I just have to say this place treats you so well! April has been absolutely amazing! Though I've only had a few interactions with her, she's an angel and I'm so very sad to see her leaving! I really wish she wouldn't go, but i know she'll be happy and i wish her all the best! Still, nonetheless, I'm so very sad, as she's such a gem! Marina, Meg, Desiree, Mariko, Fernanda, Gina, Dr. Viet and Dr. Ellis have all been incredible and treat you with the utmost care and respect. Everyone has been professional and friendly... I actually look forward to going to the dentist! Fernanda was so sweet and gentle doing my x-rays... they were the best dental x-rays I've ever had and they were fast and high tech! I love this place!!! From start to finish my experiences have been great. I love the office staff they are so friendly and on top of things. The assistants are quick and efficient (I am very busy) and while I enjoy the staff I still want to get in and out as quick as possible and they are able to finesse great service with great timing!! I am speaking as a dental patient who has had wisdom teeth removed, 2 root canals, 2 crowns, 2 veneers, teeth whitening, and what seems like 100 fillings (went a few years avoiding the dentist HUGE MISTAKE) which is why it is important to me that I have a great dentist and even more so a great team!!! I paid for two front crowns.. one broke within two years.. went back and had implementation for another and the temp failed, ( paid up front and no warning of time frame)just left the office and paid 803 dollars for that that last run and now have A 2900 dollar bill to make right... how many times should you pay to make right?.. left me leaving the office with a fang for front tooth and was told at least we have to water a mask??? I have been wanting to do a review for some time on Meadows Dental but kept getting distracted. I recently visited and had the same great experience. First, I want to say the front office staff is amazing, not only on the phone when I called for the appointment, but continued during my visit. Dr. Chu is my dentist, I really like him, pretty funny at times, extremely thorough and doesn't rush his answers to my million questions. He is is also very gentle with the tools which is a big plus for me. I'm a bit of a neat/germ freak, this place checks all those boxes. **I'll start by disclosing that I've had very little experience with dentists before visiting Meadows As someone who hasn't gone to the dentist as often as I should over the years, you can imagine that I was very apprehensive and anxious when I went in to Meadows. I've been going for several months now, catching up on various procedures and cleanings that I've needed, and I have to say that from the beginning, until my most recent visit this morning, the entire staff, from the dentist to the hygienist to the specialists to the dental assistants to the front desk staff are all very understanding of anxieties, and are very friendly, calming, and accommodating. They've made me feel welcome and at ease every time I've gone in there. And I've been very pleased with the results as well. ***WARNING*** do your teeth and wallet a favor and avoid this dental office and any dental office under the Pacific Dental Corp. I went in for a cleaning, they took xrays and said I needed a deep cleaning and a bunch of other unnecessary procedures racking up my bill for over 1k. I declined and wanted just the routine cleaning but somehow I was walked to the front desk to make another appt. I made an appt for deep cleaning but called back to change to routine cleaning. Once I go there for my cleaning it took less than 15 min for the cleaning, polishing and flossing. That was the worst cleaning or lack of in my life and I know about cleaning I have always been good about going 2x a year. Never had issues in the past. My boyfriend also went in and was told the same sales pitch. This dental office is unethical and a scam. Any good review is either fake, an employee or someone who has never been to a real dental office. I was telling others my ordeal to find out others had the same thing and some even fell victim to their scam. read more

O.K. people, a couple things about this place and the hard lessons learned from it. 1) They have no clue what they are doing. 2) After they mess up your mouth they will only refund you your money after you sign a "Settlement and General Release". Sounds great at the time, get your money and move on to a real dentist, right? 3) Meadows Dental can damage teeth that you had no problems with. Trying to fix those top teeth at Meadows, can push your bottom teeth out of alignment. To recap, find another dentist. One that will make your crowns himself, instead of having an unskilled assistant who is "learning on the job" make them. 3k in braces is what it will cost out of pocket if this happens to you. My son has been a patient here for 3 years and suffers from chronic dental problems. At the beginning of the year he lost his job due to the pandemic and his dental insurance along with it. My son began to experience pressure in his gum which he has had many times in the past and knew he needed a antibiotic and asked them if they could call in a Prescription for him which they have done in the past. They said they would call back in five minutes and even asked if could Use the same pharmacy! They called back 45 minutes later to tell him that he had to come in. The only reason they wanted him to come in was to suck more money out of him. They even had the audacity to offer a "new patient special" of which obviously he was not. He has had multiple procedures done there already. He offered to go in but he didn't have any money for the visit. It was obvious what he needs and they knew it and they don't care. All this place cares about is money they don't care about their patients or doing the right or ethical thing. Stay far away. read more

