This dentist has an assistant who couldn't write up a dental plan correctly... Not once, but twice. My son went to see them and got a plan to pull some teeth he has had issues with. The plan missed 2 teeth he had discussed with them. He called, got it updated, and had an appt to do this plan. He gets in the chair, and the dentist got upset with said assistant due to justen wanting to go from a flipper to a full top plate, which meant more teeth with no issues pulled. The dentist numbed a few spots and then got so upset that he was moving this syringe around very close to my son's face. The assist stated she was used to the yelling that came with the needle moving. My son left. My son, being very upset, told me about this, and Mama Bear came out. I went to the office and spoke with Olivia (office person). I was quite angry, I will admit, but my son at least deserved an apology. My son and i talked about it, and he said if the dentist apologized, then he would go back and get it done (the price would be affordable, and he had already paid for x-rays. We go back in there today and my his and my son is explaining to the dentist that he didn't appreciate the waving of the needle in his face. Is the dentist, with a varit's a very sarcastic attitude said "Did you get poked by the needle?" I stepped forward and stated,"That is NOT how you act when someone is in your office. The dentist then stated, "I am done with you; you can get your records and find another dentist." I said,"fine... I am going to write a review everywhere I can and tell everyone I can about you and the way you treat patients, " the dentist then said,"Shut up." I made sure the patients in the waiting room knew what they could expect from the dentist and advised they be very careful, asperger syndrome included since the office person is so quick to use it as an excuse.

It's wasn't until a removed review that suddenly within 20 minutes she emailed me. She accused me of being a person that goes to medical offices simply to give bad reviews. ??? I went to her from a referral for issues relating to my heart. Literally. She prescribed a solution prior to viewing her requested blood work that counteracted with a disclosed heart condition. Like I said. When I had the reaction to her prescription I called her once a day. Never heard back until I put my review online. Still no solution since won't return my calls. I was always polite. I should have spoken up because this was really wrong to do, but I did get home and change the dressing. Then there is the dog who runs in and out of the exam rooms and waiting room. Cute dog but it is not trained to stay out of areas and to not jump up on people. The dog jumped up on my leg with the wound. I ended up at TMC Wound Care Clinic which is very professional with highly trained staff. He is a bariatric surgeon who no longer practices that, and I am not sure what his training is for wound care.

I have been a patient of Dr. Keene since 2001. I did lots of research before choosing a surgeon…read more I had a 2,000 graft FUT procedure that turned out excellent back then. You folks who think FUE is the way to go, just go research and see pics of how FUE consumes a very large donor area, whereas the FUT leaves your donor area MUCH more intact. That helped me, because years later I did another FUT to aid my condition, as my original native scalp hair continued to go away. (I didn't stay with Finasteride due to side effects). My donor scar is so minimal that my hair cutter could not find it when I asked her to look for it. It is there, just extremely fine. I'm an old guy now, and my eyebrows had gone away. I didn't like the look of bald eyebrows. Since I had only done FUT procedures, I had plenty of donor area left. So I had Dr. Keene do a small strip FUT eyebrow transplant for me on 12-5-2025, and once again, outstanding. The FUT strip is quite small for eyebrows. If you opt for eyebrow, just make sure you have practiced with an eyebrow pencil well before the procedure, as they are going to ask you to draw the shape of what you are wanting to achieve right before surgery. I am very pleased to have eyebrows again. It has been fun watching them emerge from where there had been only about 5 hairs total for both sides. One thing also....since it is regular hair that will continue growing, be prepared to trim them. I was a bit worried about that chore, but it's not a problem at all. I have come to enjoy doing it. I can trim them a little shorter, or let them get a little longer. I usually can wait a couple weeks before spending about one minute doing a touchup with a small electric trimmer. I highly recommend Dr. Keene and her staff, and am very happy I went to Tucson. I do have the convenience of living only a two hour drive away in the Phoenix area. I have a friend who consulted a Phoenix area hair restoration surgeon, and at her consult, she did not even meet the doctor. She met a non-medical salesman! She did her procedure there, and didn't even meet the surgeon until the morning of her surgery. If you consult with Dr. Keene, you will see her, not some salesman.
