurant had a really great breakfast. We enjoyed it daily. However, on the 24th, there was a cook at the omelet station that had a very nasty demeanor and he just gave a very, very terrible experience. I am glad that they decided to not have him back that week while we were still there. He would have messed up our Christmas vacation first thing each and every morning. We enjoyed our Happy Hour because of the amazing bartenders that we were able to speak with. Their conversation was so nice. They really made that time pleasant. All front office staff, day and night, were friendly and attentive.. minus that 25th person that we reported issues to and she promised that someone would look into it and no one ever came. She did tell us that only 1 person was on stag for Christmas to handle the issues.. but we really thought someone would come the 26th. I was a little dismayed that we had to ask for our room to be fully cleaned on the 3rd day even though the hotel specifically says it will be done. Checkout was smoothand we appreciated the late check out request being honored.

When I picked up my order even the staff were looking at the pizza they had made like WTF?!?! It looked like the pizza had fell and the toppings slid off the side. I could literally count the pieces of pepperoni on my pizza. The crust was soggy and undercooked. The sauce tasted straight from a can without any seasonings. They They staff said they could remake it but I didn't want to wait around again for potentially another disappointing version. Its been a while since last at Peter Piper but damn people. I only ate 2 slices and threw the rest in the trash where it belonged. I can't believe they are charging $20.00 for less than bad quality food. Next time Ill just get Costco pizza for half the price and double the quality, or even lil Caesars pizza. Im beyond irritated, disappointed and disgusted wity this recent terrible experience.

I wasn't going in with high expectations because we all know these kinds of places aren't going to be the best quality for food. The entire place is surprisingly clean. I had no issues at all with cleanliness. The game area was fine too. As long as my daughter had fun, I was happy. The service was great too. Every worker we interacted with was polite, kind, and patient with us since it was our first time. I know the teens / young adults working in service get a lot of crap sometimes, but I get it. We've all been there. I try to be just as nice to them as well. But they weren't rude at all, and I hope the best for them. We got pizza, the chicken Alfredo, and the boneless chicken. Listen. I didn't come here to expect high end, amazing food and it wasn't that bad anyways. My picky daughter enjoyed it and that's all that matters to me. I enjoyed it as well. We didn't get sick and we took the rest home and finished the leftovers. We had a great time.

Amazing overall. The ranch itself is pristine; the arenas and round pens are dragged regularly, the…read morecross country track is maintained beautifully, and the stalls are picked once to twice daily. The covered arena is one of the largest I have seen, is lighted, and open late. Raven Ranch is right off the Pantano wash and offers amazing trail riding right from the property. The few trainers that work from Raven Ranch are very friendly and all treat the horses they train very well. Cows are even often on property to use in training with one of the trainers! The owners are very pleasant and are very active in ranch duties. While one mucks stalls, the other helps with maintenance of the property. Owners and trainers are immediately alerted of even the smallest issues with their horses so immediate action can be taken, if needed. They feed the highest quality hay at the weight recommended by the owner and even offer lunch, supplement, and medication feeding for a little extra per month. I would highly recommend Raven Ranch to anyone looking to board, learn dressage, cow work, or anything in between. Great place to be, great vibes, positive energy.

This place continues to go down hill. The current owners have owned the ranch for four years. They…read moredon't live on property, and don't even live in Tucson. They have not been hands on ever. Instead they hired a tyrant manager who threatens boarders when they question anything happening on property, including light feedings, which occurs frequently. When asked about repairs we are ignored, to the point of horses being injured and having to be put down. After putting the ranch up for sale for an insane price, as we all know it wasn't worth even close to what they were asking, they decide to make the poor decision to lease the ranch to a 26 year old with a record. Including misuse of livestock. Prior to this they stopped dragging footing, allowed weeds to grow all over the property and continue to not engage in any proper fly control. They were reached out to by numerous boarders and yet nothing happened or improved. The "new" manger at least fired all previous management, who had not done anything at the barn in years. She calls her self a trainer and doesn't even work with her own horse. Takes people's money to work their horses and then does nothing with them. She constantly lies about why she is constantly late to feeding at night and or not doing her job, EVER. Now that the ranch is under 50 horses, with one arena left with decent footing that still isn't being maintained properly, the owners have determined they are now going to "manage" the ranch and have hired new employees, yet have been duped into bringing back the previous manager as an hourly employee. The only reason most of us stay is for the best trainer onsite, Casi, and the owners continue to refuse to realize that listening to her and her boarders would actually help them make the ranch much improved. It's unbelievable that boarders have continued to stick it out in the horrible conditions and the lack of use of half the property. All the owners want is to make money and they some how thought this ranch would make it for them through a "flip". They don't care about the welfare of the horses and they don't really even know what they are doing because they are not horse people themselves. Not sure what will finally make them wake up and realize they continue to make one bad decision after another. This is a customer service business and their customer service is just as dilapidated as what they have turned the barn into.
