As a leader of many organizations, I can honestly say this is one of the worst businesses I've ever been involved with. The leaders do not lead with conviction, just excuses. Culture is terrible. What is the ONE thing people care about the most at a gym? Cleanliness. 24hr fitness? An F for failing. They take away paper towel dispensers so the people use less. They seriously don't care. If you care about cleanliness, this is not the place for you. If you can tolerate poor leadership and a filthy environment, then go for it. Spectating had a unique set-up for the northern division pools. One could stand on the pool and watch, but there was also a multi-level building with a balcony one could stand on as well as a bleacher area by a grassy lawn located up some stairs from the pool deck. The grassy area might not have been huge, but it was large enough to have some space to spread out during dual meets. During division-wide/league-wide meets (such as prelims, Northern Division, or All-City), the space was more cramped, but still large enough to get a small area. Concessions and ribbons were housed upstairs at the building, which was nice especially on dreary days. Restrooms were on the bottom level of the building and could be reached from stairs by the building or via the pool deck. The pool was on the cooler side and had slippery tiles. That was something our coaches emphasized for us to practice during warm-up - turns without slipping. Parking near the building was quick to go during meets, so getting to the pool tended to include a bit of a walk. Though, since that was the norm, it was easy to plan ahead.

Ceiling tiles have been broken or missing for decades, some lights remain out, and consistent hot showers are a bit of a coin toss. But the pool itself is what matters, and it's a consistent good swim at a reliable good price. REGISTRATION APPLICATION: 3. I'm now raising this to a 3 because this glitzy application now actually works end-to-end, once you figure out all the wrong turns to not take. It is far from intuitive, and successful checkout may require clicking on an obscure "Apply" link in blue-on-blue text. I hope someone eventually does formal usability testing. PEOPLE: 5. The team here is phenomenal, and they've done a fantastic job getting swimmers signed up in the absence of a functional sign-up app. And they're doing the most with the facility they have. Average it together, and the weighting goes to the folks doing the work.

I used the waveaquatics.org site to purchase a drop-in pass for $10. I went on a Sunday morning around 9:00 am; kids lessons appeared to have started around 8:30 am so maybe 8:00 am would be less busy. The deep end was reserved for lap swimming. All lanes had at least one or two people in them. I observed the swimmers while I warmed up and decided which person to ask to share. I was able to split the lane with them, which worked out well. 15 mins of freestyle and I was gassed, but it was great! The locker room was well equipped with changing rooms, toilet rooms, and lockers. Several of the locks were very difficult to turn and makes them unusable. I found a locker that is higher up and must get less use because it was super easy to turn to lock after setting my combo - it is the same style lock as you find in many exercise studios these days. There are three rinsing showers for use immediately before and after swimming and a nice big mirror to put on and check your swim cap before heading to the pool deck. There's also a few full showers for getting clean and back into regular clothes. Lots of hooks are around for your towel but be sure to bring one! I forgot today and asked for one, but they didn't have any they were willing to provide.

Good amount of seating for those watching, the pool gores to 15ft deep, there are multiple diving boards, there were a lot of lap swimmers there, must be all pumped up from watching the Olympics...lol. Nice facility, large changing/ showing areas. Just wish they had a large screen TV for those not in the pool since there was a Seahawks game I was trying to watch. I was able to plug my phone in and catch parts on my phone...service was a little shotty. Everyone that worked there was nice, and my son really enjoyed the scuba diving class. It went until 9pm. It's too far out of our way to go just to swim....but if it was closer is definitely take my kids there to swim.

That night she started having episodes of vomiting and diarrhea which lasted for two weeks. I am not going to this pool again. They are not strict about the rules of swim diapers, taking showers before the pool and I have seen kids getting in the pool without taking a shower. Today was one-on-one with the teacher and getting used to the water. There was some instructions for the kiddos and they did great listening! I definitely recommend giving this place a shot. They have a shallow end for the kiddos. LSH didn't have a shallow end. They have an awesome snack counter with drinks and coffee. Everything you need for swim meats. There is also a large gift shop right when you walk in. We look forward to the rest of the classes as the summer progresses.
