They look so natural but also completely elevated my smile, like exactly what I wanted but did not know how to explain.... She just knew! She is super detail oriented and really takes her time to get everything right, which I appreciated so much. You can tell she genuinely cares about her patients and her work. Also, Christine, the RDA, is amazing. She made me feel so comfortable the whole time and was just so kind and easy to talk to. It honestly made the whole experience feel way less stressful! We used Rancho Dental when my now adult sons were kids. At the time we had dental insurance that Rancho Dental accepted. My boys are now young men and we haven't used Rancho Dental since 2017. My middle son came back from college up in Northern California for Winter 2024 break needing a cleaning and complaining of pain in his molars, and I contacted Rancho to get him in. I advised I had United Concordia, and the front desk said "we take that", with no mention of any caveats to the contrary. The appointment was scheduled and my son arrived, only to be told last minute that while they accept United Concordia, they are "out of contract" with them and there would be additional costs. My son, not being as savvy an adult yet, and needing the cleaning and exam as he was having pain in his molars, agreed. This was the week of Christmas and getting another exam scheduled before he had to return home the following week after Christmas would have not been possible. We are being billed by Rancho Dental for $189.00. The explanation is, while they "accept" United Concordia, they refuse to adhere to United Concordia's contracted cost schedule and sticks the difference to the Client. Aside from a "sorry we will make a note in the record, how would you like to pay?", that is all they offered to remediate this. Had Rancho Dental told me when I made the appointment for my son, that they in fact don't honor fee schedules of certain dental insurance carriers, we would have used anyone of the countless other equally capable dental groups in Temecula/Murrieta. Recommendation to Rancho Dental- Don't say you "accept" dental insurance carriers whose fee schedules you don't honor. Don't wait until the actual appointment time to then advise of it. Recommendation to potential customers- Insist that Rancho Dental will adhere to your plans fee schedule when you book you appointment. Its unfortunate that Rancho Dental burned a customer relationship over poor initial communication. read more

When we made the cross-country move to Temecula from Pennsylvania in 2020, we left behind a wonderful dental practice that we had gone to for many years. I couldn't imagine finding that same level of dental care without doing a lot of searching and certainly not in the midst of a pandemic! When I suddenly had a crown emergency over the Christmas holiday 2020, thankfully our neighbor recommended Dr. Perry and Rancho Dental. I left a message and even though I was not yet even a patient there, I received a prompt call back and Dr. Dave Perry saw me the very next morning. We've since become regular patients and big fans of the entire practice! I've seen both Dr. Perry and Dr. Dan (in another emergency!) and they are both incredibly skilled with calm, reassuring demeanors. Everything about this office and their fantastic staff instills the highest degree of trust. From the moment you're welcomed when you walk in to their beautiful space to the time you check out, you are treated so warmly and professionally by absolutely everyone! Their patients' comfort is obviously top of mind and they are so responsive if you ever have any problems. Their office location is also great, with lots of parking available. The dentist at this office is attentive, and professional. Unfortunately, the billing office is a completely different experience. At my first visit, I paid up front for an Essex retainer to cover a tooth they had pulled until I could get something more permanent. When the retainer arrived, it didn't fit properly and clearly wasn't usable. The dentist acknowledged the issue and offered to either reorder it or refund me. Since I had moved cities, I opted for the refund. After waiting two weeks with no update, I called the office and was told the refund was denied. When I explained that the dentist had offered it, the billing representative was extremely rude and dismissive. Thankfully, the nurse called to apologize and assured me it was a misunderstanding. I received the refund the next day. I later had a new Essex made by my orthodontist for less than half the price this office charged. Fast forward to today: I drove 90 minutes back to the office for a partial. Thinking I shouldn't even have to deal with the billing department because I now have insurance and already got a quote over the phone on my co-pay. I had been quoted at $1,000 out-of-pocket with insurance. Again, the dentist was great. But then the billing person came in and told me I'd now be required to pay the entire cost up front of almost 2400 and seek reimbursement from my insurance because I had "demanded a refund" last time. I didn't "demand" anything -- I simply accepted a refund for a faulty product that the dentist himself had offered. I left the office feeling belittled and will not return. If you have all the money in the world to blow, the dentist is nice. But if you're like most Americans, live on a budget, and rely on insurance to help cover costs -- this is not the dental office for you. I will never return. read more

