Adrian and Chai are the most talented and friendly people! Adrian is fantastic with hair and was able to take my long scraggly hair and completely transform it to a nice layered look that was still long but with added thickness and style. There is no way you can regret getting your hair cut by Adrian and I promise you will be a long time client! read more

Oh Meche...how I am so sad to part ways. If anyone is ever looking for the perfect blonde, look no further because Sarah has the hands and mixing ability of an angel. I've never received so many compliments on my hair color in my life. I just recently had to relocate back to the east coast and I've never seriously considered more flying back to LA just to get my hair colored (a bit much?) Blondes, you know this, but it's SO hard to get that perfect color....is it too golden? too yellow? Brassy? green? (yes, it 's happened) But Sarah just gets it... she's amazing. Everyone go now. Just go. I promise. read more

I have been many different upscale salons in LA and Meche is far away from all. They messed up my hair and everytime i ended up at meche to fix it. Front desk, assistance,... everyone is super kind. Yes they are expensive but worth it! There is no particular person, i recommend every single one at salon no doubt! Remember hair is not something that you can get it done anytime so be generous and make the investment. read more

"life is an endless struggle full of frustrations and challenges, but eventually you find a hair stylist you like." - anonymous Recently I followed Alessandra from Neil George to Meche, an incredible convenient spot in Beverly Hills that provides the nicest valet right behind the salon, leading to the most relaxing ambiance and natural aesthetic with the wood beams and clean flower arrangements - the embodiment of relaxation. Alessandra knows my personal hair styling challenges and has never once failed to accommodate: sometimes my schedule can be a little hectic, meaning I might not be back in her chair another for another four or five months, and without any direction she delivers the perfect cut that grows out perfectly without demanding any touch-ups till I manage to see her again next. Honestly I can't even dream of having someone else touch my hair, she knows how low maintenance about it I am so her cuts make it as easy on me as possible, no brushing or intense blow dry jobs required after her work. Could not praise her talents enough. A year ago, I felt the urge to mix it up a little, and following Alessandra's suggestion (which I will never question) I went to Sarah Conner, just 5 chairs away at the same gorgeous salon, Meche. life.changed.forever. Of course I had doubts, I had, up to this point, never, ever, applied any color or chemical processing to my virgin hair, so getting my hair highlighted without possessing the ability to express exactly what I like or dislike could have been a straight out disaster. I cannot express the luck I've experienced at Meche salon, I am straight up convinced with whoever you see you will be happy with, but Sarah Conner has changed my life. After a quick consultation with me and a discussion with Allie, she went to work. Sarah is a professional in every sense of the word and I have never been disappointed, once again, without any input from me, she somehow realized exactly what I was hoping for with the amazing aid of her assistant Sarah. It's a long process that I relish every appointment because of her consistently amazing, natural results. caveat: they are capable of doing it all and everything beyond, whether it be crazy color or short and funky cuts, just wanted to share my amazing experience. couldn't be more grateful to these two girls for making my hair routine so low maintenance with the most gorgeous results. read more

I got my blonde color done by Chelsea Belushi, and I could not be happier! She did EXACTLY what I wanted, and did it quickly! She was friendly and cute, and I totally trusted her. I loved getting to chat with her, besides the fact that she did such a great job on my hair. I will definitely be back, I have already gotten such positive feedback from my friends. read more

I've been going to Michelle for color for about 6 years now. I LOVE her!! She's super nice, professional and knows her stuff. Her assistant Elisa is a sweetheart and amazing as well. TONS of celebrity sightings but they treat normal people like myself the same as everyone else. ZERO attitude here which I appreciate. Even the valet guys are super friendly!! read more

Matt is a number one in what he s doing . I was looking for a professional one for 5 years in Los Angeles and finally I found him . I m so happy with my new hair color , thanks Matt :) read more

Sarah Conner is the best colorist ever. Ever. Every time I've had my hair colored over the past 20 years, it has never looked good when I left the salon. It always takes a few weeks to look normal and natural. Not so with Sarah. I walk out looking fantastic. Honestly, I have been everywhere. I have paid absurd amounts of money to "celebrity colorists". Sarah is as good as it gets. I will never go to anyone else ever again! She's a bargain considering how great of a job she does. read more

Meche Salon is amazing. All the stylists, assistants and the people working at the desk are the greatest. Tracey Cunningham is an unbelievable colorist. She is the colorist to the stars. As I am writing this Tracey is on the way to Dubai to color all the sheiks and their families . They fly her in every two months. I barely walk out the door without seeing the paparazzi waiting for someone to leave. Another amazing person working in the shop is Tyle Mahoney. He has a way of performing his magic. Cathy, his assistant, is also very talented and the sweetest. The products they use in the salon are the best. My hair grows so quickly that I have to get color every two weeks. The products are a testament of their quality. Thank you Meche for making me look so great!s read more

Sarah is the best colorist! Been going consistently for years! Got the best cut from Rebecca.

