    Heaped Hummus (medium)

Meddy's is a nice addition to our SW 19th St! It's a nice little fusion between fast food and somewhat upscale dining. You order at the counter upon coming in, and they have servers who bring you napkins and complimentary pita as you sit down. We enjoyed the hummus, and I ordered the lamb plate while my partner had the lamb shawarma. The lamb plate I received was delicious but it was extremely oily, so I'm glad I had the tabbouleh as a side, and it was topped with a nice cilantro salad. The lamb shawarma was a little smaller than we had anticipated. It was good, but the portion size was definitely smaller than the plate and came with two pieces, sort of like a burrito cut in half. The hummus was great. Funny enough, I've had Meddy's catering a few times now too, and I love their catering! Probably more than I enjoyed dining in, so I highly recommend this option if you're looking for delicious catering for work or other large part needs!

I dislike the order at the counter idea for a couple reasons. One feeling pressured to decide on your order quickly and two, the tipping in advance. The inside is tastefully furnished and has a full bar with seating. The large hummus plate is huge but delicious. We also had the half order of lentil soup and mushroom soup. Both very good but very salty. The service was very minimally needed and yet we pre-tipped 20%. The employees were pleasant and the other plates coming out were massive (but looked amazing) so beware when ordering.

One of the bummers of moving back to Oklahoma was missing all the great food California had to offer. I absolutely love fresh Mediterranean food (especially Lebanese) and the best you can find in Norman is a gyro place that serves either gyro meat in a pita with fries or a plate with gyro meat and fries. I'm not kidding. Imagine my relief when I come here and there is a full menu of delightful dishes such Schwarma and rice and salads. The staff was warm and welcoming and the place itself is very modern and clean. I was surprised to see it even has a full bar.

Like a Mediterranean type Panera- order at the counter and seat yourself. They had the best tomato soup I've ever had- so creamy and rich. The ShawarmBaa was so flavorful and had a good portion of meat. It was very crowded on a Friday night. They do have outdoor seating with heat lamps but even then, it was a bit cold mid November. Definitely recommend

Meddys is beautiful inside and out, with great service and absolutely delicious food, making it one of the best spots in Moore! You order at the counter, and they bring your food to the table, starting with fresh pita and olive oil. We ordered a chicken shawarma with garlicky potatoes (get the potatoes!) and the aptly named Heavenly Hummus bowl. The adult beverages and desserts looked great, too - we'll be back!

Great and fun place to have a meal! The ambiance is warm and full of color. The food matches your surroundings, I have not had authentic Mediterranean food before like this and it won me over. The servers keep walking around and checking tables, so they are responsive and quick. I plan to be back and try other food options they have.

I had baba ganoush with pita bread, and it was delicious. Reasonable prices. I will be back!

What can I not say about this wonderful restaurant... food is always 5 star and very very allergy friendly with a knowledgeable staff. Garlicky chicken is divine!

Excellent atmosphere, great Mediterranean food choices. We sat inside because it was windy & cold outside but the outdoor seating looked very nice. I ordered the Chicken Shawarma with a side of tabbouleh salad & my hubs ordered the Fancy Falafels with tabbouleh also. The servings were large, we should have shared a plate. Everything was great. We did order sodas and they were not great but our server brought us waters (just because--I never mentioned the sodas but also declined a refill) after our meal which I thought was exceptional service.

Big bowl w/ chicken. Heaped hummus with pita and chips. And lastly chicken shawarma with garlic potatoes.

Nosh Restaurant & Catering Creations: Weird Location, Great Food…read more You have probably driven by Nosh dozens of times and didn't know it was there - it's located on a hill, off an S-curve and dip in the road. But once you sample Kim Torres' delicious fare, you'll never forget where it is tucked back into 19th Street in Moore. The Nosh Restaurant comfortably seats 100, with another 36 in the glassed-in private dining area. You can request to sit by the cheery fireplace or closer to the bar area if that is more your style. Vintage settees, antiques, crystal chandeliers, and greenery surround the restaurant, providing a very restful, relaxing, yet fancy atmosphere. The day we visited for lunch, we opted for a pot of peach mango hot tea - you can also get it iced. The tea was smooth and subtly fruity, with cream and sugar added all around. If you order the scones, they are not hard or dense like traditional scones. The blueberry and cranberry scones were soft, warm, and bursting with flavor that only enhanced the clotted cream and lemon curd that accompanied them. The charcuterie board is a delightful addition to any meal. The hummus is flavorful and fun, but make sure you try the watermelon radishes. You can't go wrong with tea sandwiches, but their regular sandwiches are lovely meals, and don't get me started on their salads. Their pot roast is eye-crossing, yummy-groaning-at-the-table good - so tender you almost don't have to chew it. The savory gravy is more of an au jus and beckons the mashed potatoes. I didn't even add butter! The honey does not get lost on the thick slabs of tender Honey Garlic Pork Ribeye, with a twist of garlic to keep it from being too sweet. The maple-roasted sweet potatoes were like eating the best of Fall rolled into one side dish. The Chicken Bacon Mac and Cheese dish is a comfort meal for your senses. The flavors and textures swirl around in your mouth and, like the cheeses, pervade every corner of the pasta. One of my all-time favorites, which I could eat every time I visit Nosh, is their Tuscan Chicken. The pasta has a spiral, "corduroy" feel to your tongue that holds up to the chicken breast and the thick, creamy sauce full of sun-dried tomatoes and spinach. You must try dessert if you have any room left after your meal. We had Red Velvet Cake Dots and Lemon Curd and Maraschino Cherry Pastry Cups, both of which were the "cherry" on top of a perfect lunch. Nosh is located at 200 SE 19th Street in Moore, OK. It is open 11 am--3 pm Tuesday through Saturday and closed Monday. For more information or to see a menu online, visit noshinmoore.com.

There is plenty of parking and the restaurant is easy to access from I-35. They even offer a drive thru for those that really don't want to get out of your car. Service: The staff was very friendly and helpful. It makes for a relaxing dine-in experience. Food came out pretty quickly after ordering from the counter. Food: The meats are good, especially the pork ribs. Recommend eating them without sauce because the bbq rub is that good. The thin brisket slices dried out quickly and were not as tender as how I would smoke a brisket. The pulled pork was flavorful, but a little on the dry side, too. The smoked turkey was flavorful, but also dried out quickly. Of all the sides, my favorites were the potato salad and fried okra. Both were fresh and not over seasoned. The sweet tea is delicious. In summary, I highly recommend this Van's Pig Stand and happy they are still smoking meats after all these decades.

We arrived around 8:15 pm (plenty of parking) and ordered a two-meat combo with pulled pork and burnt ends (which we were excited to try), along with a side of potato salad and green beans. There were plenty of tables as they close at 9 pm. A few minutes after placing our order, we were informed that they had run out of burnt ends, which was disappointing. We substituted brisket instead, and although we requested marble brisket, it was extremely dry and overall not enjoyable. Unfortunately, this meal did not meet our expectations. It would be helpful when the kitchen informs cashier when certain meats were sold out so then customers won't be disappointed.
