OK, so I'm going to address the elephant in the room, I own a bakery. I shop here every week. I…read moreknow your facility very well, here's the problem in the last six months your carts have all disappeared since you started doing ordering through your app, so all of your carts are being commandeered by the employees to fill these orders, leaving no carts for the people coming in from the parking lot to do their shopping, you literally have to follow other people around and wait if you're lucky to find a cart in which to purchase supplies, now call me crazy but without carts, your customers can't purchase products and you can't make money so it seems counterproductive to not address the issue of no carts, no carts equals no sales no sales equal no money, please fix this obvious problem

Hands down the worst Restaurant Depot I've been to. Do yourself a favor and go to Smart and Final…read moreor Costco Business Center. Never any carts because of the Online orders. Their 3rd party delivery service "Rey Foods" gets all the good carts and leaves the worse ones for us customers. Injured my back a couple of months ago because none of the wheels work. Complained to management "Tony Vasquez" but nothing has been done, if anything less carts. Equipment Manager is a joke. Been wanting to buy refrigerators for my restaurant but HE'S NEVER AROUND! Spoke to employees about his whereabouts and apparently he looks over his son's company which happens to be "Rey Foods" as well. How is this not a conflict of interest?! Also, if you spend enough money the equipment manager ( Manuel Romero) will help you with taking your carts out even if there's no loaders around or gets another manager (Abraham Romero). I don't know what store does this, clearly there's some illegal things going on in that store and with Rey Foods, since the equipment manager has his employee from his department scan his son's order. Thanks again employees and customers of Restaurants Depot for all this information. This comes from months of frustration with management here. Not to mention they had a Male entertainer a couple of years ago for an apparent birthday. Can't get security for our cars getting broken into but have enough for a male performer. So UNPROFESSIONAL, and with customer like me in line waiting to get checked out. Please do better Restaurant Depot. I may not spend a lot of money to the point that I have a Manager help me with loading my items, but I've spend Thousands here Ps check your prices at the end. Again, shady things in this store. They sell items with tags from different stores and sell at a higher price.

Upon entering there are shopping carts and baskets. Take a rolling one (trust me) and get ready for a wonderful store filled with food stuffs that will make you swoon. The neatly stacked shelves are filled with things like chocolate, jam, pasta, tinned seafood, chips, and pasta are all neatly organized. Tags indicating country of origin (largely from Europe) are helpful. There are refrigerators full of charcuterie, cheese, and French butter. Freezers have ready to bake breads and pastries from a bakery in Canada. It's actually quite overwhelming (in a very good way), if you don't know what you need. You'll definitely see lots of things you want. The people that work here seem happy and are very helpful. When we were looking at chips, one of the employees shared his favorites. The best part of the visit was meeting the owner. He was enthusiastic and extremely informative! He told us that everything in the store was sampled and scrutinized for taste and quality. He knew everything about the products and why they were sourced. He helped me find a delicious arbequina olive oil from Italy and tins of sardines packed it butter. Swoon. By the end of our visit my basket was full! While the items here are pricey I truly think that the quality is worth it. Parking is plentiful and conveniently located just outside. The store is clean and well organized. Bring your own reusable shopping bags because you'll need it for all the wonderful goodies. Definitely returning! Pure electricity that took my friggin' breath away. I was overwhelmed as I stumbled around with my kid who also was in awe. The staff are fantastic. Eric is a master Jedi and was so thoughtful, energetic, detailed and soooooo fun with his descriptions, guidance and suggestions. I am was so so happy to hear that that this place is extending its square footage as well. (Thank you Eric for sharing and showing us the new space!). I don't know what to say. You just have to go. Imagine yourself in some great food adventure and you enter a vast other wordly cathedral filled with gems and golden treasure. That's Epicurus Gourmet. I've been in LA for well over three decades and its rare that I am frozen in my footsteps when walking into a new spot - but this place did it. A vast Disneyland of tinned fish, butters, pastas, meats, chocolate, spices, so so much more. Honestly, for anyone passionate about food and cooking, it may make you cry visiting this spot. Perfection. Go. Many thanks to Eric and the entire staff for making our first visit with you wildly memorable and deeply enjoyable. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Soooooooooo glad you are nearby!

We used…read moreBetter Together Builders once before for a smaller project, and based on that great experience, we hired them again for a major remodel. Even though the remodel has just begun, we are already beyond impressed. Their communication is out of this world. They use WhatsApp and video walkthroughs to keep us updated every step of the way, which makes such a huge difference. Alon, the general manager, is incredibly knowledgeable and communicates with us daily. Whenever an issue comes up, he presents reasonable solutions and explains everything clearly so we actually understand what's happening. The demo crew was amazing--fast, efficient, and they left the house spotless. They bring in large work crews, so the job moves quickly and efficiently without cutting corners. There is always plenty of supervision on site, and unexpected issues are addressed immediately. Sapir in the office has also been fantastic. She keeps us informed about permits and sends us copies of everything, which makes the whole process feel organized and stress-free. When we interviewed contractors for this project, Better Together Builders (Alon and Ido) stood out immediately. They got back to us quickly with a detailed bid and even invited us to visit a current job site they were working on. It was clear they have their act together and strong relationships with their subcontractors and crews. You will not find another contractor who combines excellent workmanship with this level of communication and professionalism. We can't wait to share photos of the finished remodel and their amazing work. Highly, highly recommend.

(Updated March 2026) I hired Better Together Builders for a…read moremajor home renovation and paid over $175,000 toward the project. While some work was completed, the overall experience has been disappointing due to prolonged delays, unfinished and substandard work, poor communication, and lack of accountability. Key examples from my project: * Electrical work left incomplete and hazardous (exposed wiring), requiring me to hire a licensed electrician at my own expense. * Poor preparation and installation led to chipped slabs, misaligned cuts, unpatched drywall holes. * The wrong type of water heater (indoor instead of outdoor) was installed, requiring full replacement. * Partial demolition -- I paid $20k milestone but had to complete much of the ceiling/wall demo myself. * Large portions of kitchen and bedroom work abandoned/incomplete. Communication was inconsistent -- I often had to chase updates, and there were barriers to effective discussion due to my deafness (I rely on ASL as my primary language, but no qualified ASL interpreter was provided for contract explanations or change orders). This contributed to misunderstandings about scope and costs. Extended delays caused months of lost rental income and extra temporary housing costs. I ultimately stopped working with BTB and hired another contractor who completed the remaining work faster and to a higher standard. Update (October 2025): Discovered additional serious issues, including the improper water heater install. Update (December 30, 2025): Matter entered formal mediation (unresolved). Update (February 2026): Submitted BBB complaint (ID 24475296, ongoing). BTB responded disputing claims, but I found their response unsatisfactory due to incomplete timeline and unaddressed issues. Update (March 2026): BTB filed a lawsuit against me in Los Angeles Superior Court (Case No. 25STCV36434) seeking to foreclose on a mechanic's lien for approximately $113,000. On January 30, 2026, my attorney demanded binding arbitration at the BBB per the contract's arbitration clause, requiring a court-certified ASL interpreter for accessibility. The dispute remains unresolved, and my out-of-pocket repair and completion costs continue to rise. My lawyer and I have filed a Verified Cross-Complaint in the same court against Better Together Builders, Inc., owner/CEO Yaniv Brikman, project manager Alon David, and representative Lena Agbaria. My original review reflects my direct experience. Homeowners should carefully verify scopes, permits, installations, subcontractor quality, payment milestones, and communication accommodations before proceeding.
