    Such a fun and new experience at Head Spa Nagomi. You arrive at Salon Kazumi and you are taken outside a few doors down to the beautiful tranquil room on the second floor. First stop is to examine your scalp and see how it is via the computer. Then all the fun begins. Your hair is steamed and throughly washed, there is a great head massage going on as well! The service I did lasted about an hour. Following the treatment you sit back down and example your scalp again and can literally see the difference. I opted to not have them blow dry my hair that was an additional $75 but they did allow me to use the blow dryer myself before leaving.

    I went to head spa class. It was great experience. I learned a lot about japanese authentic omotenashi hospitality, shiatsu acupressure massage technic, and relaxation methods plus healing. Everything was amazing experience. Thank you so much Kazumi, and Kai!!

    I LOVED this head spa experience. I've never had such a beautiful head massage paired WITH a hair washing & blowdry. Seriously a dream come true! My hair was silky, soft, and healthier than ever when i left. I still haven't washed my hair and it's been 5 days! I'll definitely be back

    My review is long overdue! But I finally must write one!…read more I have been going to Josephine at Les Cheveux (otherwise called LaDuree Hair Salon) ever since October 2023. And she and her assistant, Charlie, are absolutely awesome :D !! I only wish I found them sooner :) ! Prior to finding her on Yelp, I went to a salon in Westwood that was run by a couple. But I wasn't too happy with how they had me change around my schedule just so they could run their personal errands. When you run a business, you should always put customers first. If you have certain personal tasks to take care of as business owners, you simply block off certain appointment times on your manual or virtual calendar so customers don't book appointments for those date/time slots. If something unexpected comes up, you contact your customer to see if you can reschedule on the next date/time that your customer would prefer for a reschedule. But you don't keep pushing the time further and further into the day on the day of the appointment, and make your customer keep adapting to your schedule. This couple did just that :( ! So I got frustrated and decided to take my business elsewhere! I'm really grateful that I found Josephine and her assistant, Charlie :) ! They are so professional and courteous, and they really listen to your needs! Because my previous stylist at the previous salon was so scissor-happy , didn't listen, and cut more than I told her to cut, so far, Josephine hasn't cut my hair because we have to wait until it grows back enough to cut it. The previous stylist botched my hair by creating unwanted and uneven bangs that I told her not to do :( . So because of the damage from the haircut I got from the previous stylist, Josephine has been trying to fix my hair each time I have gone to her since October 2023. Josephine's prices are very reasonable :) ! And she has a great knack and sense for what works for your hair! Because I have always had white hair ever since I was in elementary school, I have had to dye my hair since I was a teenager. Josephine gave me a really nice caramel brown color that really goes well with my skin tone :) ! Thanks so much, Josephine :D !! And thank you, too, Charlie :D !! When I finally get to the point of needing a haircut, I can't wait to see what Josephine can recommend :) I always look forward to seeing her and Charlie :D ! The best way to schedule with her is by appointment because I don't think she takes walk-ins. You can message her the first time through Yelp. Then for every appointment after that, you can book your appointment by texting her via phone :) ! She really tries her best to work with your schedule. I work really oddball hours at my hospital workplace. But she really tries to help me out by coordinating hair appointments before I have to work in the afternoon / evening. There is a small free parking lot in the back of the salon. If you have morning appointments, it's generally pretty feasible to get a good parking spot there. But if not, there is metered parking out in front of the salon. Or you can also park around the corner on the small side street where there are signs for 2-hour free parking :) . Les Cheveux is within walking distance to a small outdoor mall with a Starbucks and a Chase Bank if you need to stop by at these places either before, or after, your hair appointment (which I usually do) :) !

Now we all know that someone to touch our hair it has to be built on trust. I felt I had finally found my niche, I had came to Lidia I couple times to do cut, color, style. So at this moment I was a loyal client and would go to her in the future. Now some things slipped through the cracks while making my appointment. A couple months back I was ready to make a change and reach out a couple of time via phone and in person and the lack of communication failed. No biggie, I wanted to get my hair done here and nowhere else. Thought third time would be the charm so I stopped in person again and saw the owner Lidia. I mentioned that I was ready for a change and discussed what I wanted, I also asked for her colleague because even tho I had paid for a senior stylist her assistant at the time helped me ol half of the time. Again I did not say anything even after being hosed down during our first session. Decided to let it go. Well I indeed asked if she was available since I knew her as well and knew her prices were slightly different. However I was advised that they were actually the same. They did advise me they had someone knew with lower prices if I were interested. I was happy they were expanding but as I mentioned I was loyal to the person who already doing my hair. I had built a relationship and I was satisfied with the work being done. I requested to be booked with Lidia for my service. Now I know she's not there all the time so we can to coordinate a date where she was here on a weekend. I even requested a quote just so I would have an idea. Done! And received a confirmation. I had to reschedule and booked out for a month later. However the day before my services I received an email and saw a name I did not recognize. So I decided to text and confirm. I was advised that it was not with the owner but with a junior stylist because I had requested someone with lower prices. I was confused because I never asked, I was informed but because I didn't know her I was not comfortable moving forward with her. I then began receiving messages that if I didn't show then I would be charged, oh and the owner was not there so she wouldn't be the one doing my hair. I would however have the person (whom I don't know) do my hair because I "requested them". I tend to be clear, I don't know where the miscommunication came from. I've even received an original email that I was booked with the owner. I requested a call because I know I would never book with someone that I'm not comfortable and now have to be stuck in with. A lot of back and worth which wasn't leading anywhere. Neither of us felt that we were in the wrong, I was told I can book with the owner when she is in but at this moment I felt so uncomfortable and would be so awkward that I'd rather lose business with. I felt there was no accountability taken and I was convinced that I would be charged if I didn't show up with my appointment with someone I did not book.
