Just what we have been needing on the west side, a local restaurant with a diverse menu selection, reasonable prices and quality food in a comfortable family style atmosphere. These folks came in with a vision and in my opinion are definitely on the right track. Chili Pepper Chicken, Grilled Mahi Salad ( on local organic greens Not ice burg), Campanelle Pasta all delicious, good portion sizes followed by the best Sweet Potato Haupia Pie ever... and with all that, to top it off like the Haupia on our pie, the waitress was really sweet and made us feel right at home. Do your homework! Find a more suitable option for lunch. Food - Ordered two entrees - Burger and MCS special (combo plate). The burger was okay, nothing great but if you're really hungry it will do. This restaurant had horrible staff. The lady at the cash register had the worst attitude towards everyone and was bothered to be there. They refused water and condiments for the meal. The food was average and definitely not worth dealing with the staff. read more
