I don't know what she did and cost it $2000 because my insurance wouldn't pay for that recommendation. Well the money is gone and it's all out. I have no more ... I've been in there at least once a month for the last year. That's how many issues I've had. With all the x-rays they're taken and all the times they've looked into my mouth nothing should be missed. So far I've had two root canals or more I've lost count. Last week, one failed root canal, He couldn't finish it. I've also had 1 extraction and 10 fillings. According to them, I still need another root canal and an extraction. And mind you I don't have that many teeth left. I have a few teeth in the front on my top and bottom. I can't tell you how many times I've been in pain. I go for root canal and the next thing you know something else pops up. When I point out why didn't you see this before? Call me just gives me a blank look . I shouldn't be paying for this if you missed it "Why don't you see this when I'm in here, They showed me a picture of a tooth that they were doing the root canal on last year that you could see with the naked eye that it was starting to get decay. Why didn't they take care of it then? He has no answes and they just look at me like I'm stupid. I actually had to take a loan out to pay some surprise charge that my f****** insurance should have covered. I have two insurances. I want to know why my insurance was completely billed out last year... both insurances. What kind of charges are you sending out to my insurances. I want a complet accounting of what's going on and I'm going to call both of them to find out what the hell's going on. It's happening again this year. It's only February and they're not paying for all these issues that I have. I shouldn't be paying for a failed root canal. And he did a filling that was it and I get a bill for $277. I'm not paying it. I'll be calling my insurance . Something is wrong. I go in last Friday for a root canal. It's the most pain I've ever been in my life. By the way, the shots hurt, the whole process hurt. They're not even trying to be gentle in any way , it was horrible. I thought I was going to die Or have a heart attack. This isn't the first time I've been in pain. I've had other root canals. Hurt like hell!!! Then they have one of their assistants put in nine fillings. The first four she did. I thought I was going to die. That's how much it hurt. I told them I can't do nine at one time so they did four or five but that was too much . They had my mouth open so long. My jaw was collapsing. And they keep hiring assistants. I don't think I see the same person twice So there's a problem here. I want my money back for all the missed issues that they haven't seen that have caused me extreme pain. I don't want to be in extreme pain. I pay you as a professional to make sure all of that is seen and taken care of and it doesn't turn into one emergency after another. Plus I have gum disease. My gums are raw. They have no answers for that. Brush my teeth harder. You got to be kidding. That hurts. Why would you tell me to brush my gums till they bleed? I could go on and on. It's incredible, now I have a half finished root canal and he wants me to go to an endodontist, which is going to cost thousands. You didn't finish the root canal. You need to pay for this. There is no way I'm responsible for the dentist to not able to finish a root canal. That is absolutely unconscionable with all the x-rays you've did. I've had so many x-rays. I'm going to get cancer... How can you not see anything with all of those x-rays you've taken and all of these high-tech impressions of my mouth??? They don't care if you don't have any money. They just gloss over when when you're telling them stuff. However, they're billing my insurance too much and I want the money back and I want them to finish their work or pay for the endodontist that all of a sudden I need. With all the x-rays and impressions you take in my mouth, you should have known that canal was too thin or whatever the hell you said and You should have never started it in the first place. The tooth didn't even hurt me and now it does. Do you care??? You're paying for the endodontist if you can't finish it?. Not me. In addition, I'm going to have both my insurances account everything that you've done and what you're billing them for. I want a refund.

I was shocked! He explained they are short handed due to the holidays so he goes in on Fridays (when they're closed) to help catch up! I love that he rolls up his sleeves and does all the work in his business wherever it needs to be done. I will also say that I've been going here for about 12 years and as infrequently as I go, again 2 yrs since my last visit , he sure does have a good memory or takes good notes on patients when they visit. He remembered I have a teenage son and 2 small daughters, and we chatted about his 3 boys and how different parenting teens and young adults is in today's day and age. A couple of years ago, when I inquired about whitening after my first visit in 3 years and having back to back babies, cause pregnancy really took a toll on my teeth, he said it's cheaper and easier to just do the whitening strips at home, and I appreciated that especially since at the time I had two under 2 in diapers and daycare. He's a family man and appreciates his patients for who they are and where they're at in life. 10/10 would recommend Dr. Smith for your dental care and needs.

