MDC Diamonds and Moishy were wonderful to work with. I proposed to my fiancée at the end of July, but had started searching for a ring in February. I was originally determined to find a diamond and ring in the DFW area, where I live, but after months of searching I could not find a diamond person I completely felt comfortable with and or would try their best to find the right diamond and setting that I was looking for. The local diamond people and jewelers seemed only willing to sell me what they had in stock. Around May, I started to look online but had a lot of hesitation as I would not be able to see the diamonds or ring in person. Finally in June, I came across the MDC website and I decided to give them a try as they had great reviews and had the a number of variations of the style of ring that I was looking for. Once I contacted them, I stared working with Moishy, and most of my worries went away. Moishy worked hard with me to find the right diamonds and to refine the engagement ring design to my liking. When reviewing diamonds, Moishy would provide high quality 3D images of the stone and the GIA certificates. Once I found the center stone that I liked, to ease my concerns, I had the 3D scan and GIA report reviewed by an international online diamond reviewer, and they said the diamond was an excellent stone and the price was great. I give a lot of credit to Moishy for working with me as I'm a very picky person. Moishy was easy to get a hold of both over the phone and email. In the end, MDC and Moishy provided an amazingly beautiful engagement ring and my fiancée said it was perfect and more beautiful than what she ever wanted. After combing through google images of engagement rings the one that really spoke to me happened to be on MDC's website. I was a little skeptical about buying online so I just gave myself an idea of their prices and the style I liked and then went out locally (Montreal) to see if I could find something comparable. After checking 5 or 6 shops the prices were a good 25% more than MDC and I didn't like the selection. I read as many reviews as I could find and figured I'd take the chance online. It helped that it was a physical shop with an address so worst case scenario I could take a vacation to NYC to air my grievances. I dealt with Rosa exclusively through a string of emails, and she was great. Always got back to me right away and answered all my naive questions. She also handled my skepticism quite well. I had the ring shipped to family in Alberta to prevent my girlfriend from collecting the mail (and save a bit on taxes). For other interested Canadians, all I paid on top of MDC's price was the 5% Alberta sales tax, no extra duty or fees, so it was actually less than buying it in their store with New York tax. I had the ring resized and appraised at a local shop where the (obviously inflated) appraisal was a couple thousand higher than the GIA report and about double what I paid. As I have no clue what a quality ring and a shite ring look like it was good peace of mind to have a couple opinions. My girlfriend absolutely loves the ring (at least that's what she tells me), and I feel like for someone out of their element I got a pretty good deal and really great service from MDC. Hi Rosa, I received the ring and it is absolutely stunning! It is exactly what I wanted and well worth the wait! The channel cut sapphires surrounding the diamond flower crown is gorgeous and really allows the center diamond to standout. The shade of blue in the sapphires is exactly what I wanted and is beautiful in any lighting. The team did such beautiful work from designing the CAD, to cutting the sapphires, setting the stones, as well as executing all the fine detail in engraving the milgrain. I can only begin to understand how hard it must have been to work with such small spaces, with all the curves to cut the stones to fit so perfectly. The overall workmanship of the ring is outstanding. Please send my gratitude to all those involved in making the ring. OK, I have to be honest, I was a bit dubious about using MDC Diamonds at first. All the reviews were good, but still I had that niggling feeling about using this company for such a HUGE purchase as my engagement ring! We thought buying from a bricks-and-mortar store might be safer, however myself and my Fiance contacted the office anyway to meet with them, and from first contact I was really really happy with the level of service we received from Moishy and the team. I am not the easiest of clients let me tell you...knowing a bit about the diamond industry (I work in it actually) I knew EXACTLY what I wanted, what I didn't want, and when I wanted it. Moishy was nothing but completely professional and patient as we communicated back and forth via email about the details of the setting for my ring. When they sent me the CAD image of the ring, we had a few changes and this was no problem at all, within a few days they sent a revised version of the image - IT WAS PERFECT :) Two weeks later and I had my ring. My boyfriend and I decided to get married in Feb, for Valentines day. We had been shopping for my engagement ring and wedding bands for a while online and locally, Delaware. I have a friend in New York that advised that I should shop in New York City, so we did research online before taking a 3 hour trip there. After having had a poor experience with another ring maker in Los Angeles, I found MDC Diamonds in New York. My experience with MDC has been overwhelmingly positive and I fully recommend them for any jewelry purchases. Moishy was very attentive and responded to my questions in a timely manner. I grew up with a dad in the jewelry business, and not only know what I like, and what I'm looking at, but I also have developed a very finicky taste in jewelry. When my fiance thought he'd start ring shopping, we started looking at rings together online. Over 10,000 designs later, I found a ring on Google images from MDC Diamonds that I instantly fell in love with. We looked through diamonds, but I'm really only familiar with GIA certification standards. When we selected diamond certified by a different system, Moishy wrote me back with a magnified picture of the diamond to show me his reservations on that stone. He was right, and we didn't buy that diamond. I can not say enough great things about MDC. A few months ago, I lost my wedding ring and I was heart broken. I absolutely loved it and would never have had it upgraded or changed in any way. After searching for the exact same setting and not finding it, I settled for something close to it from another jeweler. When I received the ring, it just didn't wow me. MDC was fantastic. I came into the process knowing only snippets of what I read online and seen in windows but MDC really helped me get exactly what I wanted. I decided to give them a call and from the very start they were patient and helpful. I sat down with Moishy and gave unfortunately vague musings about the kind of ring my now fiancee was looking for and he sat patiently with me as I fumbled through jargon and he showed me a variety of center stones and options before we found the combination that was perfect for me. Its is our 25th wedding anniversary. My wife had hinted that she wanted a "cocktail" diamond ring.....yellow diamond. Who am I to say no.....right. I contacted Moishy in December 2020. I gave him the go ahead in January time frame. I had googled a yellow diamond ring and found a beautiful ring...oval yellow diamond with Cadillac diamonds flanking the center diamond. My ring just arrived. It is stunningly beautiful. I could not have imagined a more perfect ring for me. It fits perfect and feels perfect. I can't wait to renew my vows with my husband and start wearing it. I came across MDC Diamonds' website while looking for an engagement ring and wedding band for my now-wife. MDC has a huge selection of diamonds and ring designs, I was able to fully customize the ring and make it truly special and not another "cookie cutter" design. Couldn't be happier! I was searching all over the internet for the perfect engagement ring. I came across a setting I fell in love with on the MDC website. Since I don't really know the first thing about diamonds, I contacted Moishy through the WhatsApp app. I received a prompt response and within a day and a half, I had put a down payment on the ring. And as soon as I made the final payment, he immediately put it in the mail and I received it the next day (I also live in NY). I went to MDC for diamond studs because my friend's fiancé had just gotten her ring there and insisted it was the only place where I would get the most for my money. After some intense comparison shopping, I knew I was getting a great deal, but felt like I was getting the same kind of service as I would in those flashy boutiques where everything is ready made and sold at full retail value. For starters they offered coffee and chocolate as soon as I came in then Moishy asked me about my budget, ideal size, etc. and patiently explained all of the diamond language so I would be able to make a more educated decision without feeling overwhelmed.
