Susan is the best assistant, always welcoming me with a smile. Amy is a gem. I appreciate her patience and understanding. Crystal, the hygienist is gentle, thorough, and actually wants to know the patient. Dr. Miller was recommended to me many years ago by a colleague. My experience with him and his staff have surpassed all expectations. My mom and my daughter are patients and we are collectively content with our dental family.

I gave them my son's insurance information and had our first appointment. After that, it all went downhill. I should have found a new office sooner but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. It took them close to a year to actually get his insurance on file. I lost count of how many people I spoke to on the phone and in the office and emailed. It was beyond ridiculous. Every person I talked to claimed his information was never saved by whomever I spoke to before them. I was to the point of just wanting to leave if they couldn't even handle getting his insurance correct. During this time, I spoke to them that there was a possibility of my son being neurodivergent. I had suspected ADHD and sensory issues. They noted it and accommodated as needed. Since they were doing this for him, I decided to stay. Then in November 2024, he was officially diagnosed with ASD and SPD. I gave them his diagnosis letter. His last appointment was last month. Again, they were very accommodating the whole time. I did get upset though because after the dental assistant was done, we had to wait almost 20 minutes for the doctor to come in the room. Upon his examination, it was determined my son had his first cavity. He was supposed to get it filled today because they had stated it should be done ASAP so it doesn't get too big. All last week and up until yesterday, I had prepped my son for today. Unfortunately, he worked himself up so much yesterday and anxiety got the best of him. He threw up a few times from being stressed and nervous about the procedure. I called last night and left a message about how he was feeling. I got a call back this morning and was told he'd have to be rescheduled due to throwing up, which I knew was from anxiety. I explained this and that he was nervous. I was really asked what he was nervous about. I'm like we'll he is almost 6, he has autism and SPD and it's his first filling. I was told she would need to speak to the dentist and get back to me. It was unclear as to whether the appointment was actually canceled or not. I had to call two more times to find out. After the final call, I was informed we were being referred out per the request of the doctor. I find this absolutely absurd that they would rather take the easy way out then try to find a way to help my son feel comfortable. After the accommodating they had already shown throughout, I had expected more. They are a very disappointing office. I would not recommend them to anyone whether your child is neurodivergent or not.

Jeni has been my go to for the last few years when I stumbled in here after another dentist couldn't adjust my bite after they seated a crown. Dr. Stevens is far from a "quack" as someone has accused. He has seen a few things that could become and issue later but there is never any pressure to fix it NOW. it's something he notes to monitor. He's friendly, personable, seemingly loves his job, and brings light into a room. I HATE the dentist but this is the first place I have come where my heart rate isn't super high the whole time. They make you feel welcome and they ask questions about you and your life, make conversation and laugh. I hate getting my teeth cleaned. Honestly it makes me skin crawl but Linda somehow made me so comfortable that I didn't want to jump up and run. She was kind, funny and used the water pick thingy. Not sure what it called hahaha I had a few things come up (crown that came off and a front tooth that chipped after 30 years) and they got me in quick. Some dentists could have found something wrong w the crown that was seated wrong and lie and say it needs to be redone but he didn't, I mean this crown was just made a few weeks earlier by a dental office that was closed shortly after. Maybe that's why I was an exception because most dentists won't touch someone else's work. He was able to take care of it w out gouging me pocket. When he fixed my front tooth he jokingly bragged about being the best chip fixer. I ended up ripping tape w my teeth(oops) and I broke it off so when I came back it was funny to poke the joke. He was a good sport and we all laughed about it. I haven't had an issue since it was refilled and adjusted redone free of charge. I won't go to another dentist unless I leave this state. Nearly a 5 star rating, you can't make everyone happy so that rating with all the accusations says a lot about that patient but not everyone as a whole. Make an appointment you won't be disappointed from beginning to end.

My experience with this dentist had serious and lasting consequences for my health…read more * I had healthy teeth before treatment and had never undergone invasive dental procedures. I believed he was simply redoing some old fillings. * During the first appointment, my frenulum and facial tissue were injected multiple times with anesthetic after I was told to keep asking for more if it "wasn't working." It wasn't working, and the injections continued. * During a later visit, I received what appeared to be a very large injection of lidocaine inside the back of my mouth before being sent to his brother's office for a procedure I later questioned. * A later dentist told me some of my teeth appeared to have been partially extracted. I also later realized he had been using an in-office crown machine after hearing him talk about it, something I did not understand at the time. * After these visits I developed neurological symptoms, arrhythmia, and paralysis affecting my upper right lip and mouth movement near the injection site. Years later the arrhythmia continues and I am still working to recover neurologically. * When I tried to obtain my X-rays, I was first told they could be purged due to record-retention laws. After I cited the law, I was told they would provide them, but later I was told their server went down and the X-rays were lost. * I later discovered consent form issues and had difficulty obtaining complete records. * Because I did not initially understand the cause of my symptoms, I moved several times and eventually out of state believing the problem might be environmental. The matter is now active in appellate court. Patients should always request copies of their records and imaging and consider a second opinion before major dental work.

We have been going to Lo Family Dental for a little over a year now. We found them through our…read moreDental Provider and they're extremely close to our home as well as a very reasonable distance from my kids' schools (Lake High School and Idlewild Elementary), which makes appointments that happen during the school day a lot easier! It also helps that they've always run very close to on-time - if not completely - when we have had an appointment. For a working Mom with 3 kids, this is an extremely important characteristic in an office. As an adult, I've had a good experience here with only one exception. My only negative experience (the loss of one star) has been over paying for a sleep guard that did not work... by "did not work", I mean that it did not fit the first time and cracked when I tried it on before even leaving the office, seeming to be made with a very brittle material. They were VERY kind and re-did my molds and sent away for another guard. This one arrived after a couple weeks and still fit very oddly and tightly. Dr Lo did his best to adjust the fit and told me it was ok to be tight... then one night, while wearing it (and biting on it - my primary reason for having it since I have TMJ and clench my teeth badly) it cracked in half and I woke up to it in the back of my throat, as I'd inhaled it and I rolled over and coughed it out. Kinda scary. Since then, they've apologized for the incident and promised to take care of the cost of the guard, but I haven't received an update (it's been about 4 weeks). My dental care - cleanings, x-rays, etc - have all been great. The staff is all wonderful and Dr. Lo is kind and a great communicator. My kids have also had great experiences. My 15 year old has connected with one of the Hygienists who has been able to really convince her about the importance of consistent brushing a flossing (a constantly battle with her since she was old enough to brush her own teeth) and this year she is cavity free for the first time since she was 9! Yay! My 5 year old has had a positive experience here, also. They're not a "kids" office but they do accommodate kids well. We had some trouble with x-rays due to the size of the guards inside of my daughter's mouth the last time we were there so we had to skip the x-rays this time around because it seems they were causing her pain (I don't see this as their fault - she got herself psyched up and couldn't be talked down). We'll continue seeing Lo Family Dental, though we might look into a kid-specific dental office if we continue to have issues with my youngest and her anxiety about x-rays.

My dad recently had a dental emergency and called them after hours.  Dr. Jared called him right back and helped him so much.  He ended up getting a tooth pulled and having an implant placed.  His smilelooks so good now and he is so happy.  Said it was a pain free experience. He paid about $2k for his implant, which seems like a good deal.  How they handled my dad's emergency really made me want to post this review and say THANK YOU!