I had just arrived in LA, after a 30 year absence - and had been recommended to Meche, I have always been VERY-OVERLY concerned about my stylist, because I've pretty much had long, thick, gorgeous hair, and most the hairdressers wanted to do was CUT IT-short! (why is that?!?) Anyway I was pointed to a lovely young lady named Alessandra @ Meche, and I really don't think in 30 years I have had such a WONDERFUL CUT and style as with her. Honestly, the last time I had such a great cut was with Christopher Brooker, the Creative Director for Vidal Sasson, and since he started as a Shampoo-Sweep-up boy for Vidal, went on to be his top stylist and then his Creative Director for Vidal Sasson Intl, I consider myself incredible grateful in finding Alessandra. Book early, she is truly in demand. She also has a wonderful personality, and for a rather "up market BH Salon" she has a wonderful down-to-earth way about her. I know it can be a bit dear (expensive), but take a chance, you will not be disappointed. read more

Go get your hair cut and styled by Jesse!!! He fixed my hair after a terrible haircut. Thank god for Jesse. He's the best.

I don't know why I haven't written a review before. Been seeing Tyle Mahony and Neil for over five years and I have to say that my hair is the best that it has ever been. The shine, color is perfect and it is oh so healthy! I don't use products coz I just don't need to with their care all these years. It's all natural and I love it! Can't imagine my life without these geniuses! read more

I love this place! Jesse Montana is the absolute best. I've been going to him for years and traveling salons just to experience his cuts and blow-outs. Jesse cut my hair after a horrible extension-gone-wrong fiasco into a super chic bob and has since cut layers, shoulder-length hair, and bangs. He can seriously do no wrong! I love him so much! Jesse is worth every penny. He styled my friends and I's hair 1920's style for New Years Eve and even had me send inspiration photos beforehand - we were receiving compliments the entire night and felt like chic 1920's stars! I have an audition this week for a 1950's role and am going to see if he can style my hair. SERIOUSLY GO TO HIM. I have an obsession. read more

I've been meaning to post this for a while, but I had an AMAZING cut and color done by Chelsea! I wanted to soften my look a little bit and add some highlights, but I had an awful tiger stripe experience years ago and was a little afraid to jump back on the lighter wagon. But Chelsea was amazing! She walked me through the whole process and was even able to perfectly match the picture I brought in. Not to mention she gave me an awesome cut to boot! I'm so happy with my new hair and I'm getting compliments left and right! I can't recommend Chelsea enough and the whole salon is beautiful and inviting. So happy! read more

I came into Meche salon for a color and a cut. I am a natural blonde and wanted to do a full color change to red. I went to CHRIS for my color and he was AMAZING! The color was exactly what I asked for and he even gave me his own recommendations to do a gloss versus permanent color and I am so glad I did! His assistant was also extremely helpful. For my cut I went to ADRIAN and I can honestly say it was the best cut of my life! But besides how fabulous their work was, what I loved most was how genuinely excited they were to work on my hair. They were kind and in no way unfriendly (like how some higher end salons can seem to be). Even the receptionists were coming over and talking to me! I am so happy I came here and will be returning soon! Thank you so much to the whole Meche team! read more

Tracey Cunningham is the best colorist. My hair has never looked better!

Well after getting my great haircut from Michael I also needed some new highlights.....badly. Michael suggested I see Heather and all I can say is WOW! Thank god he recommended her because she is wonderful. She took the time to listen to me and we discussed the best color for me which happens to be a beautiful shade of blonde. So if you want to feel like a million bucks then book your next color with Heather! You won't be sorry!!!! read more

Meche is a beautiful salon that has a great balance between feeling vibrant/fun and relaxing at the same time. I was fortunate to stumble upon Peter Ishkhans many years ago and he is truly outstanding. A wonderful person and crazy talented with his scissors, I always leave a haircut feeling grateful for him as the hair guru in my life. read more

Such a great find! And so close to work for me (cedars sinai). Had my color done by Tania - who was AMAZING. She was generous with her time, patient, and really listened and delivered exactly what I wanted. I left Meche with a whole new look and a boost of confidence to go with it. read more

Great salon, but Michael Sparks is the real reason I visit. He has been my stylist for years. He is so talented calling it a hair cut is an understatement, it's more magic! He really takes the time to give the perfect cut. I am very particular about hair cuts, especially because I like to keep my hair long. He is the only stylist EVER that has observed this. Though I ombre my hair, it's really the cut that makes the color look good. I get so many compliments, can't recommend him enough! read more

Today I had my hair colored and highlighted by Tania, who was so wonderful! She is very talented and so easy to talk to (the time flew by!). Tania gave me a gorgeous chocolate brown base along with auburn highlights. My hair color looks so natural and more beautiful than ever. I cannot wait to go back and see Tania again soon!! read more