After receiving (mostly unsatisfactory) dental services for several years at another dental office, I made a consultation/new patient appointment with Rancho Dental. Not surprisingly, the high-pressured recommendations from the previous dentist were determined to be, well, unnecessary. Subsequent to a new patient tour/orientation by a staff member, Dr. Dan discussed my history and concerns and provided a thorough comprehensive exam. He is absolutely wonderful--- a highly knowledgeable, caring, skilled, and honest practitioner. In addition, I find his office staff to be very professional and friendly. Let me start by saying their front desk team, nurses, and Dr Anderson are great. BUT their billing department is horrendous. Rancho Dental verbally told me and wrote in their documents, that I signed, that they got pre approval for a crown I needed in Oct 2023. It had #'s, breakdowns, the amount I'd pay "from the insurance", etc. May 2024 I get a bill for $1,400+. their billing department threw their hands up like, "sorry your insurance denied it. We tried 3 times. Do you wanna do payments?". I tried for months to get it resolved between them and my insurance. Come to find out they never sent in a pre approval. My insurance told me they never received a pre approval from them. But the paper I signed from their office said it was approved by my insurance. I have a gf who is in the insurance world and she helped me with this battle. We called the dr office one more time (Nov 2024/ before it would hit my credit) and told them we're taking them to the dental board if they couldn't work with me. Whoever we talked to basically said, "we submitted this to the small claims company we're contracted with and once it's there we cannot touch an account". We got the papers ready right after that call and sure enough, a month later, I get a statement in the mail saying they got paid by my insurance. The issue was a code they submitted was "incorrect". ALL of that stress I endured for almost a YEAR because of their lack of accuracy, lying, and un-willingness to help in their billing department will forever turn me away from this office and tell everyone who asks about a recommendation for a dentist in the area. It sucks because I really liked Dr Anderson. He's newer so he should really get out of their practice. read more

Dr. Perry is the most kind & caring dentist I've ever seen in all my years & all of his dental assistants/hygienists are super friendly & helpful. Dr.Perry is gentle, caring, listens to your needs first & is very patient & understanding most especially a trustworthy doctor & dentist. The dental assistants & staff all take meticulous dental notes in your patient file so nothing is forgotten about your future dental work to be done or things they have done. You don't have to worry about remembering work was done because if you do, they have it all written down in the computer. They are up to date with dental technology & if you need to be referred out to a specialty dentist, those specialty dentists doctors are wonderful as well. This is the absolute best Dentist and Team I have ever been to. And I have been to quite a few.. everyone is so nice and professional. I've had bridges Implants crowns from this dentist, and he does perfect work. With never any imperfections , I had some implants done in 2020 and unfortunately, just recently one of them needed to come out. Dr. Perry Told me he will be replacing it with no extra cost to me. so they stand behind their work. It was at no fault of his sometimes I guess bone graphs don't take so if you're looking for an honest Affordable Dennis that does perfect work and stands behind it. This is the place to go. I originally came to this dentist for my son. He needed a cleaning and a referral for an orthodontist. I saw good reviews on yelp and decided to give them a try. When we checked in Jacci greeted us. The waiting room had like a cabin hometown feel to it . Then we had a tour of the office ( which I don't remember ever having one before meeting any dental office.) Collette had taken the X-rays Dr Thomas reviewed my sons teeth. Then Julie was hygienist. She went over healthy teeth. They communicated with each other his chart. The whole staff was friendly, office was clean. There was construction going on but did not effect their service at all. This review is specifically for Dr Dave Perry and his staff. My initial appointment 3 years ago was with Dr Dan. I did not feel immediately comfortable or that my concerns were heard and I did not agree with what he suggested as a treatment plan. Fortunately I expressed as much and was immediately accommodated and moved to the chair of Dr Dave Perry. Dr Dave Perry provided a much more compassionate and long term treatment plan by addressing the concerns I had with my post radiation treatment dental issues; weakened and crumbling teeth. I have had my two front teeth repaired and cosmetically they turned out better than I could have hoped. I have also had multiple crowns installed by Dr Perry and they look completely natural and fit comfortably. His staff is friendly, welcoming and accommodating, 5 Star all around. read more