The cleaning was just Muh, but the real kicker is when they came in and said, "you have 6 cavities, then it was 9"! They checked my teeth out and did more x-rays that I also had to pay Advanced Emerald Dentistry to do. Do you have a guess of how many cavities they found? That's right 0! Advanced tried to scam the insurance out of $1,328.00 and me out of $432.00. This at the very least is insurance fraud and malpractice! It's amazing that they haven't been shut down yet. Just so disgusting that they are trying to rip people off and put them through the pain of surgery and not to mention destroying good teeth. All to line their wallets is disgusting!     Earlier last year, I visited this dental office after moving to the area, seeking treatment for…read morepain in one of my molars. With fillings in most of my molars, I expected that I'd eventually need root canals on those teeth. After an initial assessment, the dentist informed me that multiple fillings needed to be redone. I asked about the cost out of pocket, and was told it would be $0. Based on their recommendations, I decided to proceed with the treatments, including addressing the painful tooth. The dentist warned me that the painful tooth might need a root canal, but they wouldn't know for sure until they began the procedure. I expressed my preference to go ahead with a root canal, so I wouldn't have to come back, especially since they couldn't guarantee that replacing the filling would resolve the pain. They scheduled my appointment, though the front desk tried to push it two weeks out. After reminding them that the dentist considered the situation urgent, they suddenly had an earlier opening just a few days later. On the day of the procedure, I reiterated that I wanted to move forward with a root canal. Halfway through, they informed me that the dentist working on my teeth didn't actually perform root canals and that they could only do a filling. I was shocked. After the procedure, my pain persisted, and I was told I'd need to return for a root canal. At this point, I was told that I'd hit my insurance coverage limit, meaning I'd need to pay the remainder out of pocket. They insisted I pay everything upfront, but I refused and asked them to run it through insurance first and bill me for the balance. I also made it clear that I didn't believe I should be charged for the initial filling, given that it was ultimately replaced with a root canal. They refused to waive that charge. They told me they would prescribe something for the pain until I could be seen for the root canal. I informed them that I had just finished 4 weeks of antibiotics for another issue and they made the decision that another antibiotic would not fix the issue, so they would prescribe me something else for the pain. When I went to pickup the rx, it was an antibiotic, which I did not want. I ended up canceling the rx and just working through the pain for the next few days (I'm allergic to NSAIDs so there wasn't much I could do). After finally having the root canal, my pain didn't subside after a few days. They had me come back to their office just to refer me to urgent care, where they assured me that I just needed to wait a few weeks for my gums to heal from all the dental work. So, I ended up at urgent care because the dental office seemed uncertain, adding additional hundreds of dollars to my medical bills. Months later, I still hadn't received a bill or any follow-up, but then I found out they had sent me to collections. To make matters worse, my tooth still bothers me. I would strongly advise against going to this office. The staff is unprofessional, the communication is poor, and most importantly, they seem completely incompetent.

Dr. Tomlinson (who was much kinder and professional than her father) performed an exam and said that there was one more cavity that he had missed and did a filling for me. I went home and again, horrific pain. I went back in and Dr. Lawrence L was angry as he was doing my exam. Screaming at me. So much so that his assistant had to say "he's not mad at you.. etc etc." twice. I was a young, timid girl and was afraid to speak up even though I was terribly uncomfortable, upset, and still in pain. He said that it was because I was grinding my teeth that's why I was in pain. This is the worst, throbbing toothache you could imagine. I called a different dental office. After they did some tests, I was told that one of the tooth he drilled on had nerve damage and needed a root canal. I called his office, trying to choke my tears back while talking to the receptionist. She could tell I was in agony and referred me to an endodontist in Tacoma since I did not want to deal with Lawrence Ladowski's abuse anymore. The receptionist also sent me flowers. It ended up costing me thousands of dollars at his office for the fillings that caused me to need a root canal and another $1800 for the root canal at a different office. The worst part was a whole week of agonizing pain and the frightening, embarrassed feeling I was subjected to while being yelled at by this dentist while in his chair for being in pain that he caused. I am confused as to how 2 professional dentists could miss the fact that the pain was due to nerve damage on that tooth. I went to 2 different other offices and they figured that out right away. It has been a while and I am still so sad for the me that was too afraid to speak up when he was yelling and being unprofessional to me. I LOST SOME GUM TISSUE IN THE PROCESS, WHICH DOESNT GROW BACK. (This is not supposed to happen) After the deep cleaning,,, they changed the initial measurements of my gum line. The prior measurements of 3's&4's before the cleaning became 4's&5's after the cleaning Ill be following up on this. To make matter worse, since i was in soo much pain due to the gum loss and the gum tissue being so swollen and inflamed. I asked Dr pavlov for 1 or 2 pain pills to get me through the next 24hrs. Dr Pavlov, became dismissive and flippant. He rudely stated that my request was highly unusual. I didnt ask for anything more to get me through a 24hour period. Lets not forget his staff caused this issue. He didnt even take the time to examine my tore up gums. Yeah, how dare I ask for pain relief when im experiencing pain that your practice caused. Im a 58 yo professional/USAF. And he treated me like a drug seeking addict. Even though they caused the issue by their shoddy performance of cleaning my teeth. I dont tolerate being treated this way.