I have been struggling to find a salon in LA for over a year and I've finally found it. I had color by Chelsea and a cut by Madison last week and they are both exceptional. Chelsea gave me the red I've been searching for for about 10 years. Madison not only gave me an awesome cut, she spent a lot of time showing me different ways to style it using products I already have, and suggested a few new ones. I know everyone says Tracey is the queen at Meche, but seriously Chelsea is the crowned princess. Prices are reasonable and they carry a lot of product lines. Valet parking is $10 in the back is convenient as well. read more

this salon is so great. the inside is so nicely decorated. i loved the feeling of being there. i saw Jessie who is amazing. it was my first time there, and he took such good care of me. introduced himself while i was waiting for him to finish up with this client, which i though was really polite. i told him i wanted a new look and i literally have not gotten more compliments...it is hard to cut your hair 9 inches and be so excited, but i was and i still am. i can't wait to go back to Jessie !! must go! read more

The wish of having Tracy Cunningham do my hair brought me to this salon. For several months I tried to book an appointment with her however she had a full client load and wasnt accepting new clients. After several months of trying, I decided to try Liz who takes over for Tracy when she is unavailable. Liz was super sweet and friendly. I went in to go back to being dark from roots to tip from a balayage. My experience at the salon was far from what I expected. It was actually a bit chaotic. I went in before the Christmas holiday and said to one of the ladies who worked there by the hair washing area "wow, it's really busy because of the holidays " and she said "actually no, its usually like this. Maybe not on Tuesdays". Anyway, when I got to the salon the receptionist said "ok, you can go get changed" and I was like "ummm...this is my first time here. Where do I change?". I had no idea where to go. She directed me to the bathroom and the area to hang my coat. I then went back to the front and Liz's assiatant came out and asked if I had a style inspiration pic (whic I did). 5 minutes later he comes back and asks again and I say yes. He tells me to keep the pic out ready for her. Then another assistant comes and asks me to have the pic out. Then again when I got seated he asked for the pic. I was thinking "ok, chill! I have the pic out on my phone, jeez!" But I didn't say anything to him. Also, when I was waiting, another assistant asked if I would like something to drink and I asked for water. He came by again and I had to remind him for water (I was 8 months pregnant at the time). The third time I got water. To continue, I finally met Liz and she was very nice and easy to work with. Our encounter was quick because she was very busy. Then as soon as she colored my roots, I had to go back to the waiting area. Then when my hair was ready to be washed, I waited for a seat (as all the seats where taken) and sat in another waiting area for a sink to open up. Usually, in a high end salon, they massage your head as they wash your hair but no, not here. It was a quick wash and I was off to another waiting area till Liz finished someone else. Her assistant blow dried the front of my hair to see how the color came out. Liz came back, she checked the color and we chatted for a bit and that was that. I felt this salon was really impersonal. Its a huge Salon with many clients. I felt lost in a herd of sheep. I have absolutely no problem spending money on my hair for quality service however I felt for the price I was paying and to not even have a glass of water given to me, have to move from seat to seat, different waiting areas, not even have a place to sit in the waiting area was not OK (especially being pregnant). Also, a blow dry is not included with a color service. Now, some people may not mind spending $90 on a blow dry but I do. I think thats an expensive price to pay especially when you are already getting a service done. You are likely to run into a celebrity at Meche as I ran into two while I was there. It was a very unique experience. All in all, I thought Liz was great but my experience at the salon wasnt at all what I was looking for. I also have resistant grays and after one wash, my grays had a redish tint to them. I am sure if I would have called back, Liz would have redone them (she's very sweet) but I really didn't want to go through the headache of being moved around from chair to chair so many times being pregnant and not feeling taken care of. I feel this salon has very talented people working for them but they have gotten so popular that they have lost some of the basics in providing a qualitative experience. read more

I have been going to Tania for over 5 years for my color. I have followed her from different salons when she made a change. She is amazing with color and I always get tons of compliments. She listens and aims to please every time I'm in her chair. And, as an added benefit, she's a really fun person to be around. I have recommended her many times. The new salon, Meche, is great! Very busy but friendly and unpretentious. read more

Michael Sparks is the BEST stylist I have ever had. I am EXTREMELY picky about my hair and Michael is the only person that I will let style it - ever. He is so talented and so nice. He took one look at me and my hair and knew exactly what I needed to look and feel better. His cuts are beautiful, feminine and sexy - exactly what every woman wants to see in the mirror. I could not recommend him more highly and feel lucky to have him care for my hair. The Salon is great too. The people are friendly and welcoming. There is valet parking available as well. Awesome place and amazing stylist. read more

Adrian Castillo is a "hair whisperer" with curly, frizzy and unruly hair-- a true artist !! I don't know how he does it but he gives me the most flattering age-appropriate and polished cuts every time I see him. he cuts & cuts & cuts and magically transforms my mop of hair into a thing of beauty-- framing my face perfectly !! I always ask him to cut it a bit shorter so I don't have to go in as often. his amazing cuts can last me for up to 6 months-- making the high price much easier on my budget (as I'm not a celebrity- just a regular gal). He is super cool, down to earth and has no attitude whatsoever (so rare for high-end LA salons). I followed him from John Frieda to Sally Hershberger, then to Meche, and will stay with him as long as I have hair !! I moved and now live in St. Louis, but I just flew to LA for business- and couldn't wait to get an appt. with him and get my unruly mop of hair styled !! read more
