Today I went to have my last 3 remaining wisdom teeth pulled. I'm in my mid-40s and had just delayed their removal, but now they have cavities and it made sense to just pull them. Of course, extractions are not pleasant and I won't pretend that I enjoyed the experience. However, Dr Suh is just a great dentist and I felt like I was in good hands. She has a gentle, compassionate demeanor and is very competent.

I have genuine difficulty with X-rays, and instead of showing compassion or trying to help, they pushed their hardline stance while I was in visible distress and literally vomiting on the floor. Then the day before, I was called to confirm my appointment and told the exam would be $190ish. When I asked about this, the phone call randomly ended. I showed up to the appointment anyway as it's so difficult to get a dentist appointment in a timely way, and the dental assistant after doing x-rays with me said I had no cavities. Then the dentist comes in and says I have tons of cavities and makes a plan for me that's over $2000. I don't doubt that I have cavities, but I feel like the inconsistencies were confusing. I'm personally going to get another opinion before coming back.

I had an insane toothache at work one day, and my manager told me I should see her dentist rather than continue my suffering. She called up and managed to get them to fit me in the same day! Dr. Burnett fixed me up, and I was so pleased when I left that I even went back two weeks later for a cleaning... and then two weeks after that for a filling (oops.) Dr. Burnett and his hygienists are really good at what they do, and they actually care about their patients, and about wanting them to want to come back to take care of their teeth. I didn't get any lectures, just straightforward advice on what I should be doing, and why. When I went in for a filling, they let me bring in my iPod and offered nitrous oxide if I was anxious or uncomfortable. (I was.) It was the least traumatic experience I've ever had with needles and drills in my mouth.

They had my social security number still. So just be forewarned that even if you go in for a consultation they will hold your private information to years to come. Also, during my treatment I received an email that their system had been hacked and my information had been stolen. So be aware. I have only met with the orthodontist once--at my initial consultation. I did not see him at the time I received my aligners or during my mid-treatment appointment, and all of my follow-up visits have only been with dental assistants. One of the main issues I had with my teeth I brought up during my initial consultation to the ortho, I even brought it up again to the dental assistant during my half way point when she showed me what the final results would look like and I told her I don't think my problem will be fixed. I have finished my treatment and have been emailing their office to try and get in and meet with someone about my teeth because I would like to have my issues addressed not with another dental assistant who is going to ignore me but with an orthodontist to review my progress, discuss my concerns in detail, and ensure that my results are what I asked for. Over a week later I have still not heard anything. Not to mention I already paid for my retainers that I still have not received because they haven't contacted me to come finish up the last of my treatment

I went to High School with one of the Dentist but didn't get to see him on my initial visit as he was at their Seattle location. But seriously from the front desk staff to the hygienists and then Dr. Sullivan. I had the best care. The chairs massage you...which was unexpected...flat screens on the ceiling so you can see what they see. Everyone was so thorough in explaining what they were doing, care tips and treatment plans. They made sure to explain what my insurance covered what treatment should be done now and what could wait until the new benefit year. I was even given a Sonicare toothbrush for being a new patient. Best dental care I've ever had!!