I went in for the $59 cleaning and somehow decided to replace two old crowns. The temp fell off that night and the Dentist lives in Orange County. No one was available to assist me. I was in massive pain. Next day - Numbing me up was impossible. Had to have so many shots I actually started to convulse. I have never been afraid of going to the dentist until now. My crowns still are sensitive and I am so frightened to let anyone touch them again. This place is horrible. read more

We just lost are regular dentist to a move. My wife went to Meadows Dental Group for a cleaning. Her teeth are beautiful and she always gets two cleanings a year. After X-ray's, they informed her that she needed a deep cleaning. Tried to upsell her on a "Deep cleaning ". Basically a $2200 scaling job. Talk about a bait and switch job!! Let me start off by saying the front staff is great but that's where they get you! Build enough trust with them. I got the same spiel as all the other horrible reviews. I've never had gum disease and they told me I did and needed a deep cleaning when I only went in for a regular cleaning. I ended up shelling out over 2,000. Plus an onlay. Since I've had the work done I can't bite down on that side of my mouth and have gone In twice to get it looked at. My gums are in pain! I've never had my gums hurt as much as they do now and it's going on 3 weeks. I'm supposed to get a root canal done but after my experience I will be looking elsewhere to go. Went in today and everyone was very friendly and welcoming, especially Dayna. I have been having pain in my jaw for over a month and went to my PCM and they didn't really listen to me and prescribed me bogus medication. Came to Meadows and Dr. Ivy really listened to my pain and problems. I felt like she really cared for my well being and didn't try to sell me on other things, she really focused on why I was there and wanted to make me feel better. The actual dental cleaning was decent. What made things go down the drain was the administrative personnel. After paying upfront for all our procedures we got a $600 bill. It took them WEEKS to be able to explain to me why and they tried to make me call my insurance provider to figure it out. Horrible horrible service. read more

Dr. Chu takes the time to talk to you and make you feel comfortable every time. I've been a patient here for quite some time. I scheduled an appointment for a routine cleaning. At check in I told the receptionist I didn't want x-rays just the cleaning. She spoke to the dentist about it and he denied me service because I didn't want x-rays. No one should have to get x-rays to get normal cleanings. They are not related. I went to to Meadows Dental Group for the first time today. I saw Dr. Ivy Qian Cheng. She was the best dentist I have ever seen. She was informative and very through. She told me everything she was going to do before she did it, and made me feel that I was in very experienced hands. Dr. Ivy was very caring, gentle and friendly. DO NOT GO HERE!! I had an incredibly bad tooth ache, was charged $70 for an X-ray and to be seen, which I had to pay in cash prior to being seen (even though they advertise $59- for x-Ray, and cleaning) when I called them on it, they said that's for new patients only... I paid the $70, got an x-Ray and saw the dentist. He said there was nothing wrong with my tooth, I told him there had to be, it was killing me, he said nope nothing wrong and nothing he could do for me.. I asked if it could be another tooth or maybe my sinus area was infected and could that be the cause of my pain. He dismissed everything and then himself... I complained to the office manager and she said once you've been seen we have to charge you for the x-Ray... So, no treatment, no meds not even ibuprofen ( which I know I can buy over the counter) nothing. I don't know about you but I own a business and I know it sucks sometimes but the customer is always right, and I value repeat customers as much if not more than new- it's called loyalty.. I write good reviews more than bad on yelp, but in the this case: nothing but a very bad experience for me to report!! DO NOT GO HERE!! read more

Last night in the midst of throwing a surprise party for my husband I cracked my front tooth. I called this morning and the front office got me in right away. When I got there I got in right away I had my x-rays by a lovely and friendly x-ray technician. Then I got into it room, now I did have to wait a bit of time but I wasn't upset because they did squeeze me in. Dr. Chu came in quickly assessed the situation And gave me my options. I was to have a crown... Bummer. I rate this a five star because Dr. Chu (actually all the doctors there) are very friendly and honestly Dr. Chu was very caring and gentle. He asked me throughout the process if I was OK or needed a break. But the person I really wanted to acknowledge is Heather. During the procedure she was very professional and efficient, she also carried on a lovely banter in between. She explained everything that she would be doing. What most impressed me was that other office staff came in several times and asked her questions yet she stayed focused on me. It's not that I need the attention but dental work Can be traumatizing (Today kind of was) and I really appreciated her professionalism.
