I wasn't spoken to once while the employees were doing random tasks. I walked around looking at different items then I tried on boots in front of two employees who didn't look at me once, greet me, ask if I was finding everything ok, or ask if I needed assistance. I ended up leaving with nothing as the size I needed wasn't in store. The store was in great shape so I gave it two stars but there was no customer service at all. I would have ordered the correct size boot had I been spoken to but I will go back to the other DSW store with the engaging employees so they can get credit towards their individual goals.

She rushed me, gave me attitude, and insinuated that she did not like how I had the boxes and where they were located even though I had them in a different spot from the time before. It was as if she was irritated, and if I did it again, she would purposely continue to put away my options I had out. Having a one year old on my hip and searching for shoes is hard enough. She made the task of shoe shopping extremely difficult. She was dismissive with a lot of attitude and not supportive at all. I wish I did not purchase shoes from Shoe Carnival. I should have left and went somewhere else.

I went here with no real mission, but I left with some great purchases. I purchased a black and tan BCBG tote for $30. The "leather" is butter soft and perfect for all of the junk I tote with me to work. Area rugs are a steal here! I found a white, 5x7 rug with a white and gray Moroccan lattice print for only $50. Other 5x7 rugs I liked at other stores were at least $200. Like other stores, the variety is smaller, but sufficient. Other treasures in the store I didn't buy included a Tahari sheath dress, Dolce & Gabbana perfume for $40, and a very good selection of baby clothes. I didn't pay much attention to the clothing, but the home decor is worth a return trip.
