The first time I've ever left a tip at a laundromat or dry cleaners! The service was just outstanding. I left a cash tip as I've heard from a few workers at various other businesses that I regularly visit that any tip left by credit card payment may take a long period of time to actually get to the employees. On a whim I called a few places hoping they could do a quick wash and fold for me. This is the one place that picked up and they said they'd do it same day for me. I showed up with my little hotel laundry bag and they said they'd have to charge me for the 10 pound minimum, which is $12.00. That's a pretty damn good price where I come from! I should have brought my whole suitcase there. They said my clothes would be ready by 5, I got an email at 4 and drove over to pick them up. The lady greeted me with a smile and gave me the clothes and off I went. Everything smelled great, socks and t-shirts folded, and I'm super happy with the price.

I live alone and my laundry had become very backed up. Unfortunately, I fell and required an ambulance/hospitalization. Prior to coming home, my sister dropped off my laundry at Pacoa's - finding it conveniently located in Publix Shopping Center, and it was 72 lbs (several items were wet)! When I was discharged from the hospital we were able to pick it up on the way home! I have never been so pleasantly surprised at the pride these folks take in their work! The clothes weren't simply hung at shoulders or folded and put over hanger; these were meticulously placed so the clothing would remain wrinkle-free and unstretched! The hangers were covered by the light blue drycleaning protective bags. I don't ever take that care with my clothes! The folding was so precise and uniform, I didn't want to take it out. No kidding, when you are disabled and have many, many needs - you notice details like this. And -- it is AFFORDABLE!! I'm so impressed with the efforts and product these folks provide that I want to tell them to charge more as they are definitely worth it! I'm trying pickup/delivery today and honestly, I expect them to be eagerly smiling when they knock on the door! Pacoa is a Treasure in Tampa Bay!

I'm assuming that all is going well with these alterations but I won't know for two weeks. I wanted them to take their time to do it right. As soon as this is done, I will take my clothes to his recommended dry cleaners. Be aware that the hours here say they are open on Sunday. This is incorrect. The website doesn't have the latest updated schedule. Your best bet is to always call ahead of time if you are under a time crunch. In my case, I was called Friday and was told my clothes are ready. Unfortunately, I'm not anywhere near that area so I'm going to have to pick it up on Tuesday because Monday is a holiday. Planning ahead works for me, but many people wait until the last minute and alterations are one of those things you need time for. Other places may accommodate you, but I'm sure you won't get the same quality. Actually I just realized that this was sitting in my drafts waiting for me to finish my overdue evaluation. The clothes were done very well and they are still looking good. One pair of pants that are my favorite now look very well on me. I use them a lot. Can't find any faults with their alterations. I definitely will use them again even though they are pricey. You get what you pay for here no doubt about it. I've read the reviews about this establishment and all the negative comments are from people who don't understand work, quality, speed, & cost.

When my husband picked up the shirts (2 polyester, 2 cotton, 1 linen, all labeled machine wash), he was told "they needed special treatment" (not sure what that meant as they were on hangers, not folded in boxes. They insisted my husband paid $25 for 5 shirts. The next day I went in and asked (he's probably the owner but he did not know me because I was not there before). I asked how much to "wash and pressed cotton shirts" (just to be sure he knew they're not silk or anything that needs special treatment). He said $3 a shirt. I repeated the question, again he said $3. Stay away from this place. They rob you and you have no choice but pay unless you give up your clothings and walk away. They basically hold your garments hostage.