I visited Rancho Dental for the first time today, and was truly amazed by the experience!! Yes, I realize that's not what you expect to hear about a dental office, but it really was great. My first interaction was an early morning call into their office to see if they could squeeze me in for an emergency issue with one of my teeth. The person I spoke with told me she could fit me in and since this was my first visit she took down my insurance info so they could have everything ready for the appointment. When I arrived the team greeted me and gave me the standard paperwork to fill out. My first impression was that everyone was very friendly and the office was nice. Well, after a few minutes of the waiting room I was called back and taken on a tour of the entire facility. This was a really nice touch, because I got a rundown of the background of the practice and an overview of all of the services they provide. It's also a great technique to get people feeling comfortable with their surroundings - and it works! My dental hygienist was awesome. She was very friendly and shared a little about her background. You could tell she really loved being part of the Rancho Dental team. Almost immediately after a few x-rays, I met Dr. Perry who examined my aching tooth. He spent time walking me through the diagnosis and answering every question I could think of. Just like the rest of his team, it was clear that Dr. Perry truly cared about me as a patient and doing everything he could to help. As it turned out, I needed to see a specialist. Well, rather than just sending me on my way they made a quick call and actually set the appointment up for me. This evening after all of my appointments I got a follow up call from Dr. Perry telling me he had followed up with the specialist's office and wanted to wish me well. Just like most people I hate going to the dentist and haven't been in about 10 years. I went in a couple of weeks ago for X-rays and a check up and everything was good aside from needing a filling and a cleaning. Well, I just came back from part one of my cleaning which was so much better than I thought it would be. I did need to be numbed which also went pretty painlessly. Susie was looking after me and she's amazing. She checked in with me multiple times to see if I was ok and offered me breaks if I needed them. I never felt rushed or judged. The ladies at the front desk are lovely too. The office is very homely and welcoming. All in all I'm super pleased with how it went and will be sure to visit them more regularly! read more

Dr. Perry did an amazing job on my two fillings. He was soft spoken in a calming manor, but confident and trustworthy. I'm afraid of going to the dentist but I was surprisingly really relaxed. He was very good about reassurance, and he was personable. I'm happiest about my teeth! I didn't realize how uncomfortable I was until he fixed them and they feel great and restored! Customer service is awful and they try to blame everything on the Insurance companies and make excuses when they fail to follow through and do their job and get pre-authorization for treatments. Based on my experience it makes me question the integrity and ethics of this office. I would give no stars but it does not allow that. Also, I was at the office when the dentist was clearly sick with cold symptoms which I thought was careless and then I get a call the next day he tested positive for COVID-19 and put myself and my family at risk due to my exposure to him which again makes me question the integrity of this office. read more

I have seen Dr. Dan twice now and prior to that Dr. Perry, no complaints. In fact, I appreciate how both have done just what was necessary during trying times in my life, where proceeding forward with all my dental work would have been overwhelming. The last trip in for a treatment plan, Dr. Dan was very straightforward about what could wait, and what should be taken care of now. Instead of leaving feeling overwhelmed, I felt hopeful. Not a usual feeling for me when leaving previous dentist. I was recommended to them by neighbors many years ago. These ladies have gorgeous teeth, so I knew the referral was a good one. I'm very thankful to have found them and look forward to working with Dr. Dan on my smile in the coming year. The staff is awesome! Always friendly and accommodating with late appointments that work around my work schedule so I don't have to take time off.
