Still no resolution to the issue. In speaking with others, I'm not the only one who has paid for special lenses that didn't do what they promoted.

I went through the preop prep, which was time-consuming for all involved so I feel bad for deciding not to follow through. I chose the Office near me but after the appointment was made, i have been asked to drive 30 miles out of my way to go to their other office because of equipment being down. & basically it was implied thst every future appointment would not be in my location and no indication of this issue being remidied any time soon. & basically said that they would make the appointment but probably continue to call me to move it to the other location, which obviously is more convenient for them, but that wasn't part of the plan in the beginning if I had known that I was going to be coaxed into going 30 miles away (plus for me to get to town is 12 miles) almost 50 miles each way, I wouldn't have chosen this office or this Dr. so I feel kind of confused and that they weren't upfront with my original appointment. Also Anna, who is borderline dismissive and retrieved most of my calls, seemed happy to cancel my next appointment without even offering a suggestion or resolution. I finally got very annoyed & canceled the whole future service. Which I had been excited to have done.

From the…read moremoment I stepped into the office I was greeted by friendly and knowledgeable staff who took my information and then escorted me to the exam room. Victoria and Luke were really enjoyable and great conversations started up with both. I found myself relaxing more and more. Dr Abroms then came in and took me through the cataract surgery and what it would look like, how long it would take and what the results would be. They scanned my eyes which took only minutes. Then I met with Lisa the Executive Director who went over all the packages available. She was very thorough and I picked my package and we headed up to schedule the surgery. A week later I was at the Surgery center in Arroyo Grande. It was a well oiled machine the way they got you ready made you feel comfortable (Zara, Jen and Lisa) and wisked me into the operating room. After (20 minutes) I went home and things were a bit blurry for a day. The next day I couldn't wait to schedule the other eye. I haven't seen this good since I was 12 and no glasses. I had a wonderful experience.

He has treated my high eye pressures first conservatively and then with LST. On a routine exam he discovered a very concerning but totally asymptomatic retinal blood clot and referred me to Dr Steinle a retinal specialist. Dr Hulburd recently did cataract surgery for me and i couldn't be more pleased. He also practices in San Luis Obispo if you need to see him there. He is in my opinion extremely competent and I would not hesitate to refer him to anyone. And he is a really nice person.

I'd say lack of communication between doctor and surgical coordinator. Poor professional attitude. Im traveling to oregon to have it done. When I had the accident I went to SLO emergency rm. They put me in an ambulance and shipped me to Fresno community medical center. Its been 4 weeks and still no resolution. Will probably loose sight in this eye. My second visit was rescheduled the day prior, my third appointment I showed up 10 minutes early to an empty office, no one called me to reschedule or anything. Finally today I arrived at 12:50 for a 1PM appointment and sat in my car waiting to go in and my phone rang... "The doctor is late from surgery and so can you come in at 4?" Really? I am here in the parking lot..."do you want to reschedule?" NO... just show up when you say you will be there. If I ran my business like this I would be out of business! They are terrible for customer service... when I finally see the Dr I will see if they are actually ok physicians. I am waiting again 5 folks in front of me after they asked me to go home and come back.... SUCK!

Scheduling a nightmare. Emails, calls, emails, calls. Finally set up for my son, took him out of…read moreschool. They said "his appt was yesterday," wherein I replied "no, look at this email, I wasn't available yesterday," and receptionist took no responsibility. It was definitely Wed not Tues. She wouldn't look at my emails. She said "oh, she shouldn't have done that"/scheduled you? My son didn't feel heard at the appt with the Dr. He had a concussion and was sent for that, not a normal eye exam. I was but off by him too in our conversations. Disregarded. Now he is getting glasses, don't think that is the correct route? My appt was suppossed to be immediately after his (for his 9am we arrived at 850 and he was seen at 920/ a student missing school). The first thing I asked was if the dr was on time. Then for my appt, it was supposed to be back to back, mine was at 10, we were there still, and at 10, she stated there were THREE people ahead of me, so an hour wait. Didn't mention they stated they "squeezed Max in today," so therefore the wait, because of their schedule mishap. Felt disrespected and won't go back. We just left, I had to get my kid back in school. Going elsewhere.

Had PRK corrective surgery here. Initial impressions were good, however the experience would turn…read moreinto a major red flag minutes before the surgery. Dr Sani warned me just minutes before surgery that corrective surgery may take multiple sessions. (We had already had multiple appointments and this was the first I was hearing of multiple sessions under the laser). Surgery was quick and painless, however Dr sani would go on to accidentally cut my eye when removing the bandage contact lenses with his tweezers 7 days after prk laser surgery. He was adamant that he didn't cut my eye, and that I just had dry eyes, which was a common side effect. After weeks of dealing with eye pain and being out of work, and his diagnosis of "dry eyes" I saw another eye doctor. The 2nd eye doctor quickly diagnosed me with a cut to the eye, From a sharp object. (His tweasers). What should've been an easy fix, Dr sani failed to admit his mistake and turned my 2 weeks off the job into over a month. Overall poor communication and and ego turned this experience sour. I wouldn't go back to this location or recommend them to anyone.

Very knowledgable man you see the actual physician not a nurse or PA and he is able to diagnose…read morecorrectly and provide treatment. His cost ends up being the same as a copay and because he gets the diagnosis and treatment right the first time. It probably costs less than going to the other urgent cares in the area. Because they will order unnecessary tests to make more profits (and to help them figure out the diagnosis because they often do not know what they are doing as you do not see an actual physician).
