Again making it clear that they are focused on what they do best- good smoked meat- with no need to drown it in sauces. There is a service window where you place your order and they call your name when your order is ready. The staff are friendly and very helpful in explaining items and making suggestions... no pomp, no frills. My daughter had 4 ribs, Collard greens, Mac n Cheese, with Banana Pudding. I had the Smoked Wings, Mac n cheese, Brunswick stew, Mississippi mud pudding, and added 4 ribs. The smoked wings were big, juicy, and full of smoked flavor. Mac n cheese was homemade and fresh from the oven. I had never had Brunswick Stew before and it was surprisingly hearty and flavorful. The overall price and value of the food was good and we had plenty of left overs to share. The service was pleasant and accommodating. I would recommend this place to anyone.
