This relates to what comes across as current communication issues. And if I come to Yelp and highlight the good, it is only fair to also highlight when an experience with a company... is not good. I do not have a problem with a business being busy. That is a good problem for a business to have. My issue comes, when instead of saying you are busy, the business continually makes appts or followups they do not keep. At that point you do something I have a problem with, you waste the one thing none of us can afford to waste, you waste time. In this case you waste my time and that, especially when you do it repeatedly, I find annoying and unprofessional. If you can't do a job, say that, I am happy to give business to others. And it is preferable to over-promising and under-delivering. Will not belabor the point, that is my most recent experience. And hopefully this review saves you... time. Thanks.

Was really happy with what Henry had to say as well as his price (literally 1/3 of what at least one other estimate was), and even better, he said "Yeah, we also do gutter work and siding power washing". So we had them do it all!! Communication was great. And continues to be great. They did the work and I asked them to return a couple of months later for some minor "touch-up" sorts of stuff. They did so with no hesitation. Really happy with everything and we will definitely have them come back every 2-3 years for more power washing and driveway sealing.

But Will at Roof Pro showed us that only part of the roof would be a problem. We went with Roof Pro, and years later I can say for sure that Will was correct. Another much cheaper company told me at that time that a skylight had to be replaced, but Will showed me that what looked like damage under the skylight was just a bad paint job at the top, so we didn't have to replace it. Will also has been so responsive to me for all these years. 2 or 3 times when we had internal damage, he came right out to evaluate. Only one of those times did he find a roof repair needed ( the others were not caused by the roof). But his responsiveness was impressive ( which is important if you think that water is seeping down into your home)! I am now having another skylight replaced and some more roof work that was finally needed. I trust Will so much that I did not get another quote. Also, in this new job I needed metal put over an unsightly area on the side of a lower stone wall, and since they were using metal for flashing on a part of the roof, they agreed to put some of the metal on this other area. My point is that the workmanship on this other, very visible area, turned out to be excellent,. I recommend Roof Pro highly.

A little while ago, the estimator call and said he not sure about a wood core storm door and will have to speak with the project enginner. Apparently the estimator doesn't know the products he sells and he didn't do the preliminary work for my estimate. I told him to cancel. I'm a retired engineer and I would never start a project like that.

I needed my gutters cleaned and to power wash my townhouse and paint some stairs. Tom's price was definitely much higher than the other companies I received estimates from but he seemed professional and kept going on about how he was one of the only ones that was licensed and bonded. Even though he said it would be 7 weeks before he had availability to come out and get to my house I still hired him. He said once I give him the check for the down payment that he would give me a date that would lock me in. My date was July 15th and that date came and went and the 16th, 17th, 18th, 19th, 20th, 21st all came and went. I finally called him on the 22nd and he called me back and apologized and told me he would be there next Monday. On Monday he calls me and says he can't make it on account of all this rain we are getting but he would be there Wednesday. I have no idea what he was talking about because it never rained but I'm a very reasonable guy so I told him not to worry and Wednesday would be fine. He comes out Wednesday to power wash the house which only takes him about 90 minutes and says that the paint I selected for the outdoor deck stairs is not very good and that he has a "special sealant stain that he uses that would only be XX dollars and that I'm in luck because he has it in stock." The paint I selected is 10 year outdoor Behr paint that I have used several times before and works great. He comes back the following week to paint the stairs and is in such a rush that he misses several spots. When my wife and I point it out to him he says "it's the paints fault, it's total ****, this stuff is like water." It's not the paints fault that there are several spots of the stairs that never were touched by his paint brush. He took on too many jobs and spread himself so thin that he did a rush job. I would not hire Tom again, awful customer service with no pride in his work or attention to detail.
