Was treated completely unreasonably because they required I pay a deposit the day before my appointment, even though I've never had to prepay for any services there, and because my card wasn't working over the phone was told I'd have to reschedule the appointment until I could come into the office just to pay, instead of allowing me to make the payment in person the day of the appointment....highly recommend you find a better dentist office with more reasonable and respectful policies

I've been in and out all my life but American dentists practice a little different from the ones overseas. Dr. Norooz was so refreshing and comforting. He also has a sense of humor that really helped ease things for me. I live in Olympia and although I'm never excited about having to drive an hour to get his office, let me tell you, it is very worth it! Everyone is his office is knowledgeable and friendly. I never feel embarrassed and everyone there is so professional. They also offer sedation, which I need to calm down and not feel the pain. The shots just don't work for me. Anytime I've had a problem, I've been able to come straight in or I had access to the doctor. If I tell him something hurts, he ensures me that he will be as gentle as possible. This is a great place to visit if you're scared of the dentist, like me!

Jeni has been my go to for the last few years when I stumbled in here after another dentist couldn't adjust my bite after they seated a crown. Dr. Stevens is far from a "quack" as someone has accused. He has seen a few things that could become and issue later but there is never any pressure to fix it NOW. it's something he notes to monitor. He's friendly, personable, seemingly loves his job, and brings light into a room. I HATE the dentist but this is the first place I have come where my heart rate isn't super high the whole time. They make you feel welcome and they ask questions about you and your life, make conversation and laugh. I hate getting my teeth cleaned. Honestly it makes me skin crawl but Linda somehow made me so comfortable that I didn't want to jump up and run. She was kind, funny and used the water pick thingy. Not sure what it called hahaha I had a few things come up (crown that came off and a front tooth that chipped after 30 years) and they got me in quick. Some dentists could have found something wrong w the crown that was seated wrong and lie and say it needs to be redone but he didn't, I mean this crown was just made a few weeks earlier by a dental office that was closed shortly after. Maybe that's why I was an exception because most dentists won't touch someone else's work. He was able to take care of it w out gouging me pocket. When he fixed my front tooth he jokingly bragged about being the best chip fixer. I ended up ripping tape w my teeth(oops) and I broke it off so when I came back it was funny to poke the joke. He was a good sport and we all laughed about it. I haven't had an issue since it was refilled and adjusted redone free of charge. I won't go to another dentist unless I leave this state. Nearly a 5 star rating, you can't make everyone happy so that rating with all the accusations says a lot about that patient but not everyone as a whole. Make an appointment you won't be disappointed from beginning to end.

I believed he was simply redoing some old fillings. * During the first appointment, my frenulum and facial tissue were injected multiple times with anesthetic after I was told to keep asking for more if it "wasn't working." It wasn't working, and the injections continued. * During a later visit, I received what appeared to be a very large injection of lidocaine inside the back of my mouth before being sent to his brother's office for a procedure I later questioned. * A later dentist told me some of my teeth appeared to have been partially extracted. I also later realized he had been using an in-office crown machine after hearing him talk about it, something I did not understand at the time. * After these visits I developed neurological symptoms, arrhythmia, and paralysis affecting my upper right lip and mouth movement near the injection site. Years later the arrhythmia continues and I am still working to recover neurologically. * When I tried to obtain my X-rays, I was first told they could be purged due to record-retention laws. After I cited the law, I was told they would provide them, but later I was told their server went down and the X-rays were lost. * I later discovered consent form issues and had difficulty obtaining complete records. * Because I did not initially understand the cause of my symptoms, I moved several times and eventually out of state believing the problem might be environmental. The matter is now active in appellate court. Patients should always request copies of their records and imaging and consider a second opinion before major dental work.

However, his office staff is the worst that I've ever worked with, especially the lady that works in the billing department. My first interaction with her was when I brought my daughter in and they had to perform a root canal.- when I was paying the bill. I asked her why one tooth was more expensive than the other tooth and she continued to chastise me and say well there are teeth that have more roots than others in a very snarky response, as if somebody who does not work in dental understood this. My other daughter also went in for a root canal and they ended up having to extract the tooth failed to tell us that she needed to come back to get stitches removed and she ended up having pain about a month later and they said oh sorry we dropped the ball on this one. The last straw was when my newly turned 18-year-old daughter went in for some work, and they failed to tell her that this was not going to be covered by our insurance because this work was already done previously at another dental clinic. To this day I continue to receive invoices in the mail saying that this is overdue and emails. We refuse to pay this as it's their responsibility to let us know that something is not covered because it was already previously done that year. My husband has attempted to have several calls with the insurance companies and this office and has completely failed. I have moved my entire family out of this practice and onto a new one and I would say I do not recommend giving them your business.

As someone with severe medical trauma and constant intrusive thoughts, this last-minute change significantly worsened my existing fears and anxieties. While I understand such adjustments may be necessary, giving notice so late made it far more distressing. For those on the spectrum or who rely on medication to manage appointments, be cautious, there's better specialized offices available.

The individuals at the frontdesk, in charge of the office running smoothly are rude and offer the poorest customer service I've ever dealt with when it comes to dental/health care. Some of the doctors (Dr. Lewandoski) are not focused on providing good dental care due to incompetence. In the last 3 years this clinic has placed an emphasis of making money by providing substandard dental care. I had to find another dental clinic to have my teeth properly cleaned even after I tried communicating my concerns with the Frontdesk. A new dentist had to address my dental concerns and addressed my teeth not being cleaned properly after 6 - 8 cleanings. The clinic drilled into my teeth, claiming I had a cavities and placed fillings that lasted only a year or so. This clinic and several others in Pierce county are owned by group of investors who seem to have little interest in patient care.
