They were totally professional and thorough in considering my needs. My new prescription was a bit unusual because it is a temporary fix between cataract surgeries. So they spoke to my doctor directly to confirm it was being filled correctly. They promised to turn them around in two days, and they were done on time. I will certainly continue to use them for my eyeglasses needs.

I searched high and low for anyone who could fix them but nobody carry's montblanc anything. Called about 5 shops, went into 2 optometrists in the area. Nobody could help. Online there were no repair kits that had the size required to fix my sunglasses. I called McNelly and spoke with Linda Kintu. She was super helpful and even went out of her way to help me find montblanc's repair website. Unfortunately that ended up not working out, but Linda said I could come in and they could see what they could do to help. When I arrived at the storefront, Linda was very welcoming and nice! Absolute people person. Linda and Ed Marshall took a look at my glasses and realized that it would require a specialized custom part to fix them, and that they didn't have the part. However, they decided to go above and beyond to help me and were able to somehow construct the part needed out of what they had in the shop. Never expected my glasses to get fixed so I gotta recommend McNelly and both Linda and Ed for their help.

Milan was kind, open to listening and had amazing suggestions! I was treated like a friend and it made my day. I would definitely come back to this location for Milan and the teams amazing service.

Today is 30 Apr 2026... making my prescription more than a year old. Luckily, I had a backup second pair of glasses of the same prescription. That said, I wanted to get the frames that fell apart either fixed or replaced because I would now be without a backup pair of eyeglasses. When I went to the originating myvision store they would not fix or replace the glasses because I hadn't bought the $29.00 insurance where I was never asked about adding that option in the first place when I originally purchased the frames that just fell apart yesterday. Rather than fix or replace the obviously defective frames, they suggested I could use superglue myself, to reinsert the arm into the hinge myself but they refused to fix my glasses. Instead, I've gone online and given them a bad review in several instances... but enough about them. I opted instead to take my business elsewhere and walked down the street to buy new frames at the new Warby Parker store. I entered and was greeted by a salesclerk thereafter I spent some time looking at new frames. Now understand, had my other glasses not just fallen apart, I'd still be wearing and using the prescription dated 24 Jan 2025. So, after selecting a Warby Parker frame style I liked, I went to speak with the clerk and asked them to use my current prescription which I then presented. I was then told the prescription was more than a year old and would have to be replaced where I needed to see a doctor and get a new eye exam and prescription. That was absolutely absurd... I was already upset with the other vendor down the street, then to hear the clerk at Warby Parker tell me my prescription couldn't be used, I asked to speak to the manager. The manager came over and proceeded to tell me the same thing where he likened my using the eyeglasses prescription that I currently use daily, to my using an old out-of-date prescription medicine. He too refused to order new glasses for me using my current vision prescription. His response blew my mind. Warby Parker was refusing to honor my prescription because it was 66 days older than one year. I was told of course; I was welcome to waste more time and schedule an expensive eye exam with Warby Parker to get a new prescription identical to my current prescription. UGH. It's unfathomable... I've used the same prescription for years where last year for the first time in many years my script was slightly updated making it impossible for me to use my older glasses. I cannot believe Warby Parker wouldn't sell me new frames using my current 1-year and 66-day old prescription. Warby Parker is definitely NOT a business I'll ever recommend to anyone.

I was told there was a slight delay and they would be in shortly. Days later someone left a message for me letting me know the machine was broken. At the 3 week point, I called and asked for an explanation and a new delivery date and was told the lens manufacturer was in Houston and they were trying to resource making the glasses. No, new date, no explanation until I presses for it. Even worse, I couldn't find an email or other contact number for the optical company, so I could figure out if they had a plan or were even telling the truth. Boy, do I wish I had chosen somewhere else.

The manager Amanda got me all set for an eye exam (it had been a while), which was done right there in the store. Amanda then helped me pick out new frames and explained all the lens options for me. I went with progressives, and was pleasantly surprised that uv and scratch guard was included in the price! Also, because of the special they had I got a discount on a second pair that I had made into sunglasses. They took my insurance and my out of pocket was reasonable. All in all I had a pleasant experience and highly recommend Amanda and her team.
